**Camping World knowingly sold me a trailer that is unsafe for me to tow and quite possibly place me and my family in harm's way. The complete lack of knowledge about anything rv related at this place has me really regretting my purchase and when you have a purchase over 20 grand it's not like that money comes easy. I don't trust their staff and they couldn't care less about the issues I had with my rv right off the lot. I had to contact keystone and they told my it was up to camping world to inspect these issues before conducting a sale or even just accepting it in general and yes it was brand new. My ac went out after having the trailer since November and my dog was in it and I called and was told I'd get a call back Monday and today is Thursday with no call back. The walls popped out and were not secured inside and my shelf was not correctly installed and they don't have a mobile rv tech to come out to fix anything under warranty. Keystone helped with that thankfully. Not to be rude but I work so hard for my $$ and to spend it somewhere where the staff could care less about anything makes me feel like cattle just pumped in and out of that store as fast as they can and take what they want to drive their quota. read more

Our experience was too long to detail so I'm just highlighting some points. 1. Lack of communication. If you decide to work with camping world be persistent. Always get the first and last name and phone number of any person you talk to. For us, many of my phone calls were not returned. Call them every day if necessary to get the information you need. 2. I believe they manipulate the prices when consigning or selling your RV to camping world. When we consigned with them they priced it really high. I believe this is why it didn't sell. 3. It was approximately 4-5 weeks from the time we signed papers to sell RV to camping world and the time our credit Union received the pay off. I feel they wait as long as they can before paying money. Friendly &helpful. They went out of their way, by a mile, to help us with a major slide problem. Excellent work! When we later had a different slide problem, they could have taken us to the cleaners and we wouldn't have known better, but instead told us there was some kind of gummy residue on one roller. We were charged a fraction of what we expected. Our local RV repair took days and days to tell us the job was too big for them. I recommend this place for RV body work. read more

She in fact said something was discontinued in a brand new trailer when it was in fact not after question how could that be in a brand new trailer ! We've been here a number of times when we stayed in Eugene and had to drive up today to get something else. It has always been great but this review will concentrate on today's experience. I called since the trip was 83 miles each way. I spoke with Valerie in Parts who was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. We needed a measurement and she was willing to get the box off the shelf (it was quite heavy!), take it out (very awkward to move) and measure how high the water hoses were off the floor. This really was above and beyond. The item worked! So we drive up to be there and found Valerie in parts. We bought it, paid for it and she even got the dolly to move it. We were in and out fast without any issues. We are Good Sam members so the price was lower than expected! I definitely recommend this Camping World. They had the item we needed in stock, price was good and service was exceptional. Valerie is just so great. I hope someone reads this and realizes what a gem they have. My wife and I purchases a travel trailer from Camping World about a year ago and we have taken it out 3 times and each time we have had issues. We paid extra for a service warranty and a maintenance warranty which they declined to honor stating that the company they are contracted with is declining their requests for service. This is a breach of contract on Camping Worlds part. They took our money for services that aren't rendered. We also had to pay out pocket for a water leak even though we have an extended warranty they did not even submit the claim. We don't recommend doing any business with this company. Initially brought my travel trailer in for a purchase inspection on 5/18. They had offered me $21,400 if the inspection was good. Going into the inspection I knew that there was a small tear in the roof. After the inspection, they said everything looked good but suggested I file an insurance claim to fix the roof and then they'd be able to offer their top dollar. I filed the claim the same day (5/18). The trailer remained with them. I was contacted by my insurance company stating that the repairs had been finished on 6/6. I heard nothing from camping world, so decided to contact them on 6/12. Finally got a call back on 6/14 stating the work was complete. Their purchasing specialist also called me on 6/14. Not quite a month later, while my travel trailer sat in their lot, apparently the "market changed" according to them and they were only willing to pay $16,500 which I declined. After picking up the travel trailer, I inspected the roof and everything looked good. On 7/9, I went inside the travel trailer for the first time after picking it up to take pictures for listing the travel trailer for sale. During the "repair", one vent was broken, one was completely removed and not replaced leaving a hole in the ceiling, the power cord cover on the outside of the trailer was broken, wires are now exposed for the awning and the shower head was broken. I immediately reached out to camping world and the service manager I had been working with came out and took pictures and assured me that they'd get right on it. By 7/20 I had heard nothing from them, so I contacted them. Their response was "We are pending parts, I will call you as soon as I have an accurate ETA on the parts." It is now 7/26, I've heard nothing from them since and I'm still unable to even list my travel trailer for sale because of the items they broke!! read more

We were checking out RV's. This was our first stop. Salesman seemed laid back, ok. We liked one trailer. Salesman offered to "hold it" for us for the day-"just fill out some forms" it ll take 15 minutes!" Sure, whatever. Then he starts running credit. Then he slides the form over to sign "to hold it for us". It was a sales agreement! "Just sign, it doesn't mean anything, everyone signs it","You're the first person not to sign it" "go ahead, ask any of the other SALESMEN(!), they'll tell you it doesn't mean anything". Dude, in bold lettering it says "Buyers Agreement!" Then he goes on to say he "feels insulted, that I don't trust him." I was wary of CW well known horrible reputation but thought I check them out. Worst customer service ever. One guy actually laughed at me when I asked him if he could check stock for something that the website said was in stock but wasn't on the shelf.... I'm still not sure why that is so funny or why he thinks it's appropriate to laugh in a customers face but whatever. This place is like the ghetto Walmarts of camping. Except it has a horrible selection of less than WalMart junky plastic crap. I can not for the life of me see the appeal of shopping here. We went to Camping World after seeing their advertisement on TV, just to look around for a camper, not thinking to buy one right away. James, our sales person helped us, he was amazing. He was so very personable, he listened to what we were looking for and he showed us several campers, used and new and eventually came to this brand new Wolf Pup camper. He was so knowledgeable, answered all our questions and it had everything we needed and was looking for, it was perfect! Little did we know, about a week later... we were signing papers and brought it home. I went about a week and a half ago... The guy at the register was great! He tried to help me as much as he could. When he couldn't then he found someone who could help me. The lost off one point was the guy who wouldn't help with the propane. We were told that he could help us and when I told him that he huffed and puffed as he went outside to help my husband. Next thing I know is he's back and said, he was too buys and couldn't help. There weren't any customers in his department. Anyhow, the two who helped were were great and the store was kind of fun to shop in. I just got my first travel trailer and am still learning a lot about what I need and what I don't need. This gives some great ideas as you walk through the aisles. I even got things that I don't need. ;) FYI: If you get a Good Sams card you can dump here for free. Although, I think anyone can dump for free since no one is really there checking. BUT...if you have a Good Sams card you get discounts on this that or the other at this store (as well as different campsites). read more

We stopped in to check out travel trailers. They have 100's of different models and manufacturers. They have nice store with all kinds of accessories. We showed the salesman the type of floorplan we are looking for and ventured out to go look at a few models. We did not feel much pressure and we are not ready to buy either. We found a few that we liked and the prices seemed comparable to other places we have checked out. One major benefit we we see from buying from camping world is that they have locations all over. The wife and I shopped around for a new trailer for months waiting to find the right deal and place to take our trade in. When we arrived we were greeted by Zach Lyons. He was very friendly and willing to listen to our needs and wants. After a few hrs of showing us what they had to offer we let him know we were going to wait and check out the rv show that weekend. He was very understanding and asked if he could fallow up with us after the weekend. He was the only one out of the 6 or 7 dealerships to do this. Needless to say we came back in and made a deal on a new trailer. The trade in process was easy and fair. It was also nice to be able to walk around the store and add things we were missing from our older trailer into the deal. Got a cover and new generator along with everything we would need to store it for the winter. Camping worldin Coburg, OR ripped us off in many ways. Said they had to call in a hazmat team to clean little waste , charged us $740 and the floor still.had the same marks and smears as when we took it in, no evidence of any cleaning! They refused my husband access to our coach so he could get something to eat, he is diabetic! The toilet replacement was taking much longer than expected. There was no where for my disabled Veteran husband to walk to for something to eat. They didn't even offer a golf cart to drive down to the nearest fast food. I came in here about a week ago with a buddy of mine. I'd never been here, so I was totally curious about what they had and was kind of excited to check it out. It is a store geared for RV camping, not like tent camping. So there wasn't any supplies to rough it. It's more like glamping, in my opinion. Which there's nothing wrong with that. It's just not my thing. If you're older and travel around the country in an RV, this place has everything you could ever want or need. Washers and dryers, dish washers, new refrigerators, and more in terms of appliances. They have a good selection of cookware, dishes, and small kitchen appliances. All kinds of dog accessories for your fluffy companion. They also do RV repairs. I don't really have an opinion on this part of it, as I had no use to talk to their service department. Customer service in the store seemed to lack. I was never greeted by anyone, or asked if I needed anything. But I also didn't actually need help, so it didn't bother me. Simply something I noticed. Would I return? Not in the foreseeable future. Not because I had a bad experience or anything, it's simply not a useful store to me. If I ever retire, buy an RV and start traveling the country with my husband, sure. I'll come in and make sure I have all the supplies I could ever possibly need. Shelby Garner service manager is a liar and hides behind her service writers when they fo sib standard work on your motorhome beware of this location as they cause more damage like other locations and then there fix on shooting nails thru bathroom panel was to install new panel over old panel and cut around cabinets then use 2 tube of silicone to hide cuts and a bunch of unnecessary trim to cabinet that looks horrific. When asked to fix they said looks good enough to them and now hiring a lawyer. GM of the store will not return calls along with the corporate office standing behind all there shitty locations in Oregon. People on sales side seem to be goofing off every time we are in there. God forbid we interrupt their football game in the lobby, I mean it was raining. People in the storefront side seem nice enough but not a lot of knowledge of products. Plus they were only wearing face shields no mask. I have an autoimmune disease. Not good! They kept walking up close to me even though I obviously would take multiple steps away immediately. I'm sure this company doesn't pay great and the customer service shows. Parts department guy (don't know name) seems like someone pissed in his Cheerios every time we have a question. We have been in there at least 8 times and it's always like this. We recently had difficulty with our satelite and learned from Dish we needed to have it repaired or replaced. We have an extended warranty on our motorhome some of which aren't easy to deal with. We have Dish as our tv provider. I called Camping World Eugene and was connected with service advisor Savy C. This is a brand-new store, in a brand-new location. They had everything we were looking for. The sales staff and parts department were very good to work with. We got there just before closing and the 2 employees that were left helped us got through the entire store so we could get everything we needed. We din't get out of there until about 45 minutes after the store closed. Awesome customer service. My only tip is, as with any other camping world, look online for some of the best pricing.
