I do "not" recommend this salon. My experience was very disappointing, especially since it was for a special occasion. Please be prepared that if anything's wrong, their fake smiles, will turn into a scowling as they argue you down- just to be right and to deny any wrongdoing versus being courteous and correcting the problem! The service was unprofessional, our services were left unfinished, yet we were still quoted full price! When our concerns were raised, the staff became even more argumentative instead of trying to resolve the issue. Henry was the only technician that I've seen consistently professional, and respectful. Unfortunately, the rest of the staff skills and service fell far below expectations. I used to recommend this salon, but after this experience I no longer do. Terrible attitude from the younger nail tech and one of the more mature nail techs. She had a full-blown fit and refused to correct her work. In my opinion their unprofessional attitudes take the whole vibe down! I've since found a new replacement and wonderful salon that is welcoming, peaceful, and consistently does beautiful work. I would give 100 stars if I could! Not sure why they only had a few clients this place should be packed! Amazing service. All staff is so nice. I came to get a pedicure and full gel x set and a full face wax while I was waiting for my car to finish getting detailed. The last place I went to destroyed my nail beds and they were extremely careful and fixed my nails and toes! I can't get over what an amazing experience I had. I went to Cuccio nails and spa for the first time because my regular salon that I have gone to for the past several years is just so far from my house. I am trying to find one closer. I tried here because of the several good reviews that it had. I don't know the names of the people that did my nails but I will say that the technician that did my gel pedicure was wonderful. She did a great job and was gentle and proficient. I didn't get her name but she was a bit older. However, the technician that did my dip manicure was very rough. I had my older dip on my nails. At my salon I normally go to, I am used to them soaking it off and carefully pulling the soft older dip off. However, this one used a fake nail and forcefully took it off of my nails. For the dip nails that came right off, no problem. However, when it came to both of my thumbnails, he was met with force. That did not stop him! He kept forcefully pulling the dip powder off with the fake nail causing my nail to rip and bleed. It hurt soooooooo bad. I told him ouch! He was unfazed and said "your nails are too thin" He did not even bother to clean up the blood off of my nail until I pointed to it and asked for something to clean it off. He proceeded like it was nothing and was cross-contaminating everything with my bloody nail. The other one was ripped but not bloody and he didn't even do anything to that one. He was in such a hurry. Never rinsing off the powder until the very very end he said "okay wash your hands". I am not used to that. You are supposed to wash the powder off before the polish is applied to the dip. Looking at my nails now, there is powder under the top coat and several of them are uneven. Even that would not be that big of a deal because it can't always be perfect. For me, it's the fact that it is now 12am and my thumbs are THROBBING. THROBBING!!!! read more
