What an AMAZING service! Our compost bin was *disgusting*, so bad that I couldn't even consider cleaning it on my own, what with the depth and all the goopy stinky nooks and crannies. I liked having clean garbage can no complaints there. But the back office is a mess. They promise you a reminder, I was on a once a quarter plan so a reminder to leave you cans out for cleaning is needed, but I did not always get a reminder, the boss called and blamed someone else. Then I got a text message at midnight and an automated phone call at 7:45 am. After which I sent this message "you called my home @ 7:45 am this morning. That is flat out unacceptable. Cancel my service, take me off your email list, and do not call my phone number any more." I don't think I could have been any clearer. I got another phone call from the boss blaming, you guessed it, someone else. To which I did not respond. Today they charged my credit card for this service which I cancelled when i said "you called my home @ 7:45 am this morning. That is flat out unacceptable. Cancel my service, take me off your email list, and do not call my phone number any more." As nice as it is to have clean garbage cans, I want it to be hassle free. I expect to get promised email reminders, and not to get woken up by midnight texts or 7:45 am phone calls. When I cancelled I meant it. MIND BLOWN!! I always hated cleaning our cans and after a couple years (and some seriously gross stuff) we just stopped. I hate to admit it but I don't think we had cleaned our cans for 3+ years - yuck.....and just like that I saw a Canology truck driving down the road, i looked them up online and was floored by their prices - it was an easy decision and the best $35 I EVER SPENT! We use our green can heavily and it gets absolutely disgusting! Additionally, we have dogs, so our regular garbage can gets pretty nasty too with poop bags, etc. I have cleaned them myself in the past, but I used a lot of water and a lot of time, and still didn't get them that clean. Seriously worth it for me. I ordered the service after months of wondering if I even needed it. I first looked up if this service even existed several months ago when we bought a house. The garbage cans from the previous owners were dirty and with caked on gunk. I was curious so I checked out the webpage and saw that a one-time cleaning was pretty reasonable and wanted to try it out. I love this service. My cans started the day a disgusting, putrid mess and ended the day pristine. Gone are all the spiders and cobwebs. Gone are the remnants of compostables and my daughter's diaper pale from months ago. And all the messy residue goes on the truck and gets hauled away too. All for less than $35. I received a BOGO promo offer through email. It was pay $15 for one can and get a second can cleaned for free. I signed up and paid for the service. Two days later the owner emailed me and said that offer was not meant to be sent to me and it was sent by error. It was only supposed to be for new customers and not old customers such as myself. I last had my cans cleaned from them in 2018. I understand an error may have been made but just as if you saw an item in a store priced wrong they would legally have to sell it to me at that price. In today's world businesses live and die by their customer service. It would have been very easy for him to honor the offer but instead and decided to refund me my money. While the cleaning service on the cans is good the customer service is bad. He could have gotten 3-4 more customers off of my recommendation but instead he chose to lose a customer. The right thing to do would be to honor the offer that was sent and I paid for even if it was sent by error. read more

Tried this service at the recommendation of my sister in law and it seriously works. My garbage can in particular was really stinky and I called Livermore waste to trade it out and they swapped it for an even more disgusting garbage can than we had before. My husband and I even tried bleaching it out, but the smell still persisted and it's a cumbersome and hard item to clean. I was grossed out especially after using my green waste can for food scraps (of which I seem to have a bunch) and when the weather get hot, it stinks and draws bugs. But, that is part of recycling although I wash out the cans which go into the blue bin. Anyway, I received a notice on my empty garbage can of Jason's service and thought - wow - I have trouble getting to the bottom of the can to clean it myself then I am pouring filthy water either onto my lawn or my driveway and then have to clean that up -- this service takes gross garbage cans, cleans them, takes the mess away with them, disinfects the cans then leaves a nice clean product with a lemons scent. Somehow, I never thought how badly this bothered me before I had this service. (Maybe I am neurotic...??? ya think) but I do love the service and the provider!
