They have these new self service kiosks. Though they are neat it completely strips the appeal of this cleaner and totally changes the vibe. The old school interaction of being able to go in, talk about your garments, hand them off is no more. The small business mom and pop feel has been stripped completely now with the Columbus Dry Cleaning & Laundry Services franchise updating to no contact and current tech. Drop off experience went ok after I figured it out. When I returned the return kiosk froze and I had to get someone in the back to help and manually process the payment. Then go back and wait for the automatic vending of my clothes. Just not a fan but better than not having a dry cleaning option. Pricing was $42.59 after tax for a Jacket and a Suit Jacket. Hoping future experiences will be more seamless and I am sure I'll adjust to change but will miss the personal Ross Cleaners feel. read more

If I could give NO stars I would. They charged me $110 for someone else's cleaning. No one from Ross contacted me about this error and I had to contact them when I discovered the overpayment. Okay, I understand mistakes happen. However, they misplaced 5 items I dropped off two weeks earlier. After making 2 trips there to follow up on my missing items and no one being at the location, 4 of my 5 items were found on my third visit. A store employee made several calls and finally found the fifth item but made the insane suggestion that I could go to another location to pick it up!! My item was delivered to the drop off location later that afternoon where my Husband went to pick it up (visit number 4!!). I guess they think they did me a favor by discounting the charge for pressing the lost items. Well, I will do them a favor and never use their services again so they do not have to go to the trouble of overcharging me, thinking I won't notice and misplacing my items. read more

I'm concerned about them. I like the service particularly the automated system, but what happens if their automated system does not return all of your clothes. I had just 2 shirts and one pair of pants for cleaning. The system broke up my order into pants & 1 shirt together and the other shirt which was hand pressed by itself. When I went to retrieve my order for it said completed: I received my first part of pants and shirt but was missing the second shirt. The automated system went through the process of 'returning something' for my second shirt but the slot was empty. First, I called and reported my missing shirt, then I went to the store, and the office staff said it 'showed' delivered. I explained that the automated system went through the process, but nothing was delivered on my 2nd shirt. What bothers me is management is not calling me. That really bothers me. They can see me on their video for I gave them the timeframe plus they see it on my pickup time on the ticket. So now I'm concerned, what do you do when this automated system does NOT return all of your garments! AND, no one is there to aid you. That is a problem!!! Been in this 'hood for many many years in the same location. Staff is always happy and welcoming. That's nice. My shirts are always perfect , detailed nicely, and set on the hanger with care. Pricing is probably on the high side, but there are always ValPak coupons floating around. read more

Avoid this place!! They ruined my Jones of New York suit. I called them and they falsely claimed that it was defective when I brought it in. When that didn't work, they blamed it on the manufacturer. After multiple calls and added stress, they agreed to a store credit. I am not taking anymore of my clothes to a cleaners that refuses to stand behind their work. Ross Cleaners is right across the street from my house so for the convenience factor I've been living with their high prices. A few months ago a took in a dress with a hem falling out for repair. When I picked it up the hem had not been touched. I took it back in and they shrugged and agreed to do they repair they'd charged me for but didn't apologize for the convenience or confusion. A couple weeks ago I took in a white wool sweater. The sweater was in great condition but came back COVERED in navy lint and the wool was worn and shaggy. I noticed it before I even left the store. No explanation given, no apology. They just told me to try a pumice stone (that would only damage the integrity of the sweater more!). Frustrating and aggravating experience, now I have a damaged sweater that can't be replaced and will be looking for a new dry cleaner. read more

After a few recommendations with a warning that the prices were on the high side; I took my Suede coat in to be cleaned. There were coffee stains on the coat and although I was informed that the cleaning process might leave certain areas discolored- I signed their "disclaimer" and paid part of the $70.00 fee for the cleaning. I was told that the return may be delayed by 1 week but it actually took them 3 weeks to get my coat back- only to discover that the stains on the coat were not completely removed. For $70 I expected at the very least, an apology- not so much for the stains they couldn't get out but for the delay in getting the coat back, for not even giving me a phone call as promised when I went to pick up the coat the first time, and for not even offering a credit for my inconvenience and overpayment.
