Very spacious restaurant and has good parking for a Friday afternoon. We got the cast iron spinach dip which I feel didn't have enough spinach. It was pretty creamy and cheesy. The overall taste of it was fine. For my entree, I got the lunch combo which is only served during weekdays from 11-3pm. I chose the sausage pizza which was good. Paired well with ranch and Parmesan cheese. I also got the parm tots which were fresh and crispy. Not a lot of bottled soft drinks/ water here besides topochico and beer. I was not a fan of the fountain water . I appreciated the manger on staff coming over to offer us more chips with our spinach dip as he noticed it was running low and we still had a lot of spinach dip left. Food was excellent; drinks were excellent. We ate at the one that was in Deep Ellum (not sure if it's still there) a few years ago. I remembered the pizza was great. We ate at the Carrollton location last night because it was halfway between our house and my cousin's and his wife's house. Doubt we will purposely return to Carrollton anytime soon. I'm giving a rating of three because the food was a five and the service was a one. I actually don't write reviews very often, and I don't think I've done one in the last two years. But the guy who waited on us was rushing us out before we even got our drinks. We ordered our drinks, and he said, "it's going to take a while because the bar is backed up." (suggestion: That's not a great opening line.) "Do you want to go ahead and order your food?" (To which we said no.) He seemed put out from the get-go. Finally, I had to tell him directly, "We're not in a rush, even though you are." He's probably late 20s, dark hair, a beard, and overall a really poor performer. If he doesn't like his job, he should go do something else, though I doubt he's qualified to do much other than be on welfare. We bought four entrées, an appetizer, and two rounds of drinks. We probably would've bought more but for this really poor waiter. This is a good restaurant with very good food and a good concept. You (owner/manager) need to take much more care on the people side. It's hard to hire good talent these days but you need to do better than this. Good luck. But you need to realize there are way too many choices out there. We were excited to go to this location since we saw it featured on a TV series. We ordered three pizzas, an appetizer, and a salad. The order said it would be ready in 30 minutes. I arrived after 40 minutes, and it still was not ready. I watched the man make the pizza. He put it in the grill for about three minutes, and it was done. I thought to myself, "Wow, that's fast." I got back to the office to give my team the pizza, and it was undercooked, moist, and not in a good way. I called the restaurant, and they said it was supposed to be like that. I placed a business catering order for 24 people - pizz, salad, bread, and a side order. Never again. Paid a premium to have it delivered and set up. Driver was completely uneqipped so had to carry in half the food. They took a picture and left. Nothing whatsoever was done to keep food warm so it was cold on arrival. No serving utensils. Came here to say to grab a quick lunch after a workout the food was just as good as I remember. I opted for a chicken parm instead of pizza so I could get a side salad as well. My only knock...I expected a little more airiness in the crust itself. It was a bit doughy for me. My experience with this type of pizza has been different. But a nice size for two to share or one really hungry person. It's fresh and good, as you watch them make it. Just wasn't the hugest fan of the density. Flavor all there. Honestly this experience was just o-kay. We tried the Che Cazzo and it wasn't our fave. We received the pizza and it was cold and missing some ingredients. Wondering if this was someone else's pizza that had been sitting there that they just gave to us. But my server, Gaby, was awesome. She not only replaced the pizza, she also made some pasta recommendations which weren't bad. I think we had the crispy kale pasta. Not the most flavor in the world but had a unique crunch due to the fried kale. We dined outside, which was well lit. Lots of space, but kind of chaotic as we were right next to a large party with lots of kids running around. I love Cane Rosso but I can't say I'll be returning to this location. I went to ask the host if we were forgotten about, mainly because it was 6:20 and we had been waiting over 30 minutes for a meatball app, 2 kids pasta and 2 carbonaras. Food came out warmish but was good. We were mainly disappointed in the service, never got a refill on drinks, daughter was about to get up to ask someone for a box to go when the waiter finally came around but we had to stop him and ask for the check and box to go. Got a new job and they took us out for a company lunch first day. We went to Cane Rosso which surprisingly, I never been to. They ordered So many various types of pizza and appetizers but I couldn't get a pic of anything really. However, the gluten free pepperoni pizza was delicious and the meat lovers options, idk the name because I didn't order, was delicious as well. They have a hot honey pizza that I enjoyed the flavor of too. We also had an arugula and prosciutto pizza, pesto pizza, and vegetarian option but I didn't get to try any of those. We also got the meatball appetizer and the cheese bites. Both appetizers were 10/10. The meatballs were flavorful and juicy and the cheese bites were perfectly crispy and the cheese pull was legit. We love this place and this review is a little late. If you love Neapolitan pizza and you haven't tried this place you are missing out. We love the Carrollton location and visit frequently. Our favorites entrees are the Zoli & Cane Rosso but the basic Emma & Ella are must tries as well. Service is hit or miss; not bad but can be slow sometimes. But trust me the food is still worth it. The vie casual sports bar and the food food fired pizzas. We started with few appetizers. They have one of best fried artichokes I have had, tasted almost like calamari. We had garlic bread which is just okay. We ordered several pizzas and pastas. Which were all good. The carbonara was too salty and heavy for me with the pancetta and heavy cream sauce. Perfectly located on the Main Street of this little town and steps away from 3 Nations brewery. We decided to go with a white pizza to go. It was a thin crust pizza very flavorful but on the soggy side. This place is a classic wood fire pizza place. They cook the pizza in less than 90 seconds in a 900 degree oven, so the pizza comes out quick and piping hot. I thought the pizza was not bad, but the spinach dip is really where it's at. It's super cheesy and delicious. One pizza should feed two people. It comes with six slices. They have lots of seating indoors as well as an outdoor patio where you can bring your dogs. Service was fairly good as well. read more

We did not get a chance to take pictures but we got so many different meals for a staff lunch the chicken parmigiana was so good and the chicken was so big! The jalapeño pasta was very good. Perfect amount of spice tasted great with the pesto. The fried mozzarella bites could've gotten more cheese inside, but all in all we're very good. The mac & cheese with bacon was very good a little too sweet for my own liking, but the rest of us enjoyed it. It looked good on the menu, I mean spinach, mushrooms, zucchini, bell peppers, pesto and mozzarella--come on, it sounded really good right? WRONG! So I will not recommend this unless they make changes to it and make it more zing! For dessert we ordered a small Bella Mela, this was bomb! Not too sweet but refreshing. Their beer, the Peroni was also good. We also ordered to-go, their Friday & Saturday night special: Brisket Lasagna Bolognese. Now this is top notch! This is highly recommended, try it next time when you go there on a Friday or Saturday night because this is very limited, when it's gone, it's gone. Ambience was cozy. There weren't much customers when we came at 5 pm on a Friday night but in a few minutes time it got packed. Service was tops.
