Don did a great job with my nails - this was my first time here. He perfected the length, shape and design exactly how I described it to him (and he only had to see and hear it once - great memory!). You can tell he works hard, cares about his work and customers, and really listens to the customer. He constantly checked in with me to see how I felt about every aspect if my nails and experience. I also came an hour before they closed and didn't think it would take too long as my design was more or less simpler. But I underestimated how long it would take and I'm grateful that Don still took me despite likely knowing he would finish past closing. I wish I could have given a larger tip but money is tight right now.... However, I will definitely be a regular customer - they have my loyalty!

Mimi did a great job on my pedicure. I called and made an appointment the same day at 1pm during my lunch break. I arrived on time and she began right away. She was quick but efficient. I was able to get my pedi and get back to work within the hour. They also accept Zelle for payment. Glad my coworker recommended I will be back. read more

I want to be honest as I appreciate all Yelp reviews to be honest as well, I want to give a update I went 2 x ti this place gave it benefit of doubt that maybe I did something but after yrs of getting my nails done I know right & wrong , the nail art , design, shape was great! But I will say this my nails did not last more than 2 weeks on they lifted around day 6 that was very disappointing special when we pay so much.. I will not return but if u looking for great design they do a great job! read more

Don't know what guy it was that did my nails but he was very rough and I ended up having swelling and itchiness along with blisters after getting them done which has never happened to me before I spent $75 dollars on a basic French tip to get them taken off the next day of having them I don't think I'll be back. read more

I needed a new nail salon and tech because, unfortunately, my nail tech moved out of state. I went to several other salons trying to find someone because I always have a hard time looking for a nail tech that can do extravagant and special designs. And a salon that actually cares about their customers. Well, this is by far the absolute best nail salon in Riverside!! And Don is an amazing nail artist who can do any design you throw at him. They have a highly skilled staff, everyone there is super friendly and sweet and they always take care of their customers. I really wanted to like this place. The reviews were great, but my experience did not live up to the review hype. I called in to make an appointment for gel fill (powder) and was told they had it. But, when I got there, after Snow (my nail tech) removed all my polish, I was told that they did not have gel powder. OK... Sat there for a minute, and noticed that, although everyone was wearing masks, no one wore them properly -- 2 nail techs did NOT cover their noses; 1 nail tech took hers off for a period of time while there were 3 clients in the salon. NOT OK... but still sitting in the chair... Snow had not removed all the polish from my nails before she began laying acrylic powder... I mentioned that I preferred all polish be removed prior to laying the foundation. And she continued to lay the foundation anyway, over old polish. Not only can I see old polish through the fill.. but also there was no measuring nail length or comparing both hands. Nada. OK.... After cutting me with the drill and file and buffer more times than I could count, Snow begins to paint and it is HORRIBLE. She's not touching any edges or the tips with the paint. After I spend 20 minutes pointing out every area where she did not paint to have her satisfactorily complete the paint, she decides she's tired of touching up her work, and FILES THE SIDES OF MY NAILS OFF OF MY SKIN so that the edge of the nail that does not have paint is removed. She literally filed off the sides of the nails that WERE ATTACHED TO MY SKIN! (Ummm... OUCH!!!!) And, not to mention that the paint itself is NOT EVEN OR CONSISTENT. Mimi, tasked with a pedicure, cut my feet just as much. Needless to say, I'm quite disappointed. I'll have to find another salon to redo everything I just paid to have done. Thanks for wasting my time and money. read more

I then asked if JaneDoe had a 9:30am appointment. Again, I was told yes. I asked if I could prepay for the service, and they gladly took my $150. There is no nail tech named David. There was no appointment. The entire transaction was based on misinformation provided by their own staff. When I returned to request a refund -- since no service was ever provided -- the person running the place, Ala, flat-out refused to give my money back. Instead, she tried to push a gift voucher, as if that somehow fixes being charged for a nonexistent appointment. She showed zero accountability, zero professionalism, and zero concern. It gets worse. When I asked for the owner's name and contact information, she would only provide a phone number and refused to give the owner's name -- even after I asked four separate times. She ultimately ignored me. @Simala, this is such a dishonorable way of stealing money, and your staff should feel shame for this action. No honor in your business. Taking money for a service that does not exist and then refusing a refund is unacceptable. The lack of transparency and the refusal to take responsibility is extremely concerning. I'm happy to share the positive outcome thanks to owners like this that have integrity. Thank you for being a great example of what a business owner should do. Thank you.

Cany Nails Lounge is a wonderful and convenient business to have in our neighborhood. I called for an appointment the previous night and was able to schedule an appointment@ 10 am the following day. I was met by Don who was very friendly and eager to guide me through the sign in process. I was a bit early and waited but was serviced right on time. Don asked what I wanted done and immediately proceeded. He was professional and very efficient at his job. When my nails were completed, I was so very satisfied with the outcome that I promised Don I would post a review because I'm a firm believer that good work deserves accolades. I recently was in the Riverside area and my girlfriend needed a manicure. It was about closing time but we decide to drop by anyways. The staff happily greeted us at the door and took her in. I usually don't have much expectations for businesses but their service blew me away. The place was clean, modern, professional, and staff was very friendly. Came here to get my nails done during my previous trip to the west coast and left the salon feeling like an all new person. Was so happy with my gel manicure and my pedicure felt super refreshing. Beautifully remodeled, repainted with tiled floors, 4 new spa chairs, AC and cable. The place has a nice ambiance, very relaxing and the girls are fantastic at what they do.
