You don't receive consistent information when you call over the phone to inquire about what items they actually clean. It's just a terrible Customer Service experience when you waste your gas coming there only to find out you've been towed incorrect information over the phone. read more

Extremely poor customer service. I picked up my granddaughter's beautiful formal gown which was supposed to have been dry cleaned. From the time I stepped in the door without even knowing what I was there for the young blonde yelled at me we don't take wedding gowns even though they had classified it as a formal. Once they got to me I told them that the bottom of the gown was still dirty and showed them the inside of the gown which was also not cleaned. I asked for the manager who informed me of her service time of 14 years and that she was not going reclean my item because she had already spent too much time on a ten dollar item, and she had already put it in there $10,000 washing machine. Because of the poor servicing the bottom of the tulle is matted and some of the rhinestones on the dress have become discolored. I have been going to this dry cleaners for approximately 10 years, and never have had the poor quality of service that I received. read more

CAPRI cleaners be warned Westerville...Totally crying all the way home after The Owner screamed at me publicly and humiliated me for asking that the dress I payed to have pressed for my sister in laws wedding had more creases in it than when I dropped it off. This woman is a total gas lighter! If you complain she will rip you hard. Had to get other customers involved to help me because I was so scared and intimidated by her for asking that she repress my dress. Please don't be surprised when she is so ungrateful and unkind to you for expecting that the clothes you dropped off don't have wrinkles. Came up with every reason why she was not responsible for not being accountable to her profession. Seriously, I can't stop crying she was that horrible. She is very very difficult to work with please be warned and I should have read the reviews when looking for a place to have my clothes pressed that warned me that "she is always very difficult to work with." I am so sorry to all the other people who she has done this to as well! Please protect yourself and don't give her any money! She doesn't deserve your kindness, Westerville. I had summer clothes cleaned when I returned from Costa Rica this past January. I packed many of these same clothes for a recent trip to Phoenix AZ. I found that some of my clothes had shrunk. When I took these clothes to Capri Cleaners I talked with a woman who appeared to be an owner or have some other vested interest in that dry cleaners. I requested that all of my garments be dry cleaned instead of washed and dried. Capri messed up! They shrunk some of my clothes. I will not be going back. read more

Used services on 11/15/2011 I received a coupon from this place, I think in the valpak maybe. It was for 1.75 dry cleaning per item which is a really good deal. I took in some coats that had been in storage, a thin sports coat, and my girlfriends wool pea coat. Upon arriving I see that they call themselves the 1.99 cleaners (I then wondered about the quality), but decided since I had driven there with the items to give them a try. The service was okay, no one was really polite or talkative which is fine and they weren't rude. After picking the articles up and taking them home I realized, like many things in life - you get what you pay for. I could tell that out of three of my coats, one was cleaned decently ( the least dirty one). The other two, not-so-much. The sports jacket had an obvious stain on the front, which I tested - it came out easily with just a little water and rubbing ,but why mess up the material with rubbing, that's why I took it to the cleaners. My girlfriends jacket actually looked worse than before it was taken in as if it had been 'felted' making the coat look more fuzzy and worn, this is a bad thing, and usually occurs when moisture is added. From online information it looks to be under new management, maybe the people are better than before? From my experience the quality of cleaning is pretty bad if they cannot remove easy light stains that are right on the front of the coat and damage your items. No reason to complain to them, I wouldn't want them to touch my items again. read more

Took a suit jacket in due to a small stain on the shoulder and 2 days later got it back the same way. The kids working the counter said that it was nothing they can do with it and they would not give a refund if my money because he said that it was cleaned???? Being very upset and disappointed in the service, I took it home for my wife to clean and the stain came out with a simple magic eraser!!!! So I decided to give this place a second shot and I am glad I did. The customer service was better than last time. I dropped off my Northface and the total came to $2.51, the employee advised me that it would be done on Friday after 4, so about 2 days which is not bad for the price. This employee seemed a bit less depressed than the girl from my first review. When I went to pick up on Friday I encountered a cheerful and upbeat employee, this guy was real cool and complimented my jacket. I used this place since it opened - never again. Since new mgmt took over, service has nosedived. They quit same day service, and then stopped dry cleaning shirts (they said they can't press that many????).... I simply prefer good shirts dry cleaned - isn't that what they're supposed to do?!?!?!?! I tried to explain to the mgr my frustration, and she said "drop the attitude." I guess she isn't overly familiar with the concept of keeping long-term customers. I've used Capri cleaners services frequently, since becoming an employee a year ago. The first time I got my clothes dry cleaned and everytime since I've felt like my favourite clothes are brand new. My first time going out with a creased out fit I understood why our store literally takes in non stop flow of clothes! Don't ever take your clothes to this establishment, they are cheap but like everything else in life you get what you pay for. On May the 2nd 2017 I took over 65 dollars worth of clothes. when I go home and wear them the next day for work, they had an awful smell like chemicals and dirty. Like they just iron your items and bag them up. When I took my clothes back and ask to speak the this rude unprofessional individual name Jenn she refuse to pay me back my money. I walk out upset and she never even acknowledge my concern. They need to work on the quality of cleaning and fix their drive way and how to treat customers. The people are all generally friendly and easy to work with at the counter. This place is also the cheapest in town ($2.50 dry, $1.99 laundry), there's no doubt about that. But with that, come some drawbacks. From time to time, my dress shirts come back with the buttons chipped or broken, particularly around the collar. Pants have also had pocket buttons come very loose and had to be re-sewn a few times. They also outsource their cleaning, so when you drop your clothes off they throw it in a bag and send it out to be done, so they take two days to get your stuff back. Many other places will do same-day or have 24-hour service. I'm dealing with an issue right now where a brand-new shirt that I had never worn came back with red iron stains all over it from the outsource place and they tried to tell me it came in like that, which is ridiculous. I'll adjust this post based on how it gets resolved- there have been other similar issues as you can read on here. UPDATE: The owner has been very helpful and I'm waiting to get reimbursed by the outsourced laundry vendor. If all goes well, I'll update this review accordingly. Basically, good place with cheap prices if you can deal with the negatives that come along with it. read more

Stay Away!!!!!! I'm not one to post reviews but I feel it is necessary. I Had, yes had a beautiful blue and white dress, before Capri ruined it. When I arrived to pick up my dress, the young lady just handed it to me. I was shocked normally at other dry cleaners they are hung so the customer can look over their items. I took it upon myself to hang my garment, lift up the plastic ( with no help from the 3 people standing around), and there is blue bleeding spots on my dress. I only wore the dress once and it really didn't need dry cleaned but I'm going to a special event this weekend and wanted it freshen up. (There was also red spots). I called over the girl and she pretended not to see the red spots and acted as if the blue spot was nothing( no look of shock or embarrassment). The a young man came over because I had ask if they could try to fix the dress and I would need it the next day, on Thursday ( It is now 12:00pm on Wednesday). I was told no, today is Wednesday it will be ready on Friday. I explained I'm leaving on Thursday evening to go out of town and need the dress for my trip, once again I was told NO. I asked him how could they ruin a $200.00 dress then not try to fix it immediately. The young man told me "the more expensive cloths are the ones that bleeds" and the dress will be ready on Friday. He also added it's not their fault, it's the manufactures fault. I manage a medical office in Westerville, it would never cross my mind to tell my patient NO, especially when I've made the mistake. The correct thing to do would have been to take the dress, try to remove the staining and call me the next day to inform me if the dress was fixed or not. If it wasn't fixed then Apologize and asked where I purchased it so you can replace it. I have a big heavy, Japanese style blanket that I took to Capri Cleaners over a month ago. They have you pay for the dry cleaning up front - and for this blanket, I paid $15. About 2 weeks later, I receive a phone call from them that went to voicemail. Their voicemail said that there was a concern about cleaning the blanket due to a lot of lint on it. They asked that I call back to see if I still wanted it cleaned. So I called back and left a message that Yes, I still wanted the blanket cleaned. 3 weeks go by, and I don't hear anything from them, so I decided to go in. I lost my ticket, and explained to the person at the counter why I was there. He goes back to look for my blanket, then comes up with another guy and says that they don't have my blanket. I explained that yes, they do have my blanket, that I received a phone call from them about the lint. They go back and find the blanket and come back. The second guy explained that they were still waiting to hear from me on whether I wanted it cleaned since the lady doing it would not be able to remove the lint. I told him that I called back the same day they called me and left a message saying that I wanted it cleaned, and that I still wanted it cleaned. They said okay. A week later, I received a phone call from a woman saying that she cannot wash my blanket. apparently there is something on the blanket that would get on other clothing when washed together? If that was an issue, it should have been brought to my attention a month ago! I feel like they just didn't want to dry clean my blanket for me. A Half hour after posting this review, I received a call from the owner, Jen. She explained to me that she decided to reject my blanket due to not hearing from me. However, after seeing my review here, she realized that I had been in contact with one of her employees, and the message was never passed on to her. She's already spoken to the employees about the need to communicate, and she's going to wash my blanket for me for free. She said that blankets are washed separate from clothing, so she wasn't sure why her employee had told me over the phone that lint/whatever would get on other items. I'm so glad she called me, and I'll definitely be a customer for years to come! It's customer service like this that changed my 2 star review to 5 stars. Keep up the great work, Jen! read more

The stain came out but what difference does it make when I am now going to have to take my same clothes to another cleaner so that they come back with dry cleaner scent. A waste of money. They do not do dry-cleaning in house! I think this is important. The people at the counter just take your clothes and shove them into bags and tag them. The counter staff are teenagers who don't know anything about what your clothes need. I brought in a couple sweaters to be dry cleaned and they were confused why I was bringing a sweater. I pointed out spots on a couple items and was told "they will get to them"(they missed one). My biggest upset was how my sweaters were hanging on hangers when I picked them up. I have had pretty good service until today! I prepaid $55 for shirts and pants - I went to pick up today and they told me I had an "invoice change". Come to find out - I left an undershirt in one of my shirts. Instead of calling to let me know - they decided to not launder but Dry Clean a T shirt! The most expensive option - shady. I thanked them for the shirt and then the bald rude guy proceeded to demand $2.69 for the service. I informed him I just paid $55 and did not request this shirt to be cleaned. He said it didn't matter - I owe $2.69. I politely let him know he can keep the shirt (I got free at a hockey game and have 4 others like it). He didn't want the shirt and then lectured me that I need to check my shirts next time. Last I checked, when they take the garments - they check too. I impolitely let him know there will not be a next time. How does and honest mistake we both missed turn into them losing $150 a month of my business? Not too bright. Hello Swan? Recently I received a communication from "Jen" claiming to be a Mgr. Here is what that person wrote "For the future, please consider talking to a manager before posting a review; allow business to make the right thing before damaging their reputation." Not only do they demand payment for unauthorized work but also ego is so large she feels she can demand how a customer chooses to provide feedback. I am the consumer not your employee. I have been bringing my dry cleaning to Capri cleaners in Westerville on a regular basis for the past year and have always had really good service. They are efficient with getting customers in and out even when they are busy, and my clothes have always been completed when promised, looking good. Today the customer service went above and beyond. I brought in a couple of tablecloths with my sweaters and suits to see if they could be pressed. At this point, they do not typically handle these types of larger items. The gentleman assisting me was very polite and friendly about letting me know. Jenn, the owner, overheard the conversation and stepped in. She took the time to look at my tablecloths, talk with me about the services I was looking for, and found a way to help me. The service is great, the prices are outstanding, and today reinforced my already high opinion of the store. read more

This place is great! Fast, friendly, and affordable! We took our wedding clothes in that had sat in a garbage bag for over four years and still had cake on them (gross procrastinators, I know). We are happy with how everything turned out. I had my doubts when I read other reviews about Capri Cleaners, but things were not at all gloomy or unprofessional, as others had stated. I took in a cotton, U.S. flag to clean some water stains. The lady at the counter looked at it and had a negative reaction to cleaning it. Then, the three or so others standing around jumped on her reaction and "group-thinking", decided it couldn't be cleaned. I took the same flag down the street and that cleaner took the flag and cleaned it.....without complications. I would call Capri Cleaners lazy and unwilling....when most cleaners take pride in cleaning a U.S. flag. Many even doing so free of charge. Capri just lost my business. read more

You definitely get what you pay for!! I've been using this dry cleaner since they opened and always had great results. Unfortunately, the great results went out the window when I took in a couple of my favorite cashmere sweaters. I've had them cleaned there before with no incident, so this was a shocker. I picked them up and upon returning home realized there were two small holes in each sweater in exactly the same area. I brought them back in and while the owners were nice, of course it wasn't their fault. Pretty strange that they were damaged identically. I'm leary of taking anything there now. This dry cleaners is horrible! I went to take my shirt there in good confidence that it would be taken care of however It was damaged. When I tried to address the issue they told me that it was a manufactures issue and also told me that they don't have time to look through the items that they get to make sure that they will not damage them. This is unexceptable behavior from a business. The owner Jenn Litt was very hostile and defensive. All I wanted was a refund for the purchase price of the shirt and the dry cleaning service. At the end of the day the customer should be respected not treated as if they have no idea what they are talking about.
