Previously I had to drive to Fredericksburg, more than 18 miles, to get to the nearest Advance location. The managers at this store are very good, and have a lot of automotive and parts knowledge. There does seem to be some turnover among the staff, but usually I can deal with String Stringfellow or another store manager. I have had very few problems there, and those have been minor. I dropped off a car battery there to be tested/charged recently, and when I returned it turned out the battery had been lost. But their records showed my battery had tested out as defective on their machine, and was still under warranty, so they gave me a brand new battery, and I was on my way! This store handles internet orders very well and very promptly. It is super convenient to be able to order my parts on their website, and then pick them up at the store. Store-pickup of internet orders is a breeze; which is not the case with some other retailers who say they have in-store pickup of web orders. Advance also regularly runs specials/promos on their website, which enable me to get at least a 15% discount with almost every internet order I place with them. The Bealeton Advance Auto Parts store is definitely one of the better auto parts stores I deal with as A DIY mechanic; and is the first place I check when I need something for one of my cars and trucks.

It's quite remarkable how much they look brand new and importantly, my range of sight has drastically improved at night! The headlights were sooo foggy before that I couldn't drive on the highway or to unfamiliar places at night. Now, I'm much more comfortable on the road. I needed three very small things done, and told them that, since I had no one to drive me home, I would be waiting on the work to be done. I got there at the appointment time (2:00pm)... and waited THREE HOURS for them to finish. They couldn't even do one of the things (they have to order a part), so the two remaining small things took three hours, apparently. The waiting area was FREEZING cold, so I sat there shivering for all three hours, with no one bothering to check on me, offer me a coffee.... etc. A very unpleasant way for me to spend my afternoon. Tune was rich according to my new tuner from their baseline. Landon, the tuner, does not know what…read morehe is doing. Was told come back in 500 miles for an ethanol tune. Don't know why. Meth kit - has no leaks works fine, wired to a fuse that has power even when car is off. Drains battery if not turned off with the car. Front splitter was missing bolts even with hardware provided only hanging on from canards. Splitter was flapping at 100+; destroyed my $1,100 splitter and $250 front grill. Was told my front accessory drive bolts were loose - they were not I torqued to spec. They proceeded to hit all the bolts with an impact, breaking my AC compressor bolt which the belt pulled the AC line towards my header. Cost $1,300 to take to another shop to get fixed. Crank seal was replaced with incorrect crank seal for the Innovators West Balancer. Which then leaked oil under boost / left a puddle of oil under the car when turned off. Do not take your performance car here. I have other friends in the car industry that have been screwed over by these guys.
