Atmosphere: 5/5 vintage entryway and cozy atmosphere. Got a parking spot right across from the restaurant Food: 5/5 Always the pleasant experience in cane rosso. I have my favorite in each section of the menu. For this visit, we were here for Saturday brunch so we got the "literally everything" pizza from its brunch menu, vodka pasta, and capra salad. everything was savory and fresh. I love Cane Rosso's pizza crust. Just the perfect texture for pizza, slightly chewy and toasty! Pasta was cooked perfectly and the sauce blended so well. Salad was crisp, and collaboration of refreshingly tarty/pleasantly sweet flavor. I definitely would come back for another brunch! Service: 5/5 Friendly servers and fast service. Price is reasonable. read more

Food is tasty and area is quite cute. Plenty of parking. Service was a bit slow on the day we went, which was a Friday.

What just happened? I understand being busy but we tried to call to pick up a pizza and were put on hold for over 20 minutes. Even tried calling in from other phone. Picked a different pizza place instead. We used to be huge fans of cane but we've had multiple bad experiences now. What's up with y'all at the moment? read more

This place has the most delicious pizza, and check out the garlic bread too! I went on 5/4, and they were celebrating Star Wars Day in style! A fantastic special on the Roni One pizzas, and an additional discount if you came in costume! There were tons of adults and kids in costume, and they were streaming the Star Wars movies -it's just a great place. This was the Carrollton site, but I have been to some of the other locations, same delicious pizza. read more

After being offered to seat at the bar, 2 other couple came and orders taken before us. The server or the bartender didn't even offered to take an order for drinks, or served water. Terrible service. We left very upset. read more

This place was a disappointment. The pizza flavor was awesome. I use to eat at the Fort Worth location a lot. The crust was always flaky and had the right consistency. This pizza dough was extremely chewy at this location. It wasn't as bad when it was popping hot but when it became warm it was like chewing gum. I had a side of Caesar salad. The serving size was about a 6-8oz bowl. There was also a lot of bugs flying around my pizza and drink the entire time. I had to fan my pizza while I wasn't eating. I won't be returning to this location. read more

Met a friend here for dinner on Saturday night, location is set amongst other retail shops and restaurants as well as having a gazebo for live music so there's lots to do Atmosphere is great, casual with and open area pizza oven and outside seating too. Pizzas were being served left and right We started with the rosemary focaccia - there is easily enough served for 4 people and we were only two. The cheese dip served with it has a honey jalapeno drizzle which is delicious We then split the Tribeca salad - once again a portion that could easily serve two For an entree I had the Baked Penne Bolo with one optional meatball. My issue with baked penne anytime I've ordered it is it had no flavor BUT not the case here. The Penne was flavorful and came with a dollop of ricotta cheese to add an additional creaminess to the marinara. The optional meatball I ordered was excellent. No doubt I will return. Highly recommend reservations as many people had to wait without one! ENJOY! read more

Heard rave reviews + ordered for delivery. 4 solid stars if we're rating the pizza alone. Crust has a satisfying chewy crunch and the flavors are well balanced. I recommend y'all stick to the pie menu, I will likely try again and order nothing but the pizza. So, why 3 stars? Disappointed in the pasta dish, I've had better at the OG and Cheesecake Factory. The appetizer tasted like stale Sonic mozzarella sticks. read more

Honey Bastard. This pizza was good, but if you have a sensitive stomach to savory things with an afterburn, you might want to try asking for the Honey on the side? It was good, and a must try, but sadly this is not for me and I'll get more traditional options next time. This place has a lot of options not coming found at Neapolitan places. The parking out front is convenient. Fun place and I'm glad I came here. read more

One of the top 10 pizza restaurants in Austin. Service: The ordering process is typically very easy and fast unless they are incredibly busy which does happen often, so be sure to not go during a crazy busy time. Food/beverages: Their pizza is super good and your traditional Neapolitan style. We were in a group so we had a good amount of different pizzas and all of them were superb. Great selection of wine and beer as well. If you are in this area, it is worth checking this place out read more

This location always hits the mark! It's in a super fun and walkable area with lots of other restaurants, bars, and a large brewery right behind it. We always have quick service here. We recently went for happy hour and it was surprisingly not busy yet. We were in and out within 40 minutes. We've never had a bad pizza here. They have the menu separated by red and white sauce pizzas. Though if you like the sound of one type but want a different sauce, they'll allow you to swap them! read more

Solid but not mind-blowing. Same way I feel about the one in Deep Ellum. Appetizer burrata was good. Appetizer meatballs were also good, but I can make better at home, and the sauce was too sweet for me. The bread served with burrata and meatballs was just grilled pizza dough. I would actually like the bread to be something else. I can get enough pizza dough when I order my pizza. Here Comes Treble pizza - sausage, garlic broccoli rabe, red pepper, fresh mozzarella. FANTASTIC. The crust held up perfectly to these ingredients, which were fresh, delicious, and perfectly balanced. Zoli pizza - soppressata, sausage, tomato sauce, mozzarella. Good ingredients, but waaaayy too floppy and soggy, which has always been my complaint about some of the Cane Rosso pizzas. It can be Neapolitan style while still being able to be held in your hand/eaten bite-to-bite without falling apart all over your plate. And it doesn't help that all the pizzas with soppressata have really large and chewy pieces. Fusilli alla vodka - sausage, vodka sauce, roasted red peppers, broccoli rabe, soppressata crispies. This was fine, but sausage and broccoli rabe is a classic pasta combo for a reason and it does not need peppers or soppressata and it most definitely does not need a tomato-based sauce. Salad - awesome assemblage of greens, multicolored grape tomatoes, onion, light dressing. Loved this. Service was pretty good. Really attentive and lovely overall, but there were stretches when she disappeared. Granted, we lingered for a long time, and probably took up half her station for half the night, but I think we tipped accordingly so hopefully it all evened out. Ambiance is fine for what it is and I felt comfortable all night so I can't complain. Drinks were not weak, but still overpriced for the amount. So. Good things and not as good things. But I would still eat here (or the downtown location) again no problem. It's a solid choice. read more

I ordered this pizza for curbside pick up. My friend went to pick it up for us. She said give us 15 minutes. I told him that he left about 20 minutes later??? Men!!! We ordered 2 honey bastard pizzas. When he brought them in we had to reheat them in the oven because they weren't warm anymore. That was not their fault that was his!! It was enough pizza for me. Very thin crust which I loved. Spicy from the habanero & sweet from the maple. My friend said this is a little pizza for 20.00?? I thought it was a little over priced but I Lao thought it was totally worth it. read more

Yum. Just yum. I could eat a hot honey bastard everyday and be a happy person. Also, $2 mimosas at brunch. That's just bananas!

I don't know how they stay in business. Their pizza is just okay. Service is fine and ambiance is cool but I don't get. It's probably just me but having eaten there once, I never have the thought, "I want to go back". read more

Stopped by for lunch with a friend. Despite being VERY busy we were seated immediately and taken care of from start to finish with no lapse in service. We started with the spinach dip, it was hot and tasty. She ordered the Straight Fire and said it was really good, I went with what I always get and ordered the arugula and prosciutto- so good. The prosciutto is thin and delicious, the arugula is fresh and has a bright lemon thing going on. I always say I'm going to venture out and try something new, but why would I when this one is just perfect and I know it is always going to be delicious. read more

One of our favorite wood fire pizza place! Great place for a large family gathering. Service was really nice and fast even when we had 10+ people. We hosted my sons graduation dinner here this past weekend and it was so good!! Kelsey was wonderful! She made the planning process so easy with a Family style meal, and they were so accommodating with the types of appetizers and pizzas they offered us! The graduation was not nearly as long as we thought it would be, and we needed to adjust our timeline, and even though they were extremely busy, they were so gracious to our family and sat us early and brought us appetizers until they could get our meals to us! If you've been through graduation season, then all the moms out, there know how stressful organizing these things can be, and I am eternally grateful to Cane Rosso for making this an unforgettable experience!! The food was wonderful and everyone took something home I think! Thank you!! read more

Service was not the best. Server didnt really check on us. This was definitely a server issue because the tables in other sections that were sat after we ordered, got their food before we did. I am gluten free. I had a pizza. This was the second time I have come to this establishment. The first time the pizza was so good! This time with was ok. I even ordered the exact same pizza type. The service was fine. We got everything we ordered. No one really checked on us, which is ok. It probably saved us money because I might have ordered another glass of wine. Ambiance is the reason I am writing. So we actually made a dinner reservation over the phone. I know. Not very common these days. Most do it online. My husband and I haven't been on a date in a LONG time. He even indicated on phone that this was the reason for dinner. We got there and were quickly sitted in the middle of the loud bar area. Now, since I had been there before I knew about the other room. I told my husband I was slightly bummed and told him to just go look at the other room. (He did not come with me to the place on my first visit...it was with friends). He got up and looked and indicated lots of seats were open. I asked if he could talk to hostess and move us in there. They nicely obliged and placed us in there. It was such a better, date night type vibe. I'm not sure why we would be set up at the bar area which is so much brighter and louder. Anywho. Glad it worked out but just disappointed that it might not have due to inability to place people in best case situations. (Especially a call ahead date night). Overall I give my second visit a B. read more

10000/10 Taste like a jolly rancher. Small but mighty and really nice even on a cold day. Will definitely be getting this again.

Great pizza, useless staff. I overlooked the awkward, high school-like tension between waitstaff the first time I came here and ordered a few pizzas for pick up Friday night. They were ready in 25 min (awesome) and with my 1 year old on my hip I went to go pick them up. Upon walking into the restaurant there were 3 young girls at the hostess table. I explained I had an order for pick up and the one in the middle says "go to the bar and ____ will help you" Maria maybe? It was loud idk. Anyways, we take the literal 3 steps it takes to get to the bar right behind the girls who quickly go back talking amongst themselves. I stood there looking at several people behind the bar trying to make eye contact with ANYONE, but no one would catch my gaze. We were there for an awkward couple of minutes before I looked to my left and saw my name on a receipt sticking out of 2 stacked boxes. I had already paid and NO ONE (not even the 3 little girls who the manager shouldn't bother employing) would address me. I picked up the boxes and began to walk out and what do you know, suddenly I was seen! A girl ran after me "wait! You can't take it yet" I said "I was told to come to the bar and someone would help me but no one did..." Now this is normally the time when anyone with a lick of common sense and customer service skills would say...well...anything. Nope. Not Maria. She ROLLED HER EYES AT ME! All I could do is audibly laugh in their faces and say, I will not be back. They probably are glad though, they didn't seem like go-getters who "work" at work. Bummer cause the pizza is good, but I'll find another place :) read more

This place is the best Za, other than Zoli's. The flavor is so good thanks to the wood fire, the crust is still super soft n the texture is to die for. The Honey Bastard and Nuggz are a go to. Hands down, I don't know which is better. The service, food, or ambience. If you like wood fired thin pizza pies, check this place out for sure. read more

Pre-Corona times, got UberEats from here. Ordered the Classic Spaghetti & Meatballs, Baked Penne Bolo, Pizza of the month (March), Straight Fire and The Edgar for dessert. Classic Spaghetti & Meatballs ($14) - Really, really good. The sauce was yum and asked to make it spicy which they did and it was perfect - not loads of chilli flakes but actual spice cooked into the sauce. Baked Penne Bolo ($16) - A bit too much cheese, for me anyway. But good quality, would probably say less cheese next time. Or maybe get two of the Spaghetti & Meatballs hmm. POM Straight Fire ($17) - Delicious, again asked extra spicy and it was too good. All ingredients were fresh and the mix of mushrooms, jalapenos, soppressata and calabrian chile was great. The Edgar ($13) - Not a fan of this, it was a bit thin and dry. Think I'd go with the Lady Bird next time. Quantity - A bit on the smaller side, decent quantity but you can see in the pics it's not the usual sizing which usually lasts for more than one dinner - talking the pasta here. Spice - 3/5 Really good flavour and extra yum with the chilli. Taste - Fresh ingredients, good food and great mix of flavours. Apart from the dessert pizza, enjoyed the rest of the dishes. Overall will definitely order from here again and hopefully eventually get to try eating in. Really great that it's close by as well and always happy to support local eateries read more

So sad. Food is great, they just can't handle the demand. I ordered, paid and waited forever for my pizza and salad. I left with nothing. When I asked my server to please put the order in again, obviously it got lost, very calmly in a low voice but I was behind the counter because she was at the computer and I wanted to get her attention, that's all, the other server looked at me and said I know your upset but you can't be back here. I just put my hand up and left. Very poor management. They were in the weeds big time and no leadership recognized it. I'll never be back and neither will my friends. Just facts. read more

A friend and I went to Cane Russo's restaurant in Carrollton today. Unfortunately we were VERY DISAPPOINTED with our pizza. We ordered the build your own pizza which starts with a MARGHERITA base and then you add toppings of your choice. We added meatballs and caramelized onion. The "meatballs" we actually this slices of a meatball (think pepperoni) and there weren't very many. At first we thought they forgot to put on the onion so we asked our waiter about it. He then showed us that there was some onion on the pizza, but the amount was so small that he could only point out 2 slices with onion. He did offer to get us more and we accepted. The biggest disappointment of all was that when we got the pizza it was cold and the crust was so soggy the slices were limp. We had to eat it with a knife and fork because you couldn't hold a slice in your hand. I really wanted to like this place, especially because of the dog rescue they're associated with, but neither one of us will ever go back to Cane Russo's again! It's sad when a quick pizza delivery would have been better! Our waiter was doing his best, but the food was just so bad. If we weren't so hungry we would have gone elsewhere. read more
