The extra time made the experience feel much more complete and relaxed without feeling rushed. Brandon was my massage therapist and did an excellent job. My partner was with Sharon and was especially impressed--she told me afterward that she definitely wants to book with Sharon again. I called today and spoke (i should say, listened, as she kept speaking over me) to Devin, who told me that Botox takes 2 weeks for one to see any effect. Anyone who has had a successful Botox treatment knows that this is not true. When Caroline treated me, i saw immediate improvement in the eyebrow area. I finally gave up, as Devin put me on hold, talking to various people, and i realized that i had spent almost $750 in vain, as no one was concerned that i was not pleased with the results. i asked several times whether they would offer any corrections, and was told to call back in 2 weeks. This was very disappointing, as i have previously had a positive experience at Skin Spirit in both California and in the Maryland area. I love the neighborhood feel of the place, it doesn't feel like a big chain or like a sterile med spa. It was a perfect setting. I scheduled a back facial with Danielle ahead of a wedding in which I was a bridesmaid and I was no disappointed at all! The facial itself was lovely of course, but what stands out the most to me are two things: 1) I felt incredibly comfortable with Danielle. I am a shy and introverted person, and I've learned to how to be comfortable in spa settings, but the wrong vibes from the person providing the service and I close right back up and get tense. This was NOT the case with Danielle and I am so thankful for that. Even after the appointment, I genuinely felt comfortable coming back; she made me feel like I was already a regular and that's something that can't be said for most - or any really place I've been before. 2) Similar to #1 - I felt relaxed!
