It was ok, nothing special really. I probably won't order again. I'm disappointed they didn't send chili sauce for the SiuMai. But most of all, the food was just okay so it's not worth paying extra for delivery since they're not on DashPass.

    Our left over broccoli beef

Stopped by on our way to Big Bear and to say it was the biggest disappointment in Chinese food yet! The menu was overwhelming with over 100 items on the menu. We started off with Dumplings, fried shrimp, and pot stickers. The dumplings were watery and tasteless, the fried shrimp was more breading than shrimp, and the potstickers were also flavorless. Family ordered broccoli beef, teriyaki chicken, chicken curry and steak. The chicken curry was very chewy and tasted like rubber. The chicken teriyaki was flavorless and teriyaki sauce only made it 5% better, the beef and broccoli was maybe the most somewhat decent plate, but the fried rice was a disgrace. We left most of our food on the plates due to how inedible it was. Paid close to $200 to leave just as hungry as when we arrived. Poor excuse of a "Chinese Restaurant". I would worry less about offering 100 different items and worry more about perfecting the food featured on the walls. Will never step foot here again.

So we are on our way home from Vegas and we had been craving and planning to go get soup dumplings all weekend long but never made it. On the way home, we look up to see if we can find any places that might sell them and we find Canton. It was about 8:15 PM and we knew we were not going to get there until about 8:35 so we called and asked if they would stay open and they said "no problem". They never rushed us out either. First, we knew this was not your typical Chinese restaurant when we noticed the two guys at the next table eating a hamburger and sharing a plate of fried rice. We knew exactly what we wanted so we were able to order pretty quickly. Thanks to Yelp!, we saw that Sunday's special was shrimp and walnut sauce, which is one of our favorites and so we ordered that and it came out quickly as an appetizer. Our meal was a variety of appetizers [yeah, I get it; we got the meal as the appetizer and the appetizer as our meal]. But the Dim Sum states that it takes about 15 minutes while the shrimp and walnut came out quickly. We ordered a couple of pork shumai, one steamed shrimp dumpling, crab Rangoon and of course the soup or "juicy" dumplings. So the question is "how good was the Dim Sum". Well I live in the San Gabriel Valley so I can say that I have had better but we were all very happy with our food. In fact, everyone in our group said that we have to come by on our trips to Vegas more often.

There is like a smell that hit you once you walk in and the bathroom is not clean and smell so bad . The food was bland to be honest . The egg drop soup doesn't taste like egg drop soup more like a chicken noodle soup . The Singapore noodles taste bland and to much curry flavor that was it . The drinks was good I give that for that instagrams look . I would get the egg rolls they was good and fresh. The service was nice but the food wasn't. Had to give it a second try and I was still disappointed i mean for the folks here that have nothing I'm sure it's good to them . I know Chinese food and this is not the spot .

We sat empty for a while..

This was the first visit at Canton Restaurant. I have to say, the owner is very friendly and likes to make sure you're taken care of (kind of). But, it doesn't help they only had one waitress and she looked overwhelmed. After a while, we sat without a refill for quite some time. The owner was walking around chatting with regulars rather than help the waitress. Finally I got the attention of our waitress and finally got refills. The food was very tasty and has the authentic flavor I was looking for. The only problem is the chicken chop suey had WAY too many bean sprouts. It was so much that I was almost choking on every bite. Portion sizes are generous as well. We will return because the quality of food and I believe their lack of help is due to Covid. Canton Restaurant has the potential for four stars with a little help. Other than that, I fully recommend this amazing restaurant if you love the taste of real Chinese flavor.

Not an ideal place to eat. We were desperate and totally forgot the better area of Barstow at the outlets.

Best hot and sour soup in town. The restaurant can use a good cleaning so we get our food to go.

The broth was full of MSG and I was extremely disappointed. The iced coffee was incredibly bitter and gave a bad taste for hours after. Over $100 dollars for gross food and small portions. Service was lazy. It took 30 minutes to reheat the prepackaged slop and they didn't even bring the food 20 feet to us. Chopsticks were weak, and the lady up front had a hard time listening to my order and questions. Ambiance was cheap. Dollar store artwork all over and inexpensive chairs, plastic spoons, and paper plates. Very crammed at the front with $35 labubu kid toys and they don't even have a soda serving machine. This place is a waste of your money and I would highly recommend finding a decent place to take your business. Thank you for ruining my Valentine's Day dinner, Ate8 Noodle House.

This isn't one of those fancy fusion places trying to reinvent American-Chinese food -- it's pure, classic comfort, done right. Got the orange shrimp (the star of the menu, obviously) and it was perfect: plump, juicy shrimp tossed in that iconic sweet-tangy sauce, with just the right amount of crisp on the outside. We got the stir-fried beef noodles, egg rolls, pot stickers, and the fried buns with condensed milk, and every dish was on point. The egg rolls were crispy and filled just right, and the pot stickers were juicy with that perfect sear on the bottom. Beef potstickers: Appealing looking but awkward to eat and seemed prepared from frozen. The meat was a little roll floating in the middle of the thick wonton wrapper. Pan fried on one side, a bit rubbery. Shredded Cucumber salad with garlic flavor was good with decent fresh cucumber. Scallion pancakes. Greasy. Unable to detect any scallion or onion flavor so I opened it. Tiny specs of what had to be those dried chives or green onion flakes. Scant amount. This is a simple, cheap fix for a usually delightful side order: Just chop up some fresh green onions and throw them in there. Easier on the oil & these would've been pretty good. Wouldn't order this unless they revamp this simple app. Distracting banging around of pots and pants in background. I guess it was pot washing time. Several customers ordered the dim sum and maybe that's the way to go. It's a no go for me.
