New homeowner here and was not happy with the condition the previous owner left the bins (gross!). Jason came out today after just booking two days ago. They look like brand new, smell fresh and clean. I will be using this service to keep them sanitized and fresh since I store in garage. Thanks again! Highly recommend. read more

Despite only using my trash, compost, and recycling bins for only 2 years mysterious gunk has managed to find it's way in the bins causing a gross odor. For awhile I was using a hose and bleach trying to clean it up myself but things would still be stuck to the bottom (it also wasnt a pleasant job). One day while walking the dog I saw a neighbor getting their trash bins cleaned by Canology! I googled them immediately and signed up for the service. The first service date was 3 weeks out so I called Canology to see if it could be done any sooner but they mentioned that they only reach certain regions during specific times of the month. Fast forward to today where I received my first Canology service. My bins came back sparkly clean on the inside (the outside not so much) and came back citrusy fresh. My only feedback is that their email was a bit misleading and I thought their services included taking up to 2 bags of trash. That's not the case they're saying you can have up to two bags of bagged trash in your trash bin and they will still clean your bin and put the trash back (if its more than that I assume they reschedule your appt and charge you the reschedule fee). read more

The person came and did a great job! I am very pleased with this service. I will be a returning customer... read more

My trash bins were filthy, so I decided to give them a try, especially since they offer a half off coupon for first timers. It was so easy to book online! They send a reminder email ahead of time to remind you to keep your bins out. Then, day of, there's even a link to track to see where they are! So, you can get a pretty good idea of when they'll be cleaning your cans. They are really able to get the entire can pretty clean using their truck which you wouldn't be able to do yourself. I like to clean things myself, so when I pay someone to do it for me, I like to know that they're doing a very thorough job (more than I could do!). Afterwards, they put a little tag on them to let you know they've been cleaned, but really, I could already tell by looking at them! And they smelled nice, too! I'm likely going to sign up for their subscription service. read more

This is a really cool concept. I've tried cleaning garbage cans on my own and it was a disaster. canology arrived when they said they would, they were done so fast and super clean. The road wasn't even dirty. Cost wise was fair too especially since all three of our cans were a mess! read more

Real happy with the service! Had all 3 of my cans cleaned to check out the service (nice "first time" coupon too). Great communication and provided a reasonable window for the time of cleaning. All cans sparkled after, including the compost bin. Highly recommend and will definitely use again! read more

I used Canology for a one time cleaning for our 3 cans and I was very pleased with their service! Cans looked and smelled like NEW! We compost so the green bin can get really smelly. I scheduled it online and when I received the confirmation I saw that it was too far out so I called in. The customer service rep, I think Aaron, was very polite and helpful. He was able to squeeze me in for an extra fee to come sooner. I understand the change of route can be inconvenient so I appreciate their flexibility! I plan to subscribe to their monthly service plan! read more

I really appreciate to have the bins cleaned and smelled great at very reasonable price. They communicate very well and keep me informed. I am so happy to have the excellent services. Can't beat the good deal!! read more

If you want clean garbage cans call Canology. I kept putting if off but finally tried their services through a special rate for 3 cans. What a deal and what service. Excellent communication and follow up as my service date approached. Canology showed up on schedule and did their thing. I ran out there as soon as the truck left. The cans were immaculate and had a nice clean fragrance. No more stinky dirty cans. At least for the time being. I highly recommend this business and service. Great job. Now to figure out how many times I need my stinky cans cleaned to perfection. Thanks Canology read more

Love this service!!! I got it for my mother who was occupying herself each month washing out her filthy trash cans because the smell coming from her compost bin was just so gross. I saw an ad on Facebook and it caught my attention. I went to their website which was so clear and easy to navigate. I made an appointment for bi-yearly (they offer one time or multiple recurring options) cleaning. The prices are super affordable and reasonable. I got a reminder through email confirming my appointment time and day ( you can pick the day after your trash day - which is what I did so that the cans are empty. Cans are super clean, smelling great and it's fast and easy all you do is leave your cans out the day of your appointment! Check out my pics for proof! Highly recommend them !!!!! read more

I used them for our HOA Cans 2x per year for 3 years with great results. I recently moved to Oakland Hills and the cans provided by the previous homeowner were disgusting and Waste Management wouldn't provide new cans. Canology driver was onsite for 15 mins and cleaned three cans. All are spotless for $44. read more

Our Cans were disgusting! They were stinky and I am sure attracting unwanted pest and odors. Here are some before and after pics. I recommend this service! They did a great job! read more

We've been using Canology's service for quite a few months now. They are always on time and very thorough. The cans are spotless and deodorized. They have different service plans so you can decide how often you want them to come and clean and how many cans you want cleaned. You just make sure your cans are out before 8am the day after your trash pick up and that's it. No more garbage smell. No maggots and flies from the compost garbage can in the hot summer months. It's fantastic. read more

Thank you for thinking of this business! I am no longer afraid to open our cans or worry they'll stink up the garage and attract little insects or little critters. Love the service and customer service. read more

An amazing service that never fails. Every month I look forward to the day that I come home from work to find my garbage and recycling bins sparkling clean and deodorized. I love the fact that I consistently get a reminder to leave my bins out on trash/recycling day so that they can be cleaned each month. The driver shows up on-time and does a fantastic job. The office/administrative staff are polite and efficient and ensure that the experience is a good one each time. I've been a longtime customer and highly recommend this service! read more

Just had our green bin for kitchen and yard waste cleaned for first time and results are amazing!!! They look brand new and, as others have said, ours had been quite disgusting looking! Fabulous job, Canology! You're performing a valuable service! read more

Our trash, recycling, and yard waste bins were disgusting. Canology cleaned them up and made them look like new. They removed all odor and grime. Canology made obtaining the service and setting up the appointment very easy. They had a good promotion going on as well, and it was very reasonably priced. They provided reminders and updates up to and on the day of service. All I had to do was bring the bins out in the morning and they took it from there. I would highly recommend this service for those who think their bins might need to be cleaned out. read more

I got a postcard about their service and tried it out today. It's awesome. I just pulled the gross bins outside in the morning, and voila, it comes back very clean. I have the grossest bin to compare (before and after). I will definitely use them again. read more

First time today. What a pleasure. A friendly professional, who took an extra five minutes to wait because our lawn had just been mowed and the can filled. Took us a bit of time to empty it but he was very gracious and the results are outstanding. I had occasionally hosed my cans out before, but it wasn't a very good job I was doing. This is just a different matter entirely. I giot the postcard and I'm glad I responded. Now we'll do it regularly. Summer is coming! read more

Honestly a no-brainer. For years our cans have stunk - bad. Esp the compost one. I would spray them down and occasionally even get in there with soap to try and clean them. I was able to get them better but still not totally effective, it would not last and it wasn't a fun process. Then I found Canology and honestly its the best decision. They have a slick process with online ordering, phone call and SMS reminders, and flexible options (monthly, bi-monthly, etc). I do quarterly and that works for me. Prob would be nice to have it monthly but I can live with a little stink simply because its sooooo much less than it was before. Its cost effective with great service and great customer service. I would highly, highly recommend. read more

They said the completed the cleaning when they didn't. I was a first time customer. When they called they said they'd have their driver come again. He did (have it on camera) - and again did nothing. I'm getting a refund and I'm bummed because of all the great reviews on here. read more

I didn't even know this service existed, but I saw someone mention it on FB. Booked them on a Friday and came the next day. They kept me updated, with 3 emails regarding their arrival and tracking. I came home to spotless trash cans that smell like lemons! I tried pouring bleach before this and definitely did not work. I will definitely use them again! read more

So happy this service exists. I am super happy with the results. They were so thorough and tackled my green bin-- which smelled like rotting vomit even when it was closed. I feel for the guy who cleaned my bins as he was really getting in there, but he did an amazing job. He didn't know I was peeking outside my 2nd story window like a creeper, but I saw him get all the nooks and crannies of my bins and even run the green bin through a second time. Company was very communicative-- reminded me the day before to leave the bins out. Messaged me the morning of to tell me when they'd be by to clean the bins. Arrived totally on time. Also messaged me to let me know it was done! I'm really impressed. read more

This couldn't have been a better interaction and service. The company communicated via the requested mediums, made clear what they needed and when and did the work exactly as they said they would. The cans look better, smell better, and they even got all that annoying stuff that was stuck to the bottoms of the cans. I would 100% recommend and use again. read more

Horrible company! These idiots keep going to my mailing address rather than my residence to provide service when obviously there are no cans there!!!! What's worse is that no one will call me back and they don't have customer service available on the weekends when the services are being provided. Shameful!!!! read more

I've seen ads for Canology before and even got a flyer a while back. I thought it was a great idea, but never signed up. Last month I saw one of their trucks leaving my neighborhood as I was going in and decided to look into it again. Our cans smelled and looked dirty. I decided on the quarterly plan and just had our first service a few days ago. They look new and smell better. So happy that I finally decided to get this service! Great communication for service and once it was complete. read more

Someone on Nextdoor had recommended Canology a couple months ago.... How did I not know that this service had existed before then? I've had the same garbage cans for the 4 years that I've been here and who knows how long they were here before me. I've never once cleaned them, even though I think about it on a regular basis. It just seemed like a gross task that never made it to the top of the to-do list. Finally last month I signed up for a cleaning, since I was having construction done that didn't get completed on time I was able to move my appointment to this month. The first cleaning just happened today. The website says that if your cans are really gross that they might not be able to get everything and it might need a second cleaning. I definitely thought that was going to happen with mine. Not only did they get EVERYTHING, these cans look almost new. I was so impressed when I got home and they were sitting there looking so clean and fresh. I am so happy with this service and will be using it again when the cans need cleaning. I sure won't be putting this task off now since it's so easy to make an appointment. Thanks again for this amazing and very needed service. I couldn't be happier with the results! read more

Great service. Cans are clean now ! and easy to set up -glad I got it done - quick and efficient

Yay! I'm so happy to have had this service! Our cans wee disgusting and had.never been cleaned. The communication leading up to today's service was excellent and thorough. The process itself took only minutes but the results are outstanding. Jason was our service guy today - he did an excellent job. Thanks! read more

This was five star service. "Seamless" from the first email to the date of service. Excellent communication. Arrived in a window of time the day of my service, which was the day following my garbage pickup. Perfect. When I arrived home I found my 3 cans at my curb tagged by Canology and sparking clean, inside and out. I could go on & on with raves. So very happy I took the jump on this type of service. Very, very reasonable in cost and they gave a 50% discount on my first service. Wish everybody gave great service like these folks. read more

Hands down impressed! This was my first service with them. I found their post-it note on one of my cans and actually went on Yelp to see if this company was legit. I am so glad I contacted them. I was floored how clean all of my 3 bins were. No smell! They provide reminders the day before, the day of and after completing the service. I enrolled in their quarterly plan to keep my bins nice and clean. Their pricing is super affordable and totally worth it instead of having me to clean my cans. eek! Try them out! read more

I love my semi-annual visit from Canology when my trash, recycling and compost (especially the compost!) bins get a quick but thorough bath to wash away the accumulated food juices, soda spills, spiderwebs, and general funk. It's a weird pleasure to be able to move your garbage cans with confidence that the handle, lid, and wheels won't leave something gross on your hands or clothes. Totally worth the reasonable price, and you set it and forget it with their recurring service. They are great about reminding you with email and text about upcoming appointments, and their customer service is on point. I definitely recommend this unexpectedly pleasant life solution! read more

My trash cans were terrible. Mold growing out the trash can, flies living in the green bin. The thought of cleaning them left the stench of puke in my throat. But due to a really well placed facebook ad, I found Canology. This last week they came to my house in Livermore and cleaned all three cans. I expected an 80% job- lets be honest, the cans were a disaster. What they did was a perfect job. The cans are clean inside and out. Even the caked on tree sap is starting to peel off. Thank you Canology. You do a much needed service in a perfect way. I'm a customer for life! read more

After Years of baked on grime and slime my Garbage Can's are like NEW, spotless and they finally smell good! Way to go Canology! Honestly I have been out front trying to clean them with a hose and this service does a far better job than I could have accomplished. We will be back for service! -MK read more

My cans were stinky! The cat food cans, even rinsed, were creating a smell in the recycle bin and the garbage and green waste were equally bad. I opted for the monthly service. Loved the fact that the service could be ordered completely online. Got the schedule via email and just added a reminder to my calendar, but also receive their reminder the day before service. I would suggest the website change the title of the bi-monthly service- I wasn't sure if that meant twice a month, or every other month! The service leaves my cans sparkling clean and non-stinky. Very important when you store them in the garage, which is attached to the house! read more

Canology is a great company. It is so nice to have our cans cleaned!! I used to try to do it myself, but it never really worked and then I hurt myself doing it. And they are so professional, never a bother - always remind us the day before they are coming. Leave it to a pro, they have all the up-to-date equipment and great attitudes too. read more
