Not much traffic in here compared to the many popular restaurants around so if places are busy, it's a good option. The food took a while though so I'll be ready for a 45 minute dining experience or longer or if you need in a hurry let them know the pizza tasted really good and was fresh. Lots of options. Very good value for the money compared to local sit down pizza restaurants even had pasta and salad salads go for the lunch special.

11/08/25: First time visiting. We were in the area and we came across this pizza joint. We were greeted by Ona, and she was a great hostess. She went over the menu with us, and made us feel comfortable. She went to tend to other tables and checked on us to take our order. She made us feel comfortable and not rushed. Our pizza was prepared when ordered and it didn't take very long to come out. The pizza was hot and was really good. They have fountain drinks, but no alcoholic beverages. The restaurant was pretty clean and there was plenty of parking available. Family friendly environment. There were several TV's throughout the dining area. We would stop by the next time we happen to be in the area.

This place was definitely a hidden gem in Irving, Immediately upon walking in we were greeted, the server that helped us was super sweet, I wish I got her name so I could compliment her service directly, but she was amazing! the food did have a little bit of a wait time considering there was only 2 tables waiting for their food but nothing that extreme, and it ended up being worth the wait because it was delicious :) the Ambiance was nice, but quiet, and we enjoyed seeing the sports games on in the background. The drinks also came in these gigantic mason jars which was so cute and unique, I loved it. Also thought the menu had a lot of variety and was priced really well

Ordered delivery. The Deep Dish pepperoni was good. However, I had to heat it up once I received it. The arrival time changed 3 times.

The place was empty when I walked in. Dead quiet. A lady came out from the back and gave me a menu. Not moments after I started reviewing the menu, the lady went into the back and started berating someone. She was cursing at him and calling him ugly names. This went on for a couple of minutes. She came back out, and I told her I didn't like hearing her berate that man back there and that it was completely inappropriate and unprofessional. I got up and left. I don't want to support a business where someone behaves in such a toxic and inappropriate manner towards her coworkers.

First time trying this place and it's amazing! We got a pepperoni mushroom and ricotta calzone, and a 10" deep dish pepperoni pizza. The crust on both was crispy and delicious. The marinara sauce that came with the calzone was also amazing!

loved their beef pizza and the hot dog, will definitely be back This restaurant recently underwent new management, and is located in a complex with other restaurants and stores. It's a medium sized store inside, but can seat a couple of large groups. The owners and servers were very friendly, and helped in ordering. We ordered the Wanted pizza, the Cubs pizza, pesto garlic bread, the wings, and the Chicago style hot dog. Hands down our favorites were the Wanted pizza and the Chicago dog. The wanted pizza had delicious, juicy bits of beef bacon and beef sausage that went well with the slightly sweet, slightly tart pineapple. Disclaimer though, the deep dish pizzas are thicker than your usual pizza, but not the pie-type heavy that you get in Chicago. The Chicago dog was also delicious. It was our first time trying a hot dog this way, and I loved all the toppings and the chips it came with. The Cubs pizza had some spice from the jalapeños, with bell peppers and fajita chicken. It tasted good, but I liked the meat options better. The pesto garlic bread is best eaten warm, and goes nice with the marinara sauce. The wings were kinda dry, but they did have some flavor. Overall, I'll definitely be back to try the pastas, another variety of pizza, and definitely to order the Chicago dog again.

    Hot Original Chicago Dog Single

This was a great pizza. I had the supreme deep dish and it was extremely good. The lunch special was the personal pan pizza, a salad, and the drink. I thought it was an amazing deal. I highly recommend this place. FYI, I have also ordered the hot dog, and it is a meal in itself. Quite tasty! Tastes right out of Chicago itself! The service was great too, the waiter provided great information regarding the menu. And the atmosphere in the restaurant was very relaxed and pleasant.

Very flavorful and fulfilling. Good service as there was only 1 person taking orders and managing.

Just 1 mile south of Belt Line is New York Pizza Pasta & Subs, and before you think this is just another quick-serve pizza place, you need to give this place a try. Yes, they do serve pizza-by-the-slice at lunchtime for those that want a quick lunch, but they are much, much more. Perusing the menu, you'll find a large selection of Italian favorites such as Parmigiana, Chicken Piccata, Fettuccine Alfredo, and Penne Arrabbiata. Several Salads, Seafood Dishes like Linguini & Clams and Shrimp & Mussels Fra Diavolo, and of course, fine desserts such as Cannoli, Spumoni, Creme Brulee and, my favorite, Tiramisu! They also have a kids menu, as well as Gluten-Free Pizza and Pasta. There's a full bar, including many specialty drinks to pair nicely with whatever meal you choose. The service is excellent, and the restaurant is clean and comfortable, with indoor and covered outdoor seating, and the pricing is affordable. This is definitely a go-to for a nice Italian meal.

My Overall Rating - 5 Stars (Atmosphere, Service, Food, Return) Atmosphere - Monaco is one of the prettiest restaurants in all of DFW. Dark wood and dark blue seating invite you in. The bar is stunning, with back lighting highlighting their drinks. There's also an outdoor seating area, including a wind shield - perfect when the weather is nice. This is a great spot for a weekend date night if you want something outside of Dallas. 1 Star. Service - Everyone was very nice. We were never rushed, all dishes could be customized to order, and I never had to ask for a refill. Nothing but good people here. 1 Star. Food - Let me start by saying presentation matters, and the dishes at Monaco are great for your Instagram or Yelp feed. I started with the roasted oysters. I chose it because the description said the oysters are "topped with bone marrow butter". That, combined with the roasted breadcrumbs, added a nice crunchy and smooth texture to the delicious oysters. For my main, I went with the Salmon St. Harve. This beautiful dish had a perfectly prepared salmon. Soft and flaky, but with a crunch from the skin at the bottom. It was served on top of grilled asparagus and topped with a cream sauce that brought everything together. Delicious. 2 Stars. Will I Return? - Yes. It's not a secret that I love Water Street. This is an awesome area in the heart of DFW, and I'm so happy there is an upscale restaurant like Monaco that has amazing food. 1 Star.

The vinaigrette leaned very citrusy, which overpowered the dish a bit, but I couldn't help thinking that adding some goat cheese would balance it beautifully and elevate the whole plate. Then came the pasta bolognese... and that's where things went downhill fast. The ricotta was completely flavorless, the meat was tough, and overall the dish lacked seasoning. It was honestly one of the most disappointing bolognese dishes I've had. One more thing that really stood out: the interior has carpet flooring. In a food establishment, that feels deeply unhygienic and off-putting. 1/5 stars -- a strong start with the appetizer, but the main course and overall experience completely missed the mark.
