I was somewhat expecting dense, oily, boring fries, but these were very crisp and somehow didn't feel too greasy as far as fries goes. Almost seemed like an injustice for it to be served with ketchup as it was too good for it. Lastly, the tart was a great way to end the meal without it being too much. Loved the crust. The tart shell tasted really good and went well with the filling, which had a lighter consistency than pudding. So you should understand that we were devastated by the news that the Frank's location closest to our house was totally destroyed by fire recently. That would be the 1915 Mangum Rd. location. It is my understanding from employees at neighboring businesses that they plan to reopen, at least temporarily, in a vacant building on a lot that is adjacent to the burned building. I have not checked that for any factual accuracy, so take it with a grain of salt, as it were. Meanwhile, we will drive the extra miles to one of the other locations.
