An amazing service that never fails. Every month I look forward to the day that I come home from work to find my garbage and recycling bins sparkling clean and deodorized. Honestly a no-brainer. For years our cans have stunk - bad. Esp the compost one. I would spray them down and occasionally even get in there with soap to try and clean them. I was able to get them better but still not totally effective, it would not last and it wasn't a fun process. Then I found Canology and honestly its the best decision. They have a slick process with online ordering, phone call and SMS reminders, and flexible options (monthly, bi-monthly, etc). I do quarterly and that works for me. Prob would be nice to have it monthly but I can live with a little stink simply because its sooooo much less than it was before. Its cost effective with great service and great customer service. Horrible company! These idiots keep going to my mailing address rather than my residence to provide service when obviously there are no cans there!!!! What's worse is that no one will call me back and they don't have customer service available on the weekends when the services are being provided. Shameful!!!! read more

First time today. What a pleasure. A friendly professional, who took an extra five minutes to wait because our lawn had just been mowed and the can filled. Took us a bit of time to empty it but he was very gracious and the results are outstanding. I had occasionally hosed my cans out before, but it wasn't a very good job I was doing. So happy this service exists. I am super happy with the results. They were so thorough and tackled my green bin-- which smelled like rotting vomit even when it was closed. I feel for the guy who cleaned my bins as he was really getting in there, but he did an amazing job. He didn't know I was peeking outside my 2nd story window like a creeper, but I saw him get all the nooks and crannies of my bins and even run the green bin through a second time. Someone on Nextdoor had recommended Canology a couple months ago.... How did I not know that this service had existed before then? I've had the same garbage cans for the 4 years that I've been here and who knows how long they were here before me. I've never once cleaned them, even though I think about it on a regular basis. It just seemed like a gross task that never made it to the top of the to-do list. Finally last month I signed up for a cleaning, since I was having construction done that didn't get completed on time I was able to move my appointment to this month. The first cleaning just happened today. The website says that if your cans are really gross that they might not be able to get everything and it might need a second cleaning. I definitely thought that was going to happen with mine. Not only did they get EVERYTHING, these cans look almost new. My cans were stinky! The cat food cans, even rinsed, were creating a smell in the recycle bin and the garbage and green waste were equally bad. I opted for the monthly service. Loved the fact that the service could be ordered completely online. Got the schedule via email and just added a reminder to my calendar, but also receive their reminder the day before service. I would suggest the website change the title of the bi-monthly service- I wasn't sure if that meant twice a month, or every other month! The service leaves my cans sparkling clean and non-stinky. Quality of cleaning two cans = 5 stars Outstanding Quality of communication = 2 stars Our first notice of their planned arrival came 22 hours before their planned arrival. Their advertisement reads that they come the day after garbage pickup. Well, they came the day OF pickup and the recycling bin was still full. We tried to call the night before when we retrieved the text after 6PM. Unfortunately, the text message doesn't receive a reply. I left a voice mail, but don't know if it was received. At 7:12ish AM , Jason wrote that he was coming soon. He did and did a great job with two cans. I have looked into my emails to see if I missed any earlier notices of their arrival and haven't found one. So, we have two sparkling clean cans for the price of three. However, we did benefit from the introductory bargain price, so I can't complain too much. We are not calling for a reschedule because that is a $10 fee. read more
