I also would have bought my leather jacket from here instead of Harley because they are way cheaper except I have short girl problems and the Harley jacket fit me better. I was also going to return here to get my boots and chaps because they have such a great deal but I happened to score Harley brand at Buffalo Exchange for $40 a piece. Not even broke in. So when I saw the Gold Rush Nugget Bucket, I was a bit dubious. My parents used to take me panning for gold the old fashioned way while I was growing up in Colorado, and what I mainly remember was freezing feet in cold rivers and a whole lot of dirt in a pan. Bad with tools plus bad memories: Never exactly a good combination. My daughter, however, was insistent. She remembered seeing it on "Shark Tank" and next thing I knew I had a new gold panning kit. It is awesome. For one thing, it's easy to use. The directions make sense and you don't have to freeze your derrière off standing in a river. It also attracts attention. Not in a bad way, like the kind you get when your picture's in the post office. No, I mean the good way, as when you roll up in front of the hotel in a sports car. Everyone wants to know what it is, and once they see how easy it is to use, they ask if they can try it out. (I do not recommend this with a sports car.) I even used it on the beach in Lincoln City, Oregon where the D River meets the ocean. I kid you not, I found some gold. Not as much as if I'd found a 14K earring, mind you. But enough to make it fun - and attract a whole lot of new friends.

1,500+ miles and going strong…read more... Ever since we adopted Jackson Louie, some seven (7) years ago - our journey of Burley cycling began. In case you are scratching your head, why the two word "human" name for a dog? Well, his previous owners who was going to surrender him to the pound, named him "Louie" after France King Louie the 16th. It didn't quite fit him, being that he's well over 100 lbs at that time, I asked his previous owner if I could put a prefix in front of his name, and so "Jackson Louie" was reborn aka "JLo" for short! Okay where was I again? Oh yes (got sidetracked), so I found out that Jackson Louie enjoyed the outdoors so much, especially water, he would get sad when he saw me head out to go cycling, I decided to take him along with me and so our Burley Bee trailer joined in the journey with us. Nathan, our little poodle mix also joins in the fun. He rides attached to my rear rack with a basket I converted as a dog holder. I'm pleased to say that after years of using our Burley Bee trailer, and after putting more than 1,500 plus miles, I can confidently say, this trailer is going strong. It has withstand many terrain and weather. From rain to high winds, from mud to grass to concrete pavement, our Burley Bee trailer keeps on hauling. It's like the "Energizin Bunny," going, going, going.... hahaha! I've also cycled through off pavement road where there were plenty of gravel rocks during our nomadic weekend vanlife excursions, and the Burley Bee trailer held up very strong. I think what I love most about our Burley Bee trailer is the super lightweight, very easy to fold down after each use. I did add a piece of wood to lay on the frame to hold Jackson Louie's weight. There is a trunk space towards the back where I use it to put my bike lock, dog water, treats, and extra blanket and towels for when we cycle towards the Bay waters. All in all, excellent bike trailer and if you're looking for a trailer that is well made, consider Burley. Cheers!

I was looking for a place to see about a riding lesson for my wife and I as she used to ride horses as a child and not at all in the past 20 years. I knew she would enjoy getting back on one, so I asked a lot of stables. I wasn't sure which ones offer this, so I cast a wide net. I checked out Triple Rise's FB page and saw pictures of people riding horses. Mostly championship style riding horses, which is what most stables tend to show. I sent them a message on FB to ask if they offered riding services -- and if they didn't, if they knew of anyone close by that did. I noticed that within an hour, someone on the account viewed my message. Unfortunately, nobody bothered to answer. A week later and still no answer, but at this point, it doesn't matter. They could have just said, "Sorry, we don't offer that service" and I'd have been good to go. If you have need of championship horse services -- or even horse riding lessons -- Arcuri Stables is the place to go. Prompt response, very helpful, and great customer service. Horses are expensive. Better to entrust your care to a business that responds and pass on Triple Rise.

He spent at least a couple of hours with us, carefully adjusted the bikes we tried out, sent us on two long test rides, and advised us in ways that made it clear that it was more important to him that we find the right bikes for us than that he make a quick sale. In the end he made what can be a kind of scary purchase (road bikes are quite pricey compared to mountain bikes, which is what we used to ride) totally painless. I know I'll be returning to his shop for advice and tune-ups and that he will continue to be a valuable resource as I learn more about the world of road cycling. I would feel comfortable sending anyone here for a road bike.
