If I could give this zero stars I would. This was one of the worst service experiences I've had in a long time. I dropped off my pants on Monday and was told they would be altered and ready by Thursday between 2:30 and close. The quote was $80, which is already outrageous just to get pants hemmed, but I agreed because I needed them for my graduation. I called at 2:30 on Thursday to say I was on my way. I got there at 3:05 and the shop was already closed. They close at 3. No heads-up, no courtesy call, no apology, no explanation, and not even a follow-up the next day. I was left scrambling before my graduation and had to throw something else together last minute. It honestly made me question if I even needed to get the pants altered at all because this whole situation was just horrible. What was the point of taking my name, phone number, and contact info if she wasn't going to use it? I never got a single call. Not even to confirm the pants were ready early. At this point I wouldn't be surprised if she forgot about the order completely. She showed no remorse and then had the nerve to try and charge more for expedited service, even though she knew my deadline from the start. That was enough for me. I didn't even go back to pick them up. I hated that it was this horrible because I really needed the help and trusted her to come through. If you have anything important coming up, do not go here. Mira was great to work with. The turnaround time for a bridesmaids dress was very quick - about a week and a half. Her prices were comparable to other shops for formal dress alternations in Columbus. I'd go back if I have another item to be altered! read more

Mira is an exceptional tailor. I take her a repertoire of outfits that I purchase from various design labels and she takes the time to listen & understand what I'm looking for in redesigning/altering the outfit. Mira uses her creativity to offer suggestions and her outstanding technical ability to help create our vision of the outfit that looks like it's ready for the runway, think of the tailors in the movie "Dior and I". It's a true testament to her ability and training with Europe's finest! Mira works long hours and tirelessly. She lives a long distance from her establishment and on the rare occasions when she is out with illness or emergency, it is unfortunate she cannot always post signs informing her customers (I do suggest calling before going). I had a few shirts and pairs of slacks altered here. Not too much to say- the work was done when she said it would be, and the quality of the work is superb!
