Can't actually give a full review since they don't comply to their posted hours. Sorry, lost me as a customer. Sat outside until 9:40am. There is a nice place next to Kroger on Schrock road, they were open on time...

Left side is the unaltered seam of jersey and right side is the jersey following the repair.

LA Cleaners - LA CLEANERS

We were warmly greeted at the door by an employee who took our two comforters and registered our names and contact information in their system. He was upfront about an additional charge for removing the cat hair from one of the comforters. The extra charge was expected due to the large quantity of cat hair on the comforter. I stopped in on Tuesday, Sept 23rd at 2PM. Please note that the receipts say to pick up the dry cleaning after 3PM but I was running errands in the area and checked in to see if the comforters were ready early. The employee working the front desk had some trouble finding one of the comforters but this was because it just finished in the dryer and hadn't made its way up to the front desk. The employee saved me an additional trip to pick up the comforters which was really appreciated. I paid for the services and was out the door in less than 10 minutes. I plan on bringing my dry cleaning to LA Cleaners in the future and strongly recommend them.

LA cleaners is pretty great. They have a very reliable door service to pickup and drop-off you dry…read morecleaning items, makes it super convenient...additionally the price is good too. Dress shirts are roughly $2.50 or so, you cant beat that with a stick! I had them do some sensitive items (things that couldn't be ruined or lost) for our wedding, and they did amazing. They were able to provide expedited service, I cant remember if it was same day, or next day, but it was about 30% more for that...considering the level of comfort I had in them, well worth the extra $$$

I heavily debated writing this review, as my goal isn't to affect Zorica's livelihood. However,…read moreafter several attempts to quietly resolve this situation without a response, I feel incredibly taken advantage of. For context, I have a BS in Apparel Design and professional experience in garment construction. This is important as I get into the quality of work I received. I was initially impressed by her glowing reviews. She's an incredibly nice person, and we got along well. I trusted her to deliver quality work. I brought in my wedding gown and rehearsal dress in early May 2026 for my July 25th wedding. My requests for my wedding gown were straightforward: remove the straps for a strapless look, take in the side seams and bust, and hem the length. I gave her plenty of time and space to work. After checking in once in early July, she contacted me saying my dresses were ready. I thought it was odd that there hadn't been a second fitting. When I arrived, I was disappointed to see the straps were still attached. When I reminded her they were supposed to be removed, she said, "Oh, I forgot! I need to write things down." I tried on the dress, and it was still too big. The bust cups sat higher than my actual bust, and thick, bulky darts created points sticking out on both sides. We were 1.5 weeks from leaving for our wedding. Because the dress was still too big, we decided the straps had to stay or the dress wouldn't stay up. I was disappointed, but had little choice. She offered to reposition the straps at center back so they wouldn't fall down. When I returned the following week, I was appalled. One strap was positioned 2" from the center back zipper, while the other was nearly 4" away. I noticed immediately while the dress was on the hanger. Worse, the straps weren't properly sewn between the garment layers. They were sloppily hand-tacked to the interior. When I pointed out the uneven positioning, she said, "Ohh, good catch!" I attempted to try it on, but she couldn't get the zipper up, so I couldn't assess the final fit. I asked her to fix the straps that afternoon. When I returned, another bride was there for her appointment, so I couldn't try it on. Once home, I inspected the construction and was appalled. The hem was pulling and puckering, the side seams were poking out, the bust cups sat above my bust, and the darts were incredibly bulky. Rather than taking in each layer individually, she had folded the heavy layers together. The darts were sewn in the wrong direction, toward center front rather than center back. The interior construction looked horrible. I started sobbing. When I texted Zorica about these issues, her response was, "I thought you were easy going." She then deflected responsibility, claiming the alterations I wanted weren't possible and blaming the dress's mass-produced construction. Being easygoing does not mean I should accept poor craftsmanship. Attached are photos of her work compared to the corrective work performed by a second seamstress, along with screenshots of our conversations. The difference is blatant. Zorica only accepts cash. I paid her $850 for both dresses before the work was completed. I received no formal receipt, only a text confirming the amount owed. I had saved for months to pay for my alterations. I have since reached out twice requesting a partial refund of $500, with no response. I believe this is reasonable considering I had to hire another seamstress to correct the work days before my wedding. Thankfully, the second seamstress did a wonderful job. Within two days, she completely transformed the interior construction, took in the side seams an additional inch, corrected the princess/bust seams, redid the darts, and made the dress actually FIT me. I didn't get my dress back until the Friday morning before my wedding. Everything Zorica claimed "couldn't be done" was accomplished by another seamstress in two days. My advice if you work with Zorica is to be firm about your expectations. Bring someone to your appointments, take photos, and document everything. I believe my easygoing nature was taken advantage of. I gave her the benefit of the doubt repeatedly, and when I questioned the quality of her work, she deflected rather than taking accountability. My wedding day was wonderful, but I never got the strapless look I had envisioned, and a part of that vision was lost. I genuinely liked Zorica as a person, but after spending $850, paying someone else to fix her work, and receiving no response to my attempts to resolve this privately, I feel other brides deserve to know about my experience.
