Let me begin by saying that this place is absolutely beautiful and visually appealing. The food is phenomenal, with outstanding taste, flavor, and quality--definitely a great value for your money. The staff are very friendly and helpful. It is definitely worth checking out, and it will be a staple for every vacation I take to LBI. P.S. the "old old Fashion" was great too ;)

Low key delicious apps and beverages during the day at the end of the earth.. gotta make it your business to stop in here. Calamari , crab fingers which I don't think anyone else is doing and blackened wings were all delicious. Nice mix of beers on draft and can/ bottle for the crew to chill with. Pay our respect to Ol Barney and play some mini golf on a nice day. Day mark was the perfect spot to kick off the afternoon.

Daymark is personally my favorite spot on the island! 10/10 recommend for any meal! This is a must stop if you are staying down by the lighthouse. This bayside restaurant sits nestled along the sandy shore, a mere block away from the gentle lapping waves of the ocean- Whether day or nighttime you're guaranteed to eat with a view! Daymark has a scrumptious seafood menu that will drive your tastebuds wild! Whether you're enjoying the swordfish, a crispy fish sandwich, or simply a burger you will not be disappointed. I could go on and on about the food but I'll leave you with this... The bartender recommended we try the crab fingerlings.... Oh my god, i've never tasted an app so good!! The dish was served with enough crab for 2-4 people, and was decadent!! From the flavorful broth to the crostini to the crab itself, we were blown away.

Ever since the Daymark has opened, we have loved coming here - so much so that we have made the trip two years in a row - ON my birthday (Happy Birthday to me!!). The second we walked in, the bartender (Greg) recognized us, and we got to catching up - picking up right where we left off a year ago - like old friends. So friendly and attentive (as always!!). This time, we started with some cocktails ... bourbon neat for him, and for me, the Lolita (Tequila, Aperol, Simple, Lemon & Lime). GREAT cocktail - flavors were balanced and super light and refreshing. Then we had some appetizers (as you do when you sit at the bar). I started with a dozen Oysters (Tuckers) that were so wonderful - I could have had 24 more. Hubby then had the meatballs - a special for today - they were light & airy, and didn't fall apart (just could have used a toast point to soak up that delicious sauce!!). Then came the Chicken Tacos (Happy Hour menu)... HOLY HELL were these good - a little kick from the marinade, but cooled off with the creama on top. After that, we delighted in the always wonderful Cacio e Pepe - something not on the menu, but ALWAYS a good choice - beautifully balanced and creamy - the Bucatini (just like spaghetti but with hollow centers) is a fantastic choice. Now granted, we were here for 2+ hours... so then we had the Crab Fingers - ALWAYS a crowd-pleaser - so delicious and the PERFECT seafood-town snacking food. We also got the Grilled Romaine - no joke, top 5 Caesar Salads I've ever had - the romaine is *slightly* wilted, but perfect and the dressing is a damn revelation. Finally, we had the Apple Crisp (because, birthday)... and DAMN that was delicious. The apples were perfectly cooked and the crumble was addicting. Thank you again, Daymark, for an amazing Birthday!! We can't wait for our next trip!

Great happy hour at Daymark. As of mid September they have happy hour weekdays 4-6 pm (closed Wednesdays). There were drink specials on well drinks, wine, and beer. We chose the well drinks for $6 each. Happy hour food specials too, we got wings and chicken tacos for $8 each. Both were really good and large portions for the price. We also got a non happy hour app, the yellowfin tuna tartare served with garlic toast points. Fresh and local caught, it was excellent. We also had dessert - brown butter strawberry shortcake, which was fantastic! We finished up with a couple of espresso martinis (not on the happy hour menu). Service was fantastic all night and the restaurant has a cool vibe. The bar area is large, so it can accommodate a lot of people for happy hour. Check it out!!

I went for Mother's Day with my mother and her best friend and the decor is absolutely adorable and I was looking forward to hopefully a " Mother's Day Brunch " type menu but they did not have that for some reason . I could smack myself. I didn't think to take pictures until AFTER the meal - seeing as during the meal discussions became tense ( well it is Mother's Day - what do you expect ) I ordered a drink that was forgettable honestly ( it wasn't BAD - It just also was not amazing but again that could have been my fault ) I ordered steamed clams and an tuna tartar appetizer both absolutely EXCELLENT and for seafood lovers the tartar dish was vibrant and just refreshing - as well as the pita I asked to use as dippy helper. As a meal I ordered eggs Benedict over crab cakes. It was just alright - I was looking more for a seafood tower or scallops dish and that was my fault for not calling ahead of time- but my mother and her best friend absolutely loved it and enjoyed their meals very much. My mother ordered the local yellowfin which came which bbq flavor and kimchi and she been raving about it for days. Her BFF ordered a pasta with clams and I am usually weary about clams but they were cooked perfectly. The service was phenomenal overall. My server was extremely sweet and accommodating as was the busser helping out . I really loved the atmosphere- and decor ( anywhere that doesn't have carpet is automatically winning with me ) it didn't feel stuffy and it felt very welcoming and friendly . I will absolutely go again and I would highly recommend this restaurant to seafood enthusiasts and "outsiders" I saw some none seafood dishes on there as well.

Brussels sprout with bacon is sooo good, crispy yet not at all oily. One of the best made dish in all of tri state region. Very impressed. We had no wait for a table around noon, although they were briskly busy on this holiday. Our server was relaxed and not bothered by the commotion, took his time and helped us through our choices. No brunch cocktails for us, we dug right in to meals. I chose the peach burrata caprese salad plate with a side of blackened chicken breast. Although the menu said the peaches would be grilled, they were cold. Perfectly ripe and firm, a great sweet contrast to the balsamic vinegar drizzle. Creamy burrata, basil, and sliced grape tomatoes rounded out the plate. This was a superb salad. The grilled chicken was a $6 add and came on a separate plate. Generous sized, the breast was well seasoned and tender. We took some home with spouse's plentiful potatoes from the skillet. Spouse went with the meat lovers skillet with scrambled eggs and wheat toast. The skillet had ham bacon sausage and cheddar cheese with a huge pile of potatoes and two scrambled eggs. It also included wheat toast. This was a lot of food! This is a bright, well lit, smartly decorated restaurant, where I would love to have spent time at happy hour. Good service, good food, not overpriced at all. Maybe another visit next time we're in New Jersey!

Right now they have a tiki theme, however, that's it in my opinion as far as draw to keep going there. The drinks are an overpriced smoke screen for people who want to waste money on a sugary drink. And it goes along with the whole Asbury Park eclectic vibe but most of the drinks have a 5 or more ingredients I never heard of (which is fine) but it waters down the drink. I don't want to have a drink (or pay $15+ for a drink) that tastes like a fruity cup of juice. As far as the limited food suggestions on the menu- only 2 or 3- this is the third time we've been there and they said they were out of food -so then take it off your menu if you can't be consistent!!! We're not just going to keep drinking without anything to eat to go along with it. As far as the service it's inconsistent, when we sat down there was only two of us- The server was very nice but we waited too long for our drinks. A party of 7 came in about 1/2 hour after us and they had their drinks within 5 minutes- that should never be. After one drink we got the check and we left, we are completely scratching it off our list, we will not return there. It does bum me out because it has such potential and there's nothing like it around but I'm not going to visit an establishment where I walk away feeling it was a waste of money.
