We love going here our waitress Lina is excellent and helpful. Food is delicious from the artichoke French to the prime rib, soups seafood dishes to dessert. Nice view of the forked river. We also stopped at the tiki bar on our way out, which is very nice and right on the water.

Went there to celebrate my fiancé birthday and the food was delicious. Our server Lori was amazing. Amazing lunch

Rice crispy chicken with pumpkin pesto

The food was and bartenders inside the restaurant were great. The chicken was perfectly cooked and was full of flavor with and without the pumpkin pesto. The potatoes and vegetables were also perfectly cooked. My one and only complaint has to do with the security or lack thereof; especially on a night with a large amount of people going in and out of the tiki bar. I should not have to be concerned about beer bottles ending up ON my vehicle when leaving. And seeing as that it was two different kinds of beer, clearly it was two different people carrying beer bottles out of your establishment. As if finding one beer sitting on my running board wasn't enough, finding a second one dropped in to the spare tire carrier on my Jeep is completely unacceptable. Clearly there are no security controls in place.

Nice menu with lots of options. Seafood is well prepared. Never had any issues with anything. The onion soup is delicious. Great selection of adult beverages. If you save room for dessert get the carrot cake. Great staff and service and lots of windows to see the water outside.

Everything was great at our visit! The food was very delicious and so were the drinks. Service was prompt and the live music was a nice touch. We all ordered seafood and my crab pasta was 10 out of 10!! If your in the area give this place a try!!

Lightly fried shrimp and scallops

I was hanging out with a friend in jersey and we were looking for a place to eat and came upon this seafood restaurant, it is off the beaten path kind of restaurant. Following gps you pass a bunch of nice looking houses, then you arrive at a dock and nearby is this wonderful restaurant. We came during a weekday for lunch and I thought I was in retirement land, I would say 95% of the people there were seniors. I've had weekday lunch in a lot of different places but this was unique. The menu had a lot of variety of seafood. I had the sea bass which was very juicy and tasted fresh out of the river. My partner had the lightly fried shrimp and scallops, this was lightly fried where you can still taste the shrimp and scallops, which was a win since some places tend to over fry seafood. Service was ok, they didn't refill our water for quite a bit of time. Food came out fast. Decor was quite back In the days, nicely decorated, not overly modern at all. They hold parties for special occasions. Definitely something to consider if looking for a space because there is plenty of it. Plenty of parking in their spacious lot. Prices are reasonable. There isn't a whole ton out here. We went a little off the main road to get here. Would recommend if you are in the vicinity. They were open and it was not even in season yet for the jersey shore areas, so many restaurants were closed.

We had a family party here in one of their party rooms. They were very accommodating to our large group. We did have to guarantee 25 people which was not an issue for us. We were able to pick the menu and get an open bar for our guests. The servers were friendly who took care of our party and helped us with anything we needed. Very cute atmosphere inside and feels perfect for the shore. The food was average and I know that some in our group have come for dinner or lunch and have spoken highly of it- so maybe it was just large quantities and what we picked. Everyone had a nice time. We will be back!

This place was right on the water. And had an amazing outdoor and an indoor space. Very cool vibes. The waitress was attentive and helpful but didn't linger. It was nice to be able to chat without interruption. The food was good. I tried the crab cake on a Caesar salad. Friends had a crab cake sandwich, and the Asian salads . All were fresh. The crab cakes were very delicious and more meat than filler. I'd recommend.

Great stop! Came to visit family and the food was good. It took a little longer than expected but well worth it. The ambiance was average, but good prices and my meal was pretty good.

Tonight specifically, I went to dinner with my girlfriend for an early Valentine's Day dinner, and had yet another pleasant experience! I ordered a ribeye steak, it was cooked perfectly, which is something that rarely happens at restaurants. It was also very good, one of the best steaks I've ever had, which is especially impressive for a non-steakhouse! I was overall very impressed tonight that it prompted me to leave a review. Not that I haven't been impressed the other times. Our waiter, Chris, was also exceptional. Very speedy and proficient in the serving process. Very accommodating and constantly asking to help. Went above and beyond to ensure us a good experience. The atmosphere every-time I go is great, I always love the southern-like feel with the country music playing, and the clover leaf to highlight Irish heritage! Would recommend this place to anyone, they always deliver a great experience. Look forward to returning as I always do. They have never disappointed! Of course, nobody is perfect besides Jesus. My only critique is how long it took for us to be seated when we first arrived. This, of course, is a good sign for the restaurant, as they're busy! I'm just nitpicking, but I did get impatient while waiting to be seated. After that, I had yet another tremendous experience as always! I wish I was able to give 4.5 stars, because I don't like to give out 5s as nobody is perfect besides Jesus, however 4 stars is too low! Think of this as a 4.5 star review! Well done to Caffrey's as usual, and waiter Chris!

Waking up to a fresh snowfall is always a gift--made even better after an exceptional New Year's Eve at The Waterfront NJ Restaurant in Lacey, NJ. This year marked our 35th consecutive celebration with our best friends the Fays, a tradition that grows richer every time we gather. The ballroom was beautifully decorated for the holidays, and the band "Slap Happy" delivered an outstanding performance. With the drinks flowing, at one point, we even found ourselves at the microphone, adding our own spirited contribution to the night. While our table was a bit close to the stage--and the volume certainly matched the energy--the music, dancing, and drinks created a vibrant, festive atmosphere. Angolina, our server, was outstanding, helping to elevate the evening from the moment we arrived. Warm, attentive, and effortlessly efficient, she kept the celebration flowing. We began with our first round of drinks, and I made sure to savor my final dirty martini of the year. After three rounds and plenty of laughter, Angolina returned to take our dinner selections. Jeanne Marshall Schrader chose the jumbo shrimp stuffed with crab, finished with a luxurious lobster‑sherry cream, and served with rice and vegetables -- $35. I opted for the Zuppa D'Pesce: a beautifully prepared combination of jumbo shrimp, sea scallops, crab meat, little neck clams, and mussels in a spicy marinara over linguini -- $42. Carolyn Fay and Bob both selected the GF filet -- an 8oz center-cut topped with compound butter, accompanied by creamy mashed potatoes and a side of demi‑glaze -- $42. It was a flawless New Year's Eve--excellent food, exceptional service, lively entertainment, and the best company to welcome another year together.

I expected to see more younger folks singing but it was mostly a Boomer night. Service is always great and tonight was no different. My only (recurring) complaint is how does a place that prides itself as an Irish Pub serve ICE COLD Guiness. I knew this from past experiences, so I ordered a Guiness with my martini and let it sit a good twenty minutes but it was still cold by the time our dinners were served. Bar seats were at a premium until after the dinner rush. Then it opened up a bit. Pool table is always busy when I have been there. Im sure we will return, but Im not sure I will order any more Guiness until they get serious about serving a proper stout.

We were greeted and sat by a pretty young lady named Kat (I'm just guessing that it's spelled with a 'K'), who said she was tired and at the end of her shift, but was still full of energy and very sweet. She went on to answer our questions about the seafood bar and about the menu too... The seafood bar was small but full of great seafood choices! The interior was fitting for the area, well lit, had wood paneling, a large bar and plenty of seating. Also, since it is a bar, the urinals were made from old kegs... A cool addition and an 'up cycle' idea. Food... I was hoping for some Irish dishes, but because they closed early for the holiday, they kept the menu limited, so I opted for the next best thing, a big ol' burger, salad, and a bowl of clam chowder, which is not common where I live. The clam chowder was full of clams and vegetables, but not tomatoey at all. It tasted as good as it looked. The side salad was large, fresh and refreshing. My burger was just how I like it... Thick, juicy, flavorful, and spicy! I order mine med rare, Blackened, with jalapeños, bacon and cheddar, lettuce, tomato and onions on top, then add hot sauce. I will definitely go back the next time I'm in the area and try some other things.

The dining area was ok, but had a good view, depending where you are seated. The staff was friendly. However, the gap between the appetizers and the main courses were too long. It was my brother's birthday and he ordered a prefix menu for everyone. For appetizers, We had raw oysters-on-a-half shell, calamari and baked mussels. They were good. Unfortunately, one of our tables didn't receive any oysters. The staff said they ran out. The choices for the main course were butterflied shrimp (4 pieces), Chicken Francese or a grilled pork chop. I picked the pork chop, while my wife picked the chicken. My other brother picked the shrimp. The food was ok. Not bad, but nothing spectacular. For the price my brother paid, you'd expect more. If you picked the shrimp and you were hungry, you'd be unsatisfied. They weren't filling. I don't know if I'd recommend this place or not. The place was busy, though. I guess they have a following.
