Best and original Pizza! Been consuming for 45 years and ready for my next slice. Everything else rocks

Yay!! I finally got to try it!!! I'd heard that the Geneva Capo's was a religious experience. It had been closed for renovation, and there was also a passing of the torch from Dad to Son. Love that. Also, they now accept credit cards- woohoo! That was a challenge for me previously as I don't carry cash. Friends of mine turned me onto the Grinder which normally I'd be meh about- it was epic! The pizza- we ordered a white sausage/pepperoni with capicola and it was perfection!!! Wow! The location, just off Broadway, has indoor seating as well if you choose to dine in. I believe I met the owner while I was picking up, told him it was my first time at this location and he had such a happy demeanor and assured me I chose well and he hoped I'll be back! Extra bonus love for the super friendly- especially as he was multi tasking and they were busy! I feel both locations of Capo's are awesome, but this one is sincerely a gem. read more

What a great pizza place. Light dough, with a light crunchy crust. Fresh tomato sauce and melty gooey cheese. Very clean and very nice staff, a must try if you are in Geneva or playing sports at Spire. We will be back.....we live in Willoughby and would drive back out there to have dinner. Decent pizza. It was a lot more salty than we are used to, not sure if it was the pepperoni or the sauce. They were out of some pretty basic stuff for several menu items, so not sure what's going on, maybe they just had more business than usual. Would return, but would try the deep dish next time. read more

They were close to closing and still welcomed our order. Seriously large quantity of food and they were fairly quick about it. Pizza was very good, I really enjoyed the sauce and the meats were very good quality. Would definitely order here again. read more

Our family of four stopped by here on a visit to Geneva, all agreed "Best pizza I've ever had". Very friendly and personable owner and staff, despite being busy. You can tell it's the favorite of the locals, just by their comments when they stopped in to pick up to-go orders. Large pizza is huge! Salad was good also, tasted fresh. Only "complaint" was from my husband, expecting fresh mushrooms on his pie but they were canned. Pizza crust was like fresh baked, perfectly, chewy (on the inside) Italian bread with a slightly crispy shell. Highly recommend stopping in here but only if you like good authentic Italian style pizza! read more

Way too expensive, especially the sub sandwich. We live in a poor community where not too many people can afford $18.00 for a sandwich. Go to Luigi's for $10. read more

I think this place could seriously give every Chicago pizzeria a run for its money! Their deep dish sausage pizza is on par with any Chicago pizzeria like Anthony's South or even my favorite Giodarnos - in fact if they could put cheese in their crust and you closed your eyes you would be IN Giodarnos in Chicago it's that good. The staff is so nice! Didn't complain at all when we went from a pick up carryout order to us eating there bc our twins woke up from the nap we hoped would last a little longer. Wonderful by the bottle craft beer selection, sodas, desserts and yummy cheese sticks too! I loved calling ahead and having it done by the time we got there - we meant for carryout - but we will do it again next time to eat in on purpose as the wait is where kids go ballistic! Best pizza in Ashtabula county. Hands down. I know the family and they are great people! There are 3 locations: downtown Geneva, Geneva on the lake, and Ashtabula. Great authentic pizza! Nice chewy crust and delicious toppings for a great price. They have an extensive menu. Apps salads grinder sandwiches pizza pasta desert alcohol. You know the essentials. The downtown Geneva location is dine in or carry out. Geneva on the lake is by the slice. Not sure if you can buy full pizzas? Ashtabula location I haven't been to. I got a small white pizza with bacon and pineapple. It's REAL bacon! Chunks of bacon. Pizza had great flavor for having no sauce. I love white pizzas. My parents got a medium regular pizza with mushrooms and pepperoni. It was devoured. This is a must stop if you come to Ashtabula county! Come on down to Geneva on the lake, enjoy the strip, and enjoy fabulous pizza at one of the 3 locations! Do it! read more

In Geneva OH visiting the in-laws. They ordered pizza from Capo's. This was some pretty legit pizza. Lots of toppings, good cheese. And the most important hallmark of great pizza: whether or not you eat the crust...I ate the crust. read more

My family and I have tried many pizza restaurants between Ashtabula and Madison and by far Capo's has been the best. We will continue getting our pizza here. Only draw back is that they do not deliver and grub hub is not an option. read more

I am reviewing just the regular pizza on their extensive menu. I usually order the traditional sauce with a few toppings. If I order extra cheese, they give you EXTRA CHEESE! The sauce is very good, and I LOVE the crust! It's the best that I've ever had on a pizza! Capo's Pizza II is my favorite pizza place (for pizza only). Located in a Circle K parking lot, they are closed on Sundays, which is strange as I always thought Sundays would be a huge day for carryout pizza. Oh well! read more

Pizza traditional Neapolitan pie. Light crust. Recommend Mediterranean and Italian fries. I know pizza....so does Capo. Nice beer selection in bottles, also wine. Only reason for 4 stars, it was drafty. Great server. Will visit again. read more

I try to hit up Capo's whenever I'm in town. Their original Grinder is one of the tastiest things I have ever eaten!!! Their pizza is also very good but the Grinder... You just have to try it if you haven't yet!! I wish they could ship to those of us out of State, I would put their grandchildren through college with my orders. Capo's has been around since I was a kid, it is the first pizza I remember eating! There are a few more locations in/around the area but this one is my favorite. Even thought they remodeled a few years back to add seating, it still takes me back to walk in and inhale the aroma! read more

We vacation at GOTL every year and when we want pizza we get Capo's. The pizza is so good, I love how cheesy the pizza is and the crust is amazing. Prices are very respectable and service was top notch. Wish we had one in PGH!! read more

Top 3 best pizza that I have ever ate! From California to New York the meatball deep dish is not something to pass on. This beats chicago deep dish out the park. Great quality and exploding with flavors! Don't let the outside fool you this hole in the wall is the best pizza stop! read more

We tried to go here. Was cruising from the Mentor area. We got there at 8:02 pm and as we shut the car door, the waitress turned the sign a "dining room closed sign" out an hour before they even close. When we walked in we were greeted with a take out only greeting. I wasn't eating in the car. No one even apologized so we left. Don't plan on eating here unless you are prepared to come 2 hours early. Joeys Italian grille 10 minutes down the street is open late. read more

The real deal pizza in Geneva. Family owned and operated for decades. Very well kept and very clean. Pizza and sandwiches are all delicious. For my money the grinder sandwich is the best. Its the homemade dressing that really makes it and the crusty roll. Their pizza crust is fresh and chewy, which I like and the toppings are always fresh. Capos also makes deep dish and a long list of specialty pizzas. It's a do not miss place when in Geneva. read more

We were in town for a little getaway and had read the reviews so we checked Capos out. It was delicious! We had the provolone triangles and a deep dish pizza. Both were so good and the service was excellent. If you're in Geneva you should check this place out. read more

Excellent food and service as always! They always go above and beyond. My husband had spaghetti and meatballs with an extra meatball and extra extra sauce. I had a salad with their homemade dressing and the Guinea grinder. It was all exactly as ordered and delicious. You can't go wrong here. read more

Pizza was good. I like more garlic and a bit of spice to the pizza sauce. The dough was perfect and had a nice easy chew.

This place is awesome. I love the salads, and a simple pizza is very delicious. Service is always excellent. Parking could be a problem if they are busy, I think they share a lot with 7-11. Oh, I think they are closed on Mondays, which has been an inconvenience at times. read more

Best. Food. Ever. As a resident of Geneva I have gone to this restaurant since I was young. The Grinders are so good that describing them will not do them justice. You absolutely have to try them yourself. The pizza is amazing, the people are friendly every time you go. Family friendly, beautiful part of town with a lovely gazebo close by. read more
