My partner and I got the shrimp fries, a burger and a chicken sandwich. I'm assuming the place gets their business from the atmosphere and cute lounge area because the food was horrible. Everything was bland, shrimp just tasted like butter no seasoning, burger and chicken didn't taste like anything. My chicken sandwich was pretty much cold. The service was great, server was super attentive. The cocktails both tasted like nothing which we both found super weird since we've never had an issue like that anywhere before. Hopefully they get a new cook and bartender because the place has a lot of potential. read more

Decided to stop by and give this restaurant a try. We enjoyed the ambience and sat in the bar. They have a wall of beer with some really good choices. You basically put money on a card and it takes it off by the oz. The meatballs are awesome. The hog wings are great too. I enjoyed a prime rib sandwich which was delicious. My wife had penne in vodka sauce. Delicious and enough for three meals. The place is cool and the food is delicious! Worth your effort if in the area! Two thumbs up from me read more

I've been to this place several times but mostly at the bar - had decent food some items pretty good, but never had a reason to complain. Went to dine there for wife's birthday party with a party of 14.. entered the place at the time of the reservation and was told I had to wait for half the party in order to just be seated. Told hostess this makes no sense and I'm trying to get things situated with ordering some apps before my party gets there to cut into the time there. After asking a manager if I can be seated with my 3 kids she comes back and seats me and then tells me a server will be right there. 25 minutes go by as my party starts trickling in and not one time did a server come by and check on the table. After a few complaints server comes and says I'll bring waters out. 40 minutes until we got the server to the table to order apps. Server was rude as if she wasn't serving a big party - she would've got a $150 tip if she had basic service even. Waited and waited - food order wrong after repeating several times - I asked to go last on drink orders half of which didn't even come out, she adamantly said she was going to start with me. She confused the concept of "server" - I'm the $$ guy and I need time to decide on my drink since I spent most of my time trying to get service instead of reviewing the menu. Longer story short - wouldn't give my hard earned money to this place ever again - never even wrote a review before it was that bad. Still gave her 20% which is my minimum for horrible service - if girl had any sense she would've gotten herself double the tip - should've gave her advice for my trouble as her tip. The place could've had 14 people giving out a reference for it - now it lost 14 customers who will tell 14 people each. Bad business in my opinion when you don't train your staff and know your clientele. All and all I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone after this experience. I'm just giving cliff notes from the various interactions from hostess on, mostly my server. But can publish a book if I wanted to spend anymore time on this place. Food is considered good for some pallets, but it's too average for this experience in my opinion. Didn't even get itemized bill she just ran my card and I know for sure I was overcharged.... Conclusion - if you're a spender on a good dining experience go anywhere else if you want to enjoy a good time with a nice size party - they're likely to treat you better. Service is trash. Took more than 20 minutes for them to even come up to us to serve us and get our order in, and they didn't even acknowledge us

Very nice atmosphere, Inside great. Unique. Food was very good. Had the Hot Nashville chicken and Mom had the burger with sweet potatoe fries. Cool place met the owner very friendly. Will be back to try the Italian dinners. read more

Went to Capo and Co this past Friday night for dinner and it was wonderful. It was very crowded when we arrived around 6:30pm. We got a table right away though. The server came right over and introduced himself to us and asked if we wanted anything to drink. When we placed our orders he was very helpful with our selection. The food was wonderful and it tasted great. We are definitely planning on going back. Great place to eat and the Italian food was amazing. read more

I called early in the day to make a reservation for dinner and was instructed to call back as the person answering the phone could not assist me. I called back and spoke to someone, and requested a table near the band in order to hear the music. I was told that this was not a problem and the reservation was made. When my party arrived we were told we could not have a table where we could hear music and the hostess/manager was extremely rude and took no responsibility for this issue and essentially told me I was a liar despite the fact that I did have one 2 weeks ago in the area I requested. read more

Different name and updated design but the same old lack luster food. It gets one star for the bolognese dish and the waitress "Lisa" (would get 5 stars). All the owner of dtaliano delite did was change the name and look of the restaurant, however maybe he should have put some money into better food and drink. The salad lacked flavor and was served on a square flat plate. What happens to salad on a flat plate? The salad slides off! The "russet fries" seem like they were from a bag of "great value" frozen fries that more than half were one inch in size. The vodka and OJ aka "screwdriver" came with a lime and some kind of carbonation. Definitely not made by an experienced bartender. Would not ever go again or recommend it! read more

we have been here 3 times over the past 3 months. The food is excellent! The servers are attentive. Various beers and drinks always good.

Husband's chicken parm was pounded too thin because by the time it was crisp on the outside the chicken was saw dust. Noodles were mushy as well. I had linguine and clams which was cooked well. I would definitely give this place another try though. Menu was pretty large and all the plates that we saw being served looked appetizing! They also seemed to be well staffed which is rare these days! read more

I really want to like this place because the owners put a lot of money into it. On a positive note the food is very good and the portions are large. On a negative note it seems that they don't know what they want to be. Are they an moderate to upscale family eatery or are they a loud sports bar? If they are a sports bar attached to a restaurant that's fine but why do they need to blast music in the bar and ruin the otherwise nice ambiance in the dining area? Figure out what you want to be! As an aside the female bar manager is an obnoxious gossiper who talks trash on employees to patrons and other employees. I walked in one time hoping that the bartender I had the previous visit would be working but when I saw that she was behind the bar I did a U-Turn and right back out to my car. read more

My friends and I had dinner at Capo and Co. this past Tuesday, August 2, 2022. We had a great experience because of Kenzie K! Please let her know how much she was appreciated. The chicken strips and fries were so tasty...many thanks to the chef! Kenzie and the team at Capo made me look forward to my next visit! read more

My husband is in the food service industry, so I am extremely patient, understanding, and rarely complain. We had reservations and were seated immediately (a plus). We did not order appetizers, just our main meals. The wait for our food was over an hour (chicken fingers, 2 burgers, my salad, and 3 other sandwiches w/fries) The restaurant was not packed, but I do recognize it was a Saturday. All of the meals were brought out, except for my salad- the only cold meal. We looked at the runner, and she first looked at me like I didn't order anything and then asked what I ordered. I told her, and she brought my salad to me. It was so disappointing- it looked as though an entire bottle of dressing was poured over the entire plate. I had to ask for a separate plate to move the salad over to get it out of the swimming pool of dressing. When we told our server, nothing- no reaction. He just took the plate full of dressing and walked away. It seemed that the chicken fingers that were ordered were really good. I'd be hesitant to order this salad though. read more

Me and my mom go every once in a while and it's always delicious! If you go I recommend the fish taco and lemonade.

We made reservations. When we got there they had given them away. Strike one. I had chicken Marsala. Got one pound of pasta with some kind of sauce. Pasta stuck together. Strike two. Had three pieces of chicken. Two were tender and good. One had a bone in it. Ball. Overall it was good And others had. good meals mostly burgers. Would go back to try something else. read more

My experience with Capo and Co started Thursday when I called to make a reservation and was told they only took reservations for 6 or more. I was then told it shouldn't be a issue getting a table at 6pm. My girlfriend and I got in a little before 6 and it was a mess. There was a person in front of me waiting to pay for his take out for 20 minutes. Wasn't a good sign. We got our table and our server seemed very inexperienced. We ordered 2 mixed drinks and both came to our table as if they were just thrown together in a few seconds. We then got 2 Corona's and they both were skunked. Bugsy tater tots were our app; which were actually pretty tasty. Our burgers came and both were cooked to temperature we ordered. The only downside was they both seemed like very fatty pieces of beef. We unfortunately won't be back. My advice to Capo and Co is train your staff. Both FOG and BOH. read more

loved everything wings were awseome spicy turkey club delicious onion rings to die for staff and owner were pleasant and extremely helpful all and all great place to eat will definetly be back read more

I ordered take out from them. It is better to call in because their own website isn't built out to order correctly online. You can't choose type of bread or add protein to pasta. Penne alla vodka was on point. Carbonara is another story. I am not sure if a mistake was made or they thought I would never know but alfredo sauce and uncooked pancetta is definitely not carbonara. Garlic rolls are good. read more

This restaurant did not meet basic expectations. Reception was not inviting, the waitress and other employees were mostly huddled together talking or arguing, it was hard to get their attention. I had to leave my chair and walk across the mostly empty room to have my question answered. The waitress was dismissive to the point of rudeness. My drink from the bar was disappointing, the waitress did not make eye contact and did not ask if I or the others in my party needed anything (profit would improve if bar drinks were monitored and clients asked if they want another round) the menu is poorly laid out, the waitress appeared annoyed by questions and would not make suggestions, there may have been better choices hidden in the confusing menu layout. Although my party had hoped for a casual dinner and drinks we settled on hamburgers (after asking for suggestions and not getting any), mine was dry and mediocre (appeared to be a frozen patty of low quality) one drink (not for lack of trying), a dismissive, surly waitress and in-house grumbling or visiting among the staff. I would recommend fixing these issues quickly before even more customers are driven away. The decor is nice, good location, convenient parking are on the plus side. read more

Located in the plaza that once housed the former Italiano Delight restaurant, in Emmaus, PA. The decor is Prohibition Mobster, dining room and separate bar area. The front door even has a Speakeasy opening. They also have outdoor seating. On some weekends, I do believe they have live entertainment, from time to time. The menu mainly consists of bar food, like chicken wings, pizza, burgers, sandwiches and a few main dish items. The staff is very attentive, but the kitchen, being newly opened, is a tad slow. The food was average and the prices are in line with the post-pandemic cost increases. The bar area has self serve beer and wine taps, which is something newer to the area. Have noticed that since they opened, they are quite crowded. We tried it during a late lunch hour, when it was less crowded. We'll probably dine there again, but hoping with time, the food goes from average to amazing. It's still worth checking it out. read more

They have great food and excellent bar. They are new, so staff still working some kinks out. It will prove to be a local gem. Inside is completely renovated, soooo much nicer. I have eaten there a few times. I highly recommend the meatball sliders and the California wings. read more

Excellent service, even with a very large party. Fresh ingredients (OMG, those hamburgers moo!) large servings. Delicious, delicious, delicious! There's a beer wall with 20 beers on tap and 4 wines ... help yourself. One of our party ordered the meatball appetizers and you could have played baseball with those balls, they were so huge! Everything looked and smelled great. We had 20 people in our party, and the servers kept up with us all night, cheerfully, and even kept our separate checks straight. While prices go up everywhere, it's still possible to get a wonderful meal here without breaking the bank. The decor is beautiful, and the inside is surprisingly large. The cushioned seats are so much more comfortable than most restaurants, making it pleasant to sit and dine, not just eat and run. read more

Went there for the first time tonight. Food was delicious. Our waiter (Matthew) was outstanding! Definitely will be back!

Really wanted to support this place, but false advertising abounds. Texas toast=regular bread. Fish taco aloli=bland sauce. Sweet potato fries=under cooked with honey mustard??? Nothing lived up to the hype of the aestheticly pleasing atmosphere. Even the pour your own bar wall? 20 bucks for no mount than 32 oz and the wine wall was out of order. Disappointed. The end. read more

Went here for the first time and we were not disappointed. Nice crowd for a Wednesday evening but we were seated promptly and our server Mary was terrific. Large menu with many different selections and the prices were reasonable. I had special eggplant rotini with chicken parmigiana which was solid. My wife had the bolognese which was excellent and portion was enormous. I also had an old fashioned ($10) and my wife had a very generous pour Chardonnay ($9). They did a great remodel and have worked out any kinks from earlier reviews. We're glad to have such a nice establishment so close to home and we will definitely be back. Bar area and lounge areas very nice as well although we sat in restaurant side. read more

Had a great time and great meal with friends, Staff very friendly and restaurant is very cool. Emmaus needed this.

so my aunt took me her tonight for my birthday - she has been here a few times before and had enjoyed her experience - that was not case tonight ; from the start - cocktails - i ordered a double tequila and sprite on the side no ice !!! i received a 1/2 a single - it was corrected once we were able to get our capos attention - next we ordered 2 appetizers+ our entries!!!! salads came.first- followed 3minutes later by apps which the sauces were cold - then 4 minutes later by entrees!!? timing was completely off!!! we were both disappointed not sure we will be back here !! capo seemed more interested in a 4 top than a well paying 2top ! every table should be treated with the same consistency - we could of choose somewhere else & next time.we will!!! read more

My boyfriend and I love Capo! Staff always friendly even when super busy; decor and vibe elevated and very cool. The owner maintains a presence, last time in he made us an amazing margarhita pizza with loads of toppings, and served us, he's a genuinely nice person, and reportedly is great to his staff. Money is really no object for us when it comes to eating out; boyfriend constantly travels internationally and eats at best places; but we both LOVE Capo and Co. right on the main drag in Emmaus. Food always declicious, proper temperature, well presented, and consistent. Prices lower than expected. We like to eat at the bar if available wherever we eat, as Kevin finds best service close to staff; we have always received adequate attention, even when crazy busy like at happy hour (those $5 house cheese pizzas make the place hopping!) Never disappointed so far! Chicken parm, nachos, mediterranean wrap, linguine and clam sauce, the broccoli/sweet & spicey bacon bits appetizer, all incredibly tasty and satisfying. Did we have to wait a little when the place is bursting at the seams? Well, yes, of course! These are human beings with human abilities creating and serving wonderful food, and we are grateful for their willingness to give us a great eating experience. We will be back! read more
