My husband bought a brand new, expensive shirt, went directly to the dry cleaners to Mimi's Cleaners to have it laundered and pressed for a wedding we went to out of state. We left it in the dry-cleaning hanger bag and in a brand-new garment bag to travel by car. My husband took the shirt out at the hotel to wear and it had some weird dark stains on one cuff and the edge of the shirt. It was also covered in black lint which I had to lint roll off. He had no choice but to wear it. I took it back to Mimi's and they argued with me saying he got something on it because he wore it. I argued with the guy for 10 minutes. He went in back and took the stains out and said it was still my husband that must have got something on it. It could not happen there. And what about all the black lint that was all over it front and back?! They did not even offer to launder it and press it again. He just handed it back to me. My clothes looked like they had been laid down on top of each other, had creases I had to iron out. More lint than I'm used to as well. I've been going here since moving to Columbus at the end of November. At first, it was very good. This spring, I started finding small things; shirts missing a button, pants with a strange sheen on them. First couple of times, I let it slide. But it kept happening sporadically. THEN RECENTLY, they lost my clothes. Three shirts, three pants. I couldn't wait for a manager, so I went back the next day. I waited again for the manager. He said they would look through all the clothes and get back to me the following day. Nothing. Two days later, NOTHING. I finally went back a few days later, and they had found them. Great. AND THEY CHARGED ME FULL PRICE! No apology, no discount! Heck, they shouldn't have charged me at all for them as they were over a week late and I had to make 3 trips there. Shame on me for not saying anything, but if I have to tell them how to run a successful business, do I want to shop their anyway? I've just changed to Swan Cleaners, and we will see how it goes. read more

I came here to get dry cleaning done on my winter coat, which had a small food stain on it, and hadn't been cleaned in a while. My dry cleaning ended up being $13.38 (after taxes). It took I think 2-3 days for them to get it dry cleaned. I showed up exactly at 7 pm (closing time) to pick my coat up, and luckily the guy working there opened the door to let me in since he was still there working for a few more minutes. The only complaint I have is that the stain that was on my coat is still visible, which is kind of crazy to me, since I paid to get it cleaned and it's not a tough stain to take out. I had 2 brand new blouses pressed at Mimi's Cleaners. I made it perfectly clear that they did not need laundered, just pressed from where they were shipped from online. When I went to pick them up, I found I was charged $9.04 for pressing 2 items of clothing, that were both rung in as dresses not blouses. Way to take advantage of your customers! I've owned an $800 suit for over 6 years. This is the first time I've taken it to this dry cleaners. In the past 6 years I've worn it probably close to 100 times. Each time taken very well care of. The suit is in the same great condition as the day I bought it. And who wouldn't take such great care of a suit that cost you $800? It was an investment for work at a young age when I barley even had the money. Now that I've brought it here, after 6 years of great care, just 1 cleaning from these people has put 3 holes in the legs by the knees. I call mens warehouse, the people that sold me the suit, altered the suit in many places for me, and they tell me that in that location, the size of the holes, it's just not reparable. I now need a new $800 suit. So when I walk in to have the owner look at it and hopefully apologize and pay for the suit, he instead insists it wasn't them, insists on showing me their entire dry cleaning process, continues to insist it wasn't them, and that even though I've taken great care of the suit over the past 6 years that yes, over night I did take a knife to it and cut three holes in the knees so that I could blame him for it. Yup. Never going here again. The owner is unapologetically unhelpful in this super expensive mistake they made. Working to see what can be done here. Perhaps some form of insurance will cover it? Maybe small claims court? We will see. Lots of great reviews suggest they do a good job, at least when they do a good job. Go ahead and roll the dice and hope they don't make a mistake like other reviews suggest, cause they will NOT take responsibility.
