I took 1 of my suites to this cleaners based on a recommendation as a test. upon arrival, I was assured that they will be able to clean my suit without the fur turning pink. About a week later, I returned to pick it up and it was absolutely perfect. In fact, it look like the day i bought it. Additionally, the price was very reasonable, it was half as much as I was quoted by another cleaners who didn't seem to exhibit the same confidence. I will now bring my other suit there as well. For those who prefer not to use quarters, be aware that the business will place a hold on your credit card if you choose that payment method. My daughter recently visited this location. She unknowingly had an object in her laundry and only…read morediscovered it after the cycle completed as she was removing her clothes from the machine. She went to her car and the owner came outside, tapped on her window and asked her to come inside. She obliged. Once they were in, he disrespected her by getting in her face and yelling at her saying how she broke the machine. Then demanded she pay $500 dollars to get the machine fixed. She then proceeded to tell him that she wasn't paying for anything, the machine was not broken, it only needed to be reset and that she does not have $500 to just give him on the spot. We do have a court system here! You don't just demand someone pay you money ob the spot! This isn't China! She was visibly upset and crying over the way he was treating her. She then went back to her car, called her boyfriend and told him what had happened (for context, she is black, her boyfriend is white and the owner of the laundromat is asian). She told him that she was not going back in there and that they were not drying their clothes in that facility. Once he got to the laundromat, he went inside and took their clothes out of the machine. The owner didn't say a word to him but screamed and yelled at my daughter like a fool! It kills me because they come over to this country thinking they can disrespect black people and get away with it! Apparently they can with the recent verdict! IYKYK! Boycott this business and all other asian businesses! Stop supporting those who do not value or care about us! Patronize your own! Support your own! When they hurt one of us, they hurt all of us! We left it in the dry-cleaning hanger bag and in a brand-new garment bag to travel by car. My husband took the shirt out at the hotel to wear and it had some weird dark stains on one cuff and the edge of the shirt. It was also covered in black lint which I had to lint roll off. He had no choice but to wear it. I took it back to Mimi's and they argued with me saying he got something on it because he wore it. I argued with the guy for 10 minutes. He went in back and took the stains out and said it was still my husband that must have got something on it. It could not happen there. And what about all the black lint that was all over it front and back?! They did not even offer to launder it and press it again. He just handed it back to me. I won't be going back there ever!
