I didn't want to use a chain as many of them have gone downhill in the last decade or so I looked for a local joint and found WPNT. I ordered online for pickup and it was a seamless process. The interior is a nice blast from the past kind of pizza and sports bar. With plenty of TVs and food options, I'd definitely watch a game here. Staff were friendly and welcoming upon entry and my order was done to perfection. Now for the goods: I ordered pizza and wings and was surprised at how good the prices were as well as the quality of toppings. For the 90s kids that grew up watching A Goofy Movie, This is the delicious, extra cheesy pizza that Max and his friends were talking about! The dough is very good and soft, we got the hand tossed and even after sitting in the oven the next day it didn't turn to rubber or brick like the chain crust. The lemon pepper and asian chili wings were also delicious, a good size and a great deal overall! The buffalo wings were good they were breaded so they got soggy fast because there was so much sauce but nonetheless they were good. In fact, I dare to say it's better. They now have a Sunday brunch menu which is amazing! Waffles, wings, eggs, chops, steaks, etc. But the borracho soup & barbacoa tacos are my faves. Yes they've got mimosas, but palomas (my fave) on special as well. During this whole Corona mess, their quality & service hasn't nudged. Still running daily specials. I've ordered pizza, wings, even drinks to go & it's just the same as if you're dining in. Food hot & fresh. Not luke warm, skimpy on portions, drinks watered down like other places I've tried. It's not the best. The wings are pretty decent though. So last night we tried the pizza. They don't put a lot of sauce. The pizza has really good flavor. The crust and bread have a very distinct different flavor. Not the best pizza and wings also not the worst. Kind of like middle of the road or middle of the mall pizza and wings. Service is great. I ordered some lemon pepper wings and fries. The fries were perfect. But my wings were like...soggy. You know, the kind that when you bite into them, they immediately stick to your teeth? Like no crispy skin or anything. So I ate one and that was it. Our server was nice, but she never asked if the wings were ok, if I needed a box or anything. And I didn't want anything after that so it was what it was. The drink I had though, was pretty strong and I appreciated that.
