I understand accidents can happen, but what really bothered me was the rudeness and lack of accountability. Being hurt and then blamed for it is unacceptable. I will not be coming back. I then asked if JaneDoe had a 9:30am appointment. Again, I was told yes. I asked if I could prepay for the service, and they gladly took my $150. There is no nail tech named David. There was no appointment. The entire transaction was based on misinformation provided by their own staff. When I returned to request a refund -- since no service was ever provided -- the person running the place, Ala, flat-out refused to give my money back. Instead, she tried to push a gift voucher, as if that somehow fixes being charged for a nonexistent appointment. She showed zero accountability, zero professionalism, and zero concern. It gets worse. When I asked for the owner's name and contact information, she would only provide a phone number and refused to give the owner's name -- even after I asked four separate times. She ultimately ignored me. @Simala, this is such a dishonorable way of stealing money, and your staff should feel shame for this action. No honor in your business. Taking money for a service that does not exist and then refusing a refund is unacceptable. The lack of transparency and the refusal to take responsibility is extremely concerning. I'm happy to share the positive outcome thanks to owners like this that have integrity. Thank you for being a great example of what a business owner should do. Thank you.

I've been coming to this place for years and always get amazed with the service but today was awful because I brought a family member and they were disrespectful to that family member who was watching my children. It made everything uncomfortable and instead of being a peaceful time it was stressful, Nancy always does a good job but today I had an appointment at 12 and she arrived at 1240 but I have never been more stressed at a nail salon after this and now I'm going to have to find a new place . It's unfortunate because I loved this place . Cany Nails Lounge is a wonderful and convenient business to have in our neighborhood. I called for an appointment the previous night and was able to schedule an appointment@ 10 am the following day. I was met by Don who was very friendly and eager to guide me through the sign in process. I was a bit early and waited but was serviced right on time. Don asked what I wanted done and immediately proceeded. He was professional and very efficient at his job. When my nails were completed, I was so very satisfied with the outcome that I promised Don I would post a review because I'm a firm believer that good work deserves accolades. I recently was in the Riverside area and my girlfriend needed a manicure. It was about closing time but we decide to drop by anyways. The staff happily greeted us at the door and took her in. I usually don't have much expectations for businesses but their service blew me away. The place was clean, modern, professional, and staff was very friendly. Came here to get my nails done during my previous trip to the west coast and left the salon feeling like an all new person. Was so happy with my gel manicure and my pedicure felt super refreshing. Beautifully remodeled, repainted with tiled floors, 4 new spa chairs, AC and cable. The place has a nice ambiance, very relaxing and the girls are fantastic at what they do. Acrylic nails is one of their specialties, but they also do pink and white, designs, etc. The new owners keep the place spick-and-span on a regular basis. read more

In my opinion their unprofessional attitudes take the whole vibe down! I've since found a new replacement and wonderful salon that is welcoming, peaceful, and consistently does beautiful work.
