    So I have an update to my disaster. I am pleased to report that my ruined Travel Trailer has returned from the Forest River fully repaired and rebuilt free of charge!!! So I feel great knowing that I was right, and can show with 100% certainly that Camping World either lied about doing the leak test or performed it with an epic level of incompetence. How do I know? I have the work order from the Forest River technician stating that the window was leaking due to "incorrect installation" when it was built. So the leak was absolutely there when they performed the recall. That was one of numerous issues that was used by Camping World and the Insurance Company to show that I was neglecting my trailer. The peeling wallpaper wasn't from a leak, it was from defective glue during manufacture. I also got a new furnace because the wiring was "dangerous" The door was replaced as it was installed "out of square with the frame". You see my travel trailer is what's referred to as a "PANDEMIC BUILD". Demand was so high during that time that RV manufacturers had to contract with 3rd party vendors to fill orders. These vendors were often inexperienced or cut corners to save money. They likely misrepresented their qualifications to the manufacturers. Regardless, Camping World is not going to Service your RV competently, take it somewhere else. Read the reviews, the only 5 star reviews are written just after the super nice salesman showed or sold them a camper. Think about it, of course their going to be nice, LOL. Glad I didn't have them repair it, probably would have blown up while I slept.

    ***** Just a quick update as promised***** I am sticking with the 4 stars. Brian answered all our questions. The service went well. Just little things like not removing the sales stickers (still gotta scrap that off - it is on there but good) are why this is not a 5 star. Very happy with the service to this point. ************************************** So far so good, We bought a new Thor Scope and the process went pretty well - I will explain the pretty well later ;) First off our sales person Brian Hersey was great. We had great online communication and the great communication continued when we were at the location. No pressure in the sales and he gave us a lot of good info. We took care of most of the paperwork online. Still spent a few hours at pickup :( Right now I think they did very well - which could go up or down. It seems we got the wrong keys. The remotes work but a day later when I tried the actual key it wasn't even close to working, so I think we have some mixed keys floating around. I know I should have checked at the dealer, but I haven't used an actual key in a vehicle for a bit. I am in the process of scheduling the protective coat process, so we will see how that goes. And I need to return a few things since the adapter and surge strip don't fit our Scope. Got a bit of bad advice in the store I guess. No biggy. We will see how this goes and I will update the review.

    Ok... We brought the RV and loved our salesman, finance guy and the guy that gave us an over view of how to use the RV. They were TOP TIER!!!! Now what happened when we had to take it in to have it service because the line to the propane tank was punctured... HORRIBLE! Horrible HORRRRRRRIBLE! They had our RV for nearly 5 MONTHS!! During that time someone stole the catalytic converter. You would think since it happened on their property... they're insured... they would cover the theft that happened on their property BECAUSE THEY PROLONGED FIXING OUR PROPERTY. But nope. Our insurance company had to cover it and NOW our insurance has gone up because they don't protect your property while dragging their feet to fix your vehicle. Customer service wasn't good either. I'm TOTALLY dissatisfied and disappointed because our initial experience was so great. DONT BUY AN RV from here or anywhere more than 20-30 minutes away from your home. (This is my personal opinion based on my experience and other reviews I read as well) We drove an hour and half to be messed over. RV's are too expensive to be treated so poorly.

One employee checks you in, a second does your background check and then a third has to check it before submitting. Then after approval, you have to wait for the employee that started the background check, so you can checkout. I'm currently sitting here, approved over 45 mins ago and two employees have told me I need to wait for that employee to come back. I haven't seen him out on the floor in over an hour. Two and a half hours now and counting, but at least I have plenty of time to write this review as I wait. EDIT: The employee came out from the back over an hour later. He immediately started helping someone else, so I waved to him and told him that I had been approved an hour ago (59 minutes at that point to be exact - I had the text from VA state police) and he said anyone there could do the final checkout and he asked one of the other employees to check me out - It was the second person I had asked if they could check me out, 40 mins earlier. As she was finally checking me out a third person had to verify all the paperwork and the serial numbers on the firearms. I had already purchased the firearms online, so I only went to pick them up and do the background check and it took three hours (15 mins for the approval to come back). Every single other FFL I have been to over the last 20+ years, I was able to walk in, browse, make my selection, do the background check, wait for approval, and be out of there in an hour or less.

It was nice being dropped off and picked up. We did have issues with our card online, but when I called in to book, Nancy was helpful. She got us all situated and sent an email to confirm. We filled out waivers online which was a breeze. We watched a quick safety video, picked up our lifevest and were on our way. The water was the perfect temp, and it was clear. Tips: bring snacks and water. You are out there 4-5 or longer hours. Especially if the water is low, which ours was. We used a waterproof bag and had no issues. We used a tube with a cup holder which was nice. I wore my life vest out of precaution even though I can swim, plus it made it comfortable for my to use it as a neck rest. I've noticed people mention in previous reviews that the bus was dirty ect. Um, you're in the woods. If you get picked up after many other groups the bus will be dirty as everyone is wet coming out of the water no matter what activity you choose. I would not own a brand spanking new vehicle for this type of environment and job. Used is best and saves money I'm sure. Wear a hat and sunglasses, put in that sunscreen. Bring a waterproof phone case/bag. You will have no service out there so put it on airplane mode and use it as a camera.

We got a great deal, bought a perfectly readied RV and were treated so well by each and everyone at the dealership that we felt immediately at home with all of them. They knew the product very well, they had it ready for us to inspect and test drive before we bought it and they made the few adjustments we asked for to allow us to finalize the deal and head home to Michigan within the time frame we needed. They assisted us in making motel and dining reservations while we were there and, most important, they made us feel valued and respected as customers. And our dog, Cooper, too! We are six time owners of new Class A Newmar motor homes and John and his staff made our buying experience and delivery of this Class C coach every bit as good as any coach we've ever bought in the past. When spending this kind of money, we sure love being treated this way. These guys have it all dialed in. Would never hesitate to buy or service with them again. We can recommend these folks, particularly John Rendo, without reservation. First class operation at the NIRVC location in Washington.
