Casino clams linguine- tasty!
Terri C.

I'm so glad this placed opened in the area. We drove past this place last night and made a mental note to come back when we saw how packed it was at 9pm. Food, atmosphere, service were all wonderful. The one suggestion I would make is to ask about allergies and to list allergens on the menu. The place is big. It has a lot of different sections. The outside area and the inside area have different wait lists. Both areas look vibrant. The outside area has a cornhole game and bocce and large fire pits with lounge seating. There is a musician singing. Reminded me of those relaxing southern cozy cookout type places you see in the movies. The inside area is beautiful too. It has a shuffleboard, mini bowling with bar seating and a lounge waiting area in addition to a bar dining area and several dining sections. The place is lodge themed. The high ceiling, decor and the overall vibe makes you feel like you're in a lodge. It all looks new. There's a lot of energy here and it's a lot of fun. There was a bowling lane open and so we played while waiting for our table. Food is good as well. Based on other reviews, I thought the portions would be small. We ordered way too much. None of us were able to finish our food. For apps, we got: Pull apart pigs in a blanket- flaky, unique and really good. Baked Brie- rich and creamy- tasty and good. It comes with 6 small slices of crostini. Wish there are more pieces Wings - 10 pieces. Honey glazed, slightly sweet, crispy and good Casino clams linguine - 6 pieces of clams, linguine in a parsley filled, buttery white wine sauce, bits of bread crumbs . Really delicious! Vodka rigatoni- huge portion! Good Short ribs - a large piece of short rib with fingerling potatoes- really good too Tomato bisque soup- rich, thick and creamy. Filled with cheese and topped with toasted bread slices - delicious! Service was great. Food came out a lot quicker than I expected. Server checked on us multiple times throughout the meal. Bartender managed the bowling area. He was great too and was on top of everything. Amazed at how he remembered everything from drinks to the bowling queue. Everything was good. We had a great time here.

Overall just okay ... I went with a group of 8, one being a toddler. We started with pigs in a blanket, pork belly, calamari, and shrimp tempura. All were tasty but portion sizes were small. Calamari seemed really small sized as well. Drinks were good but very slow. We were told someone was training on the bar, but apps were out before drinks arrived. We asked for lemon a few times in a cocktail and it never came, we were told a sazerac cocktail was sold out but weren't told which ingredient was out and it seemed like standard ingredients for a bar to have. Steak frites was okay, it was hard to cut with the regular knife and needed more seasoning. Ribeye needed a lot of love in the seasoning department and also was very hard to cut without a steak knife. Frites was supposed to have special fries with it, though were identical to the kids meal fries my daughter got. Over all the food was just fine. Hot chicken sandwich was really just a buffalo chicken sandwich. Not something I'm eager to go back to, but I've had worse meals. The server was also just fine ... he didn't give us specials until we asked. We're pretty sure he forgot to ring in our shrimp tempura based on how long it came to come after the rest of our apps. When we were told a drink was out of stock there weren't other options suggested. He seemed busy but also not interested. The restaurant itself was very cool and game area seemed fun, though we didn't go play. Maybe it was just a bad day all around ...

West Creek NJ 5 Star Restaurant? What a great place. Walked in about 5:30 on Friday night, table for 2 (wait 30 mins, not horrible!) Ended up, upstairs at the bar, ended up having dinner at the bar. Great drinks, amazing food, and FAST service! Had the grilled oysters & pibecracker shrimp which both were fantastic. Then skirt steak, and cooper sharp cheese burger with no bun- and we shared side salad & grilled broccoli. Our meal was sensational- cooked to perfection, great flavor.... This might be our new fav place- def coming back.

Hollow Pine was such a refreshing departure from the usual Thai Table Restaurant Group concept. Instead of a seafood-focused menu, they offer a really diverse selection with something for everyone--great sandwiches, steaks, pastas, and creative appetizers. We started with the spicy salmon crispy rice, a chopped Caesar salad, and mozzarella sticks with vodka sauce. The Caesar salad was outstanding--freshly chopped, homemade dressing (we opted for no anchovies), all served over an oversized garlic bread crouton that was incredible. The spicy salmon crispy rice was fresh, flavorful, and had subtle hints of cilantro that really elevated it. For our entrées, we split the burger, which was solid but not the standout of the meal. My daughter absolutely devoured the gnocchi with pesto and artichokes, and my husband loved the pork chop with fingerling potatoes--it was perfectly cooked and full of flavor. We were too full for dessert, but everything on the menu sounded tempting for next time. The atmosphere is what really sets Hollow Pine apart. The interior feels like something you'd find in Vermont, with a warm, rustic ski lodge aesthetic that's both elegant and inviting. Outside, there's a standalone bar, live music, cornhole, and they even welcomed dogs on the patio, which was a huge bonus. This is such a fantastic addition to the area, and we'll absolutely be back. Highly recommend!

This was our first visit to this new restaurant and we weren't disappointed.. Looking at the decor, tv on walls, duckpin bowling, politeness, outdoor activities is just amazing... Food was excellent, Jake our server was friendly and informative.. We played an hour of Duckpin Bowling which everyone had a blast, bartenders Ken & Stephanie were awesome... Must Try and you will be hooked!! Ralph S.

The overall layout of this place was pretty nice. They had high top tables, large bar area, seating…read moreand standard seating. The decor was pretty cool a lot of older stuff. The menu looked pretty good, but I was only there for a quick stop in. So I only had an order of wings. The wings were very good. I would recommend them. I look forward to coming back to this place and trying a lot more stuff. The service was very pleasant. It is located in the same parking lot as a driving range and a miniature golf so it has a lot to offer overall if you're looking for something to do and then stopping in for something to eat or a drink. I will be trying this again for sure. Looking forward to making a new review with much more detail on the food

I want to warn others that Calloway's is charging a 3% "processing fee" on debit card transactions…read more It is important for customers to know that in New Jersey, surcharging debit cards is not permitted under the law. Check for yourself, a quick search on Gemini or Grok yields the same response "No, it is generally not legal for a NJ restaurant to charge a 3% fee on a debit card transaction, even if they label it as a "credit card" fee." When I questioned the manager about this, I was met with excuses rather than a resolution. Point is that management can help prevent this by adding the debit card fee everywhere the rule is posted. It is clear this practice is about padding the restaurant's bottom line rather than covering costs. While our server was wonderful and not at fault, the management's lack of transparency is unacceptable. I like Callaway's but don't like their management who take no responsibility in rectifying this simple problem.
