This is my favorite fast food restaurant! Sure it's all fried food, but much better quality than the typical fast food restaurants. The sauce station is great. Don't miss out on the D's dipping sauce. It's a Cajun creole sauce with a tiny bit of horseradish kick. I ordered the deluxe seafood platter. It came with 2 fish fillets, 2 crab cakes, shrimp and 2 hush puppies plus 2 sides. I chose mac 'n cheese and fried okra. The mac 'n cheese was good quality for fast food. It was thick and cheese. The fried okra was great too. The fried fish was good, very flakey and tender. The fried shrimp were tender and tasty. The crab cakes were my least favorite, mostly bread, but crab is expensive so not a surprise, however the presentation was great in an actual crab half-shell. It was a lot of food and I couldn't finish it. My daughter order the popcorn shrimp kids meal. It too was delicious. She ordered corn on the cob and fries for her sides. The corn cake wrapped in plastic wrap to keep it warm and moist. She said she couldn't taste the butter and could have used more. The fries were good, much better than the Golden Arches in my opinion. They have a VIP program that you can sign up for to earn points at your visits which can get you free food. We heard a lot of excitement in the community when they were building it and now we know why. It's good fast food!

I've been to this location many times, and every single time they get it right. My order is always correct, the food is never given to me old and stale, and they're always generous with the vinegar and tartar sauce. I always use the drive thru, however the inside does always look clean when I pass by. The workers have never given me any kind of unnecessary attitude which is a plus. I often order a standard 4 piece fish meal with fries and breadsticks and I've never been disappointed.

What is happening Captain D's?! Seriously! There's isn't any fish in your fish anymore! Just a slither of Cod incased in layers upon layers of breading! Gee wiz!

Do you ever get that late night snack craving for some fried chicken? No? Just me? Oh... okay…read more.. Well, that's what happened. Stopped by at 9pm for a little snack and went with the 3-Piece Tenders with their Honey-Buttered Biscuit. Instead of ordering regular tenders, I chose spicy with a side of Zesty Ranch dipping sauce. We also ordered a Original 2-Piece Dark with biscuit. I think this was my first experience with Church's Chicken. The drive-thru was empty the staff greeted us quickly and was patient as we made out final decisions. Our food was ready in by the time we got to the payment window and received our receipt. Kitchen looked clean and organized from my perspective. The Chicken was hot, crispy, and tender! The spicy tenders were a good medium spice level. I liked that the "spicy" wasn't the flavor but that it was spiced, if that makes sense. However, for both the tenders and the original chicken, the consensus was that the chicken was lacking flavor. The Honey-Buttered Biscuits were slightly sweet but not dessert sweet. It created a nice balance to the spicy and savory chicken. Overall a good experience!

I grew up in the deep south, where…read morechurches locations could be some of the sketchiest spots in the hood with parking lots filled with people hanging out and service nonexistent. However, the one consistent thing is they always have - hot cheap chicken. And that definitely includes this location. However the nice thing about this location is the service is on point even in the drive-through. Now I will credit what appears to be a family owned operation, and one that I had not witnessed in a churches franchise setting before. Definitely appreciate the attention to detail and the prompt service delivered by this ownership team, which appears to be a family affair. I have stopped in two or three times now and each time my entire time in the drive-through line didn't span more than 9 to 10 minutes max and that was because there was already one or two cars in front of me. Both of my orders were delivered hot fresh and most importantly, correct. They even threw in a bunch of extra hot sauce and honey, which was pretty impressive because in my neighborhood, you always had to beg for an extra packet and they would get an attitude about that. I would definitely say if you are in this stretch of Tanger outlets and looking for some cheap eats, you could do far worse by going somewhere else.

You could easily miss this hidden gem, tucked away on the corner beside a gas station. There are dine-in options, but most people seemed to be taking their food to go. It's the best quick to go option I've seen. They had my order ready in no time. I ordered an assortment of tacos: carne asada, birria, and fish tacos, plus a side of guacamole and chips. To top it all off, I added their homemade cheesecake casera with strawberry purée... and of course, a large agua de jamaica con limonada. The staff were some of the friendliest I've experienced in the area--must be because they're from Cali lol. My only suggestion would be to leave the sauces off the tacos for to-go orders, or explain that "all the way" means everything on them. By the time I got back to my hotel, the sauce had soaked through the tacos, so I missed that classic one-hand taco experience. Also... definitely add extra limes. Thankfully, those chips came to the rescue, and the flavors absolutely did not disappoint. Bottom line: it really did hit close to home. The flavors were on point, and the true winners of it all were the fish tacos and the cheesecake.

Extremely disappointing customer service after 10+ years as a customer…read more I placed an online order for about $50 worth of food. When I arrived, I was told their system had undercharged me by $2. No problem, I was happy to pay the difference. Instead of simply letting me pay the $2 and giving me the order I placed, they told me they had already made something different and that I could either take the wrong tacos or buy two additional tacos. I had to argue just to receive the order I had already placed and paid for. The issue started because their online system only allowed me to select one meat option for a 3-taco order. My wife is pregnant and specifically wanted three carne asada tacos, so I selected carne asada (with the $1 upcharge) and placed the order along with about $35 more in food. When I arrived, they had made tacos with random meats instead and suggested I just take them. After finally agreeing to fix it, they insisted I pay the difference but charged me $3 plus tax instead of the $2 they originally said. I questioned it, and immediately after charging me they admitted it actually was $2. By then I had already been overcharged and no one seemed concerned about fixing it. So to summarize: * Their system glitch caused the issue * I was willing to pay the difference immediately * I had to push just to receive the order I placed * They overcharged me anyway and didn't correct it All of this over $2. After more than a decade of supporting this place, the way this was handled left a really bad impression. The food has always been good, but the customer service during this interaction was extremely poor. I won't be back.

Came inside and it was busy. Didn't have to wait long. Only compliant was the fries got "too much" seasoning so they came across salty, but that was only on my order. The other ones were fine. As soon as I took a bite into a tender, I was sorely disappointed. The tenders are lightly breaded, rectangular, dry, salty, and tastes as if they were fried once, left out for a couple of hours and fried again. The way the chicken peels as you bite into it is... stiff. Not sure how else to explain it. I also got the 5 traditional wings in buffalo garlic blaze. The wings (and drumsticks) were saucy on the outside but dry inside. The buffalo flavor was strong, while the garlic was hidden. The ranch dipping sauce was standard. Zax sauce is similar to Canes. The service was okay- the person at the counter was waiting for us to order, there was no one behind us in line, and didn't seem impatient as we were figuring out what to get. All of the seating here are booth seating, which is interesting since you do get more privacy eating your meal alone or with your group. I don't think I would ever crave Zaxby's. Raising Canes and Popeyes are much better.

The restaurant was very clean, which I always appreciate. The food was delicious, and the pricing honestly surprised me--in a good way. For four people with drinks, our total came out to $62, which is significantly cheaper than many other burger spots these days. One of my kids ordered a kids cheeseburger meal, and it was a great size for a child. I ordered The Cheesy burger--two patties, three cheese slices, and the bun is flipped inside out. It's definitely unique, and if you're curious, just look at my photo because it speaks for itself. Another person in our group did a custom burger, and everyone agreed the burgers were filling and well-made. The fries were absolutely delicious, and the cook was super nice, which didn't go unnoticed. Now for the not-so-great part. The woman at the front counter who took our order was... not welcoming. No hello, no smile, and honestly she looked like she hated being there. The restaurant wasn't busy at all--we were the only customers--so it wasn't a stress or crowd issue. It felt more like a morale problem than anything else. Because of that, I'm not sure if I'd rush back solely due to the customer service, which is unfortunate because the food itself was really good. If the front-of-house experience matched the quality of the food, this place would be an easy repeat visit.

I ended up taking the potato back to the counter myself and asked for it to be remade. When it was brought back out, the gentleman who delivered it didn't say a word--no apology, no acknowledgment, nothing. What made it more frustrating is that the restaurant wasn't busy at all--we were one of only two tables there. About five minutes later, a pleasant crewmember brought my meal over on a tray, which is always a nice touch at a fast food place. Everything I ordered was exactly right. The Egg McMuffin was cooked properly, the hashbrowns were still hot, and the coffee arrived just the way I requested it with two cream and light ice. I even received a bonus sausage wrap with the hot salsa, which made the meal feel a little more generous than expected. It all came out fresh, accurate, and ready to enjoy.
