Great service! I had a small emblem patch to be sewn on the sleeve of my navy-blue sport coat. I didn't think it would take too much to sew a simple patch. But the experience and expert tailoring really paid off for me. The tailor "opened" the sleeve so as not to sew the inner lining of my jacket to the patch. It was perfectly sewn in the same line/plane as my sleeve cuff when worn. The job was finished on-time and affordably. I can't recommend GM tailoring highly enough! read more

Great service. Went in to get a long bridesmaid dress hemmed and taken in. Took less than 10 minutes to get fitted, and it was ready when they said it would be (~3-4 weeks). I needed my duvet cover tailored smaller, and I had never been to a tailor before. The owner I presume was so kind, he made me feel so welcome and was able to do it day of. He let me take it home to see if it was small enough without even paying first. I needed it taken in some more and he did it the next day. All of this just cost me $17!! read more

I needed a new sport coat for the usual reasons -- conferences, occasions etc. -- and after not finding anything decent in stores, I ordered online. I knew I would need to have my purchase tailored, so did my research (i.e. Yelp) and GM seemed the best choice. I queried their prices for shortening sleeves and got a quick response saying $40; that seemed reasonable to me, so I brought it in. The proprietor is very kind, and I got the immediate impression that he's an expert. I can't say why -- just a feel. I had hoped the sleeves were going to be the only issue, though when I buttoned the jacket, he squinted his eyes a bit and said "a bit tight, no?" Sigh. But he spent a minute examining the jacket and figured there was enough material to let it out a bit, so I was happy to have him do so. Total time estimated for the work was ten days, though they could have done it sooner if I was in a rush (I wasn't). When I picked it back up, I couldn't have been happier with the work. I realized that the jacket had indeed been a bit tight, but no more! Sleeves were great too. All told, it was a job well done and well worth the $65. Nothing beats a good professional tailoring experience, and that's what GM offers! read more
