I'm a little frustrated. I dropped off three pants and 2 shirts on Thursday. The attendant that helped me originally said "Tuesday by 5pm." I asked if there was anyway to pick it up before Tuesday due to a presentation on Monday, and she said "Let me look." After a few seconds she said "I can have it ready by Saturday after 5pm, but it'll cost you 20% more." I said, "That's fine. So Saturday after 5pm?" To which she replied "Yes, Saturday after 5pm, and you'll receive an email with the details." I thanked her and left. Much to my surprise and frustration when I showed up at 4pm today, Saturday, you all were closed. You're not even open till "after 5pm" on Saturdays. I am very frustrated with this whole situation, and doubt I'll use your services again. I will see you Monday at 0800. read more

Awful experience. First time was great. Took the same thing back a second time and things where different. Now it needed sent off and was going to take weeks. Things where suppose to be cleaned and one item pressed. They pressed it all including the dirty. Never cleaned it. My receipt is not itemized. So I have no way of knows. Then the lady which is the manger. Did offer to clean my items however I needed them the next day. And she told me it was my fault Bcz I didn't pick them up when they where done. A few days before. read more

Never again. I stopped using these cleaners years ago because of their incessant and pushy calls and emails forcing their delivery service down my throat. Then I forgot how aggravating they were... When the Coronavirus hit they sent out what looked like an honest plea for extra business so they could keep their employees working. I was struck by the honesty so much so that I forwarded the idea of helping small businesses like this. I dropped off 5 pieces just to try and help out. Picked them up and was charged - without telling me the price or offering any explanation - over $70. Further inspection shows they increased their already exorbitant prices. These are standard sweaters and pants, and I only took them for cleaning to be polite. And then to charge over twice the normal rate? What a slap in the face. This place is exactly what's wrong with greed. Never again. read more

Ok. Sent a pair of my vintage look with white trim (bigger, creamy color thread) to get hem. Sounds easy right. Yeah. I thought so. Since I wanted to keep the look of my jeans that way from top to bottom because they are not cheap, I MADE SURE I let the girl at the store know that I want to keep the original hem, have the tailor stitch it back on once he/she shorten my jeans so I have my original look. Result: My original hem is GONE. ENDS of the thread hung out and there are multiple lines of thread....seriously? So unprofessional. What irritated me is, ok, original hem is gone, I can suck that up even I made sure I have her details about the way that my jeans hem BUT with those multi lines of ultra white threads on my dark jeans, with long ends hanging out? I can't even force myself to forget it and take them home like that. It made me so sad and disappointed. All other dry cleaners keep my original hem too. Not my first jeans that get hem, just saying. I had them take my jeans back and, if they can find my original hem, that will be a miracle, so hopefully they will find a creamy thread and a better tailor fix that hem for me. I'm praying they know how to do their job. I thought a kid hem my jeans or something. Update 7/25 (2 more stars given): one of the ladies at the corporate called me today (thanks Karen). They will have everything taken care of and still have original hem and if I'm still not satisfied, they will give me credits for the value of my jeans. Taking full responsibility which is a great, great customer service. Will update my review again when I get my jeans back. Update 7/30: Picked up my jeans yesterday. First time I try them on after they got....hemmed? Twice? Check out picture and tell me I'm not crazy. I think there's a miscommunication here between the girl put in my order and the tailor. I told her I wanted 30 1/2 inseam after hem, NOT just half an inch.. I Bought these jeans with 33" inseam. Those shoes I wear in the picture have 4 1/2 inches heel. Right, I still don't want my pants dragging on the ground just like when I bought them. The girl was friendly, but that doesn't do anything with my order. Didn't even ask how short I wanted to go for and I had to state it myself a couple times because I felt unsure if she knows how to put in details in order to communicate with the tailor. Yeah, I was right. But, I guess who cares? read more

New Albany Cleaners - Guess I can't take these jeans on my trip next week. Obviously, my request details didn't get to the tailor. Thanx - Sewing & Alterations Near Me - Columbus, Ohio

Wow, a small business that "gets" customer service. On top of that, the actual dry cleaning was great. I've never had an option to have my dress shirts folded to make my packing for business travel easier. Definitely the best dry cleaner I've ever used. My only complaint... because their equipment is not onsite, turnaround can be a few days. I wish they had an expedited service (ideally same day if dropped off by a certain time) since a few day turn can make cleaning tricky when you travel a lot. Update: After seeing my review, Brian at New Albany Cleaners reached out to me and explained to me that there IS same day and next day service! read more

The first time I visited NAC they asked me to go on yelp and leave a good review.. really? That kind of business plan made sure I gave them what they deserve. Any business that tries to manipulate their yelp review by offering free services for false words is not a place with which I wish to do business. I would not trust them with my gym socks or jock strap. read more

Love this place so much! The process was easy to drop off and Tiffany was awesome. I am waiting to pick up my piece and that's the only reason I gave it a 4star. I have a good feeling it's gonna be great due to that fact of the drop off service! read more

My husband and I went to pick up his dry cleaning which consisted of his military suit. The sign by the door says Free suit cleaning for veterans. Thank you for your service. My husband mentioned to the check out lady he was a vet and asked about the free cleaning. She began to tell him what he had was not a suit and that the offer was for November only and he should of mentioned it when he dropped off the suit. Two things wrong here. Apparently, she's not in the military and doesn't know what a military suit looks like and she didn't know it was still November. She began to call someone to see if she could offer a discount somehow. Needless to say she had an awful attitude the whole time. We will not be going here ever again. Don't offer a discount that you will not honor whether they be vets or not. read more

I'm a big fan of this cleaners I stop in there drop of a pair of white jeans an let me tell you they are white and they look amazing...I love the location and the customer service is amazing ..I live in Gahanna and I been there three times already ..you guys rock you will always get my business...god bless lynn read more

I've used this cleaning company three times and never will again. Each time I requested my dress shirts be boxed and they weren't. I was also informed I'd get notification emails when my clothes were ready for pickup and I was only inconsistently notified. They are expensive: for the price charged I'd expect they would actually do what I'd asked. Note that when requesting the shirts to be boxed it wasn't some passing comment easily missed: my account's default is to have the shirts boxed, I asked if the shirts were tagged for boxing, and the drop off person actively confirmed that the shirts would be boxed. I travel for work, so failure to box my shirts is as good as returning them dirty to me. read more

After trying a few dry cleaners and being severely disappointed we found New Albany Cleaners. We live in German Village and do their pick up and delivery. They always show up and are always on time! The clothes are clean and fresh. The lady on our route (I believe her name is Candace) goes above and beyond. If anything seems odd (like our screen door being locked) she calls our cell right away. She also is kind to our crazy fur baby who relentlessly barks at her. I really appreciate the great service! We will be customers for a long time to come!!!!!! read more

Whatever you do, do NOT give this place your email address. They will not remove you from the email "service" they provide. Also prices are not competitive. They will also badger you if they do not like your review. read more

Just picked up two suits and my dress from here. Wonderful customer service! My dress had a large stain from hair products that leaked in my suitcase which I made worse by trying to get out myself. There is now only a faint area that isn't noticeable except right up close! I plan on taking my wedding dress that's been sitting around since October to them for their cleaning and preservation. read more

Super friendly at check out! They know us by 1st names. We have tried other dry cleaners in the area. Best service hands down. Replaced buttons at no cost on men's dress shirt. Came to the door to greet me. Thankful for their local service! read more

While I have used dry cleaning services before - this company "stands-out"! The home pick-up/delivery is extremely reliable. I also find the quality of cleaning consistent each and every time. In addition, I recently had a pair of dress slacks repaired, and I was truly pleased with the price and result. Very happy you're in the New Albany neighborhood! read more

First time dry cleaning anything in my entire life and of course my garments get obliterated. I brought in two very expensive pieces; a Gucci shirt worth $600 and waxed denim jeans worth $500. I chose this place because they apparently had high reviews but it's easy to see that they do not know how to handle expensive clothing. The shirt was completely faded and they even had the nerve to try and sew up parts of the shirt that are meant to be distressed. As for the jeans all of the wax was taken off even when I warned them that the wax on the denim is very fragile. This means that they messed up one area and had to take the wax off the whole pants, completely devaluing the jeans. I am still waiting to see how they will handle my reimbursement but this will irrefutably be the last time I ever take anything here. read more
