Because they did a good job cleaning my clothing I'm giving them a 3. HOWEVER they are very EXPENSIVE, I will never go there again. First of all they don't have a price list and it's my fault I didn't stop there. But I figured how high could they be? My husband had them clean 2 items(suit pants and jacket) about a month ago and paid under $20. Anyways I dropped off 7 items, was told I would get a Text when done and the amount. I received a timely text stating " I have 4 orders for pick up." For further information text "order" which I did and the price was $117.95. I couldn't believe that was accurate. I had 2 sweaters, 2 dresses, 2 pairs of pants and one suit jacket. Anyway, when I went to pick up items and said I think there's a mistake, the lady said probably not. When I asked why so high and why not a price list I was told prices goes up all the time due to the materials needed and tariffs. I will not recommend this cleaners due to high price and no price list. I don't like surprises like that. read more

They don't worth a star. We came to pick up our laundry from washer at 8:30pm because the building was supposed to close at 9pm. The doors were locked. There was a girl and a kid inside who didn't want to unlock the door for me and she stood at the back door so I can't go in. I called their emergency line which was posted at the door, but no one answered. So I had to call the police to help me. Horrible experience. Don't waste your time there!! read more

This laundromat is ran by people who couldn't care less about how broke down and nasty their business is. I used the laundromat at the corner of Maine and Gould in Bexley and consistently there are problems with their machines, not to mention the dirtiness of the laundromat itself. If the machines don't put rust in your clothes, the dryers are broke down or you're not notified that one isn't working properly and it will get a little warm to start but then cool down long before your clothes are dry and I've had this happen multiple times. If there's not a problem with the washers or the dryers, as is the issue today, the change machines are both broke down and you can't get quarters. Consistently the management of this location show that they do not care about the quality of their own work. read more

Terrible. stay away!!!!! I took a leather Jacket here to be cleaned in March. They told me it had to be sent out and it may take as much as a month due to the pandemic. Fine. Fast forward to June when I am having To follow up with them repeatedly to check on my item only to be told they would check with the company they use and get back to me. Never got a call. Finally after spending yet another lunch break on the phone calling Swan cleaners, I am told my jacket must have been given to another customer with their cleaning back in March because the leather cleaning company says they sent it back to Swan but Swan didn't have it. What???!!! To clarify, this means my jacket was received back shortly after I had left it but I was never notified AND it was mid-sorted and given to another customer who kept it. To add insult to injury, after filing a claim for my jacket (because fine mistakes happen, apparently in multiples at Swan), and waiting weeks for any reply, I am eventually mailed a check for $100. This is mid July by this time. Four full months after taking my jacket in for cleaning. A Brooks Brothers leather jacket that I paid Swan $50 in advance to clean And retailed for $229. When asked why I wasn't given the value of my jacket and a refund for my cleaning. I am told it was decided by corporate based on the age of the garment Somehow, someone who never saw my jacket determined that my two year old Brooks Brothers leather jacket was only worth $50. Insulting. As some consolation prize, Stacey tells me "oh well we will give you $100 in free cleaning." Why would I ever bring you more of my things to devalue and mishandle? I will never "darken" this establishments door again. I suggest no one else who expects even DECENT treatment does either. read more

Went in to drop off a comforter for cleaning and none of the staff were wearing masks, despite the governor's mandate. When I asked the lady at the front desk their mask policy, she said she didn't feel like they needed to wear one. read more

Dryers are free but the washers cost 3.25! The dryers tend to be way too hot or they have no heat at all. Went there today and the change machine was out of order and the cashier had no quarters at the register! I believe that was the last straw for me. read more

I spent over 30 dollars to do my washing and went to use thier free dryers. Now more than half are out of order and have been that way for weeks. After a while a worker came out and started telling at me that i had to take my clothes out. I can only use 2 dryers. No where is that posted btw.., Well i was there first and the others will have to wait. As i have waited before, patiently. I refused and found later she or someone removed them. I will never bring one of my garments to be cleaned at this location or any Swan Cleaners again. I brought in several items to be cleaned, including an expensive wool/silk/cashmere blend Vince cardigan that was about 1-2 months old and only worn about 10 times. The rest of the items were returned in good condition, but the sweater was completely covered in pills and looked shaggy. The fibers of the sweater were thinned so that weave in the back has gapped and is somewhat see-through. I know there is wear and tear to be expected with any garment, but the degree of pilling and fiber thinning was completely out of proportion to anything I've ever seen. Even my husband deemed it unwearable. The manager of the store did take the sweater back and was able to de-pill some of it, but about 30% of the pills remain on the sweater. She said she could remove more of the pills, but the sweater would become even thinner. She agreed to refund the money I had paid to clean the sweater, but was borderline confrontational and rude in doing so. Some of her responses were, "Well, we're not going to buy your sweater from you," and "If you don't want your sweater to look different, don't ever clean it." I found the latter statement to be especially atrocious. I then called the corporate office and eventually spoke to the operations manager. She said that they did not feel the sweater was cleaned improperly and that dry cleaning a sweater was "the easiest thing in the world to do." I asked her how it was possible then that my sweater was returned to me in such bad condition. She said that she didn't have scientific answer for that, but she could send it out to be analyzed. However, since they felt it had been cleaned appropriately, they would not reimburse me the cost of the sweater. During the discussion, she was dismissive and audibly getting tired of dealing with me, despite the fact that I never raised my voice and remained polite through the conversation. In summary, it appears that regardless of what the analysis says, I am out $275 with a garment that I can now only wear to walk my dog. I've had good outcomes with other branches of Swan Cleaners in the past, but will never return to one again due to their customer service. It's bad enough that my sweater was damaged, but to add insult to injury, they treated me like a nuisance when I complained about it. If possible, I would rate 0 stars. read more

I've gone to this place numerous times since moving to the area... It was originally the only coin laundry I found without doing an internet search. The place is usually relatively clean, but the state of my laundry is usually hit-or-miss. Most of the time it just doesn't feel clean or detergent isn't washed out. The dryers are TERRIBLE. Every time I've gone at least half of the dryers run cold and don't dry anything, a few others don't even close or don't stay closed, and they typically turn themselves off somewhere between 8-10 minutes and after an hour the last time I was there, my laundry was still damp when I finally gave up and went home. You get what you pay for (nothing). There's no wifi and one vending machine that has overpriced pepsi products and that's about it for amenities. I have been there numerous times when their change machines weren't working. I've gone numerous times around 8am and had to wait an hour for my bank to open in order to get change because, for some reason, they don't have the quarters emptied out of the machines *before* they open to refill the change machines. The people who work there, when they can be bothered with the coin laundry side of their business, are usually pretty rude and when they don't bother having working quarter machines, they don't give change out of their cash registers either. Their parking lot holds about three cars in front and maybe five in the back of the building and getting out is pretty tricky. Their seating is ridiculously uncomfortable. I have taken homework in there to work on while doing laundry and the tables all wobble, the chairs are like mini-torture devices. I do not recommend unless you have no other option. I have my sights on some other places, so I'm hoping to never have to come back here again. read more
