I had some cheap lightweight pants that were way too long on me, so I dropped them off here to be hemmed. I put them on in their changing room, and a nice lady pinned them for me. They were ready in a week & a half and cost just $20. I will absolutely use them again! read more

If I could give negative stars I would. They completely ruined my wedding dress you could visibly seen every seam they put into it and she took a seam ripper to the beadwork of my dress, within weeks my dress went from the dress of my dreams to a complete nightmare. The beadwork on my dress got ripped apart, there are visible threads where they hemmed the top, sleeves and belt, the boning in my dress was bent and pulled to the point the bodice doesn't even cover my chest now, the dress was a beautiful pure white when dropped off and when picked up was dingy and almost yellow, the buttons on the back cannot even be buttoned now because they do not line up and now only 90 days before my wedding im out the cost of these alterations and the price of purchasing a new dress so I have a gown to walk down the aisle in. Since I got great feedback from this review before from other people I would like to expand upon it. The European tailoring is great, the ladies are wonderful here and really take their time with altering your clothes. I recently just came back here because I did not want to have my wedding dress altered at the store I bought it from since they were charging more money for the alterations than what I paid for the dress itself. No joke people, don't ever fall for what the big names will tell you to buy or do after you've bought your dress. I just found out from the European tailor I bought stuff for my dress I didn't even need for my wedding day. I was more than happy to return it after finding out I was buying more than I needed for the big day. Saved some money which I desperately need now. In addition since the ladies here have known my mother for so many years they cut us a great deal on my dress and even offered me to bring in more of my business apparel to get hemmed as well. I'm more than grateful to have such a great relationship with these ladies through my mother and probably sister since we are both the same exact size in clothes and 7 years apart from one another. I am coming back in May for the another fitting plus more because I still have to finish the bustle part of my wedding dress. I also wanted to add that I came in during a very busy day yesterday since it's prom season and these ladies were very professional and managed to still work with me in between the prom ladies. They did a great job on my dress, the fit was perfect. They were very nice and professional. Their shop was clean and a comfortable setting with regular dressing rooms.They had my dress finished in a week, the price was a little on the high side compared to a few other shops but they are close to me, they did an amazing job and it was well worth it. This place is the BEST. I was in quite the pickle with a bridesmaid dress and needed it taken out SEVERAL sizes. She didn't bat an eye and said "okay, we will make it work." It took probably about 3 weeks or so and I paid about $60 for it which I thought was reasonable because she was basically making an entirely new dress. This place is AMAZING!!! I never write reviews but this story must be told. I was a bridesmaid for a friend of mine and all the dresses were back ordered due to covid so I got my dress 2 weeks before the wedding and it didn't fit. And I mean the side zipper (on the satin dress) would not close and there was a solid 6inches. We went to at least 4 different places and EVERYONE turned us away saying it was too tough of a project. We finally found European Tailoring-I'm almost in tears admitting defeat- and she says she'll take it and do her best. She got my dress done days before we agreed and it was FLAWLESS. You legitimately would not tell that she did any work to the dress. I honestly thought she forgot to do my dress and then as I put it in to try it on for kicks and gigs it zipped up PERFECTLY. I honestly thought she had given me the wrong dress because my dress would've never fit perfectly like that. I wish I could give them a higher review than a 5 because they do absolutely outstanding work and they are so nice in there!! I literally cannot say enough nice things about their shop! read more

Sue and the staff are absolutely amazing. She agreed to help me with my wedding dress 3 weeks before my wedding and in the middle of prom season! I was directed to Sue by my best friends because I wasn't satisfied with alterations by another trailer and she completely worked a miracle on my dress. I went from tears of panic to tears of joy. Had used this business for a few years mostly because it is close to my home. Was generally satisfied with results and considered them to be able to perform basic alterations until recently. Dropped off a $250 RLX Ralph Lauren golf vest, quarter zip with a RLX logo tag that was exposed at the top and behind the zipper which could be seen when slightly unzipped and hidden when stand up collar was fully zipped. Request was to put a full zipper in and reduce the circumference of the waist which could be accomplished at the same time with material cut away to accommodate the new zipper. Picked up vest on day it was to be done with new zipper and wast size reduced but logo had been discarded. New zipper and waist reduction were done as requested and fit was as expected. Inquired as to why logo had not been re-attached and owner said it could not be put back with new zipper which didn't make sense to me. Also told me her sister had done the work at another store location and she would see if they could find strip of material with logo on and re-attach. Later that day received call from owner informing me logo had been retrieved from trash, left vest for repair to be picked up in a week. I realize this is a trivial request but at same time wanted vest to be as close to original as had been purchased. When picked the following week, vest had logo strip shortened and poorly stitched around edges and had been sewn on the outside at top of the collar. Also appeared that a previous attempt to sew original length of logo strip lower on outside of zipper had been removed leaving noticeable stitching marks approx. 1 in. by 7 in. All in all it looked like a 3 year old had done the work. Asked the owner again about this logo and was told this was only way it could have been done and didn't know anything about subsequent stitching marks that I know we're not there originally. At this point I have three weeks and $30 invested in this botched work, decided to not make further issues about it other than leave with my garment and post this negative review. That being stated, I would strongly dissuade anyone from using this business for any alteration services. I will seek out another in an attempt to correct this shoddy workmanship as well as for any similar services I may need. read more

6/6/14: Be careful of this business. European Tailoring hemmed some drapes but didn't want to honor my Angie's list coupon. Finally, they conceded to take off the tax. Weird, but I didn't fight over it. Got home and looked at the drapes. All were fine, except one. There was a 3-4 inch hole in one of the panels that was obviously patched. I rushed to see if I could buy another panel, but will have to drive to Polaris later to see what's in stock. I went to the shop to talk to the owner and asked her why she failed to mention the patch work. She feigned ignorance and then finally said if I brought another panel in, she'd work on it for free. I told her I'd never use her business again; I didn't trust her and I didn't deal with dishonest people. I asked for a refund on the panel she destroyed, but she refused. read more

I had six pair of pants hemmed. I haven't tried them all on, but the quality looked fine. They were very nice. I went to pick up my pants about 8:20 am. Their sign said open, but their hours said open at 9:00 and the door was locked. I went back to my car, but someone came to the door and said she preferred not to have the door unlocked before hours. She let me in and gave me my pants. They were pressed and hung. Cost was $15 per pant, which was more than I expected, but I haven't ever had anything hemmed. read more
