    Deviled Eggs

Came to camp with my son for dinner. Service was friendly and prompt. Sadly wanted unsweetened ice tea but they didn't have any. All good. We had the shishito peppers and deviled eggs for appetizers. Liked both of them. Son had chicken fingers and fries and I had the Nashville hot chicken sandwich. To be honest didn't remind me of Nashville hot at all. And didn't have much kick either. Nashville hot is usually pretty spicy.

4 stars cause the service (John) was fantastic. Atmosphere is fantastic and very casual. You're really immersed in the camp vibe, from the decor to the waiters calling themselves Counselors, and even the music selection is spot on. Apple Cider Marg was good, couldn't tell there was any booze in it. Very sweet. BBQ ribs were good, wish there was more sauce on them or on the side. Ribs were moist and fell off the bone and had the perfect char. Fries were the big double battered ones but came out cold and had little salt on them. Pickles were delicious. Coleslaw was good, not that saucy and perfect tang and crunch and good portion. Baked beans were meh, kinda thick and on the dry side. Ok flavor but I couldn't get past the mouth feel. Corn bread was dry dry dry and tasted like dense flour - no flavor. Fried chicken was heavily battered, I ended up taking a lot of it off. Wish it had more flavoring as a whole dish, it all kind of melded together. Cheese sauce was supposed to be gouda but you could hardly tell, it was ok though. The chive mashed potatoes could have used some garlic or chives, there seemed to be none in there. They almost tasted like instant mashed potatoes. The one random Apple and pepper slice on top kinda threw me off, wasnt sure what their purpose was. The green beans were seasoned and cooked perfectly! Cheesecake was their seasonal flavor, lemon with raspberry drizzle. It was DENSE. Very good and the crust was heavy and amazing. For $10 it was a decent, shareable slice. Waiter, John, was FANTASTIC. He made the dinner. He clearly enjoys his job and talking to people and gave us recs of what to try when we go to their sister restaurant, Lagos this week. He was attentive and offered us biscuits when we sat down (we declined cause we were ordering heavy meals) and said there was a cheese and cracker table at the front and to help ourselves. Overall: good to go with kids or a group. I'd go back if I was in the mood for hearty, home style cooking but this wouldn't be part of my usual rotation. Pros: atmosphere/vibe, service, portion size, good value for what your getting, decor is cool, drink menu is expansive Cons: some food is hit or miss, not much for booth seating, cornbread - that honestly was a crime.

My in-laws live in Meredith and we have been to Camp many times. We've always enjoyed the rustic theme and the service, as well as the comfort food. Tonight however, the experience wasn't great. I have to admit, the restaurant has been going down hill for a few years now and I think this trip will be our last. This area is almost always busy on the weekends, so I will not complain it taking a while to get our food. However, when it did arrive it was cold. Not only that, but my burger was borderline tasteless! To make matters worse, the rum and coke I got was probably the weakest I've ever had. I'm sure this review will go so deaf ears in regard to the owner/upper management as they own just about everything in NH, but I will no longer continue going to a restaurant that keeps raising their prices and lowers their standards.

Burnt lobster dog and burnt shishito peppers

Went to Camp for apps and beers, left pretty disappointed. Ordered the shishito peppers and Lobster corn dog. The lobster corn dog came out very burnt and the shishito peppers came out raw. A manager checked on our table and offered to cook the shishito peppers as he noticed they were under cooked. The peppers came back to our table cooked more however they were dripping in oil and lacked any flavor. The lobster corn dog was so burnt it was bitter. Other than the food the beers were great, service was good and the manager was nice.

Great place! The theme is awesome and there's so much attention to detail. Even the waiters are your "counselors". Service was amazing by the way, knew the menu very well. As for the food, just delicious. The savory biscuits were light and delicious, and the camp crackers are a favorite for a reason. I had the pot roast, and it was tender with great flavor. Check this place out!

1st off, letting us free to get our own slices of block cheese and crackers is dangerous because we went back again and again. Almost getting full off of that because it was so dang good. Mild yet somewhat buttery type of cheese with great table crackers. Instantly hooked. Ambiance was great with fun decor and even a fireplace. The place was separated into different quadrants and had to walk around to see all the decorations. The haddock with the crumbles was excellent and even the sides. Ribs were okay but better to try other things. Someone had what looked like a hot skillet with fajitas on it but didn't see that on the menu anywhere. I thoroughly enjoyed the puffed s'mores with all the traditional ingredients like the Hershey's chocolate and graham crackers. Service was good enough to go back. They were busy and got even busier when there. Bathroom is in an odd place, up front by everything and only a 1 person type of stall.

I 100% recommend camp to everyone. The atmosphere here is so much fun and relaxing and they offer you cheese and crackers to start which were yummy. Every single staff member was so hospitable and attentive even the manager on duty stopped by to greet us and make sure everything was okay. The food was the cherry on top everything was delicious and I will be stopping by again next time i'm in the area. Thank you camp for a wonderful evening!!

We sat at the bar and had drinks and an app. The bartenders were very friendly and the whole vibe of the place was cozy and fun. Get the deviled eggs! Perfect bite!!

Camp is a rustic themed restaurant that serves comfort foods such as chicken pot pie and pot roast. The staff is friendly and they have a decent selection of local brewed beer and wine. Food was good with large serving sizes.

Was in Meredith NH for a two night stay. Didn't realize it but most restaurant in the waterfront Meredith area are owned by Common Man. The first night went to Camp as we got in late and just wanted to walk somewhere. So, we went to Camp. Sat down and our server got out drinks. Meanwhile we looked over the menu. We both decided on Chicken Pot Pie. We got a family style salad. Our drinks came and My Cosmo tasted like straight Vodka. I asked my daughter who had been a bartender for years to taste it and she said yuk. I asked that the server take it back and I got a tropical drink which was much better. The Bruschetta came and was not very inspiring. Basically, tomato with some sprinkled cheese. Our salad came and was delicious. The Balsamic salad dressing was super delicious. You can also get a refill on the salad. You can help yourself to cheese and crackers. The cheddar cheese was super delicious...very crumbly. The server brought fresh biscuits that were the softest most delicious biscuits I've ever had. The chicken pot pies came and were topped with a biscuit crust. The filling was very good except I didn't realize the mashed potato was on the bottom of the pot pie. It was very good.

I'd never been here but we were passing through town and stopped for early dinner and did not regret it. We sat at the bar and had amazing, fast, and friendly service. Our drinks were delicious and the food was amazing! The appetizer was great and something I wouldn't have thought of but so yummy-A Walk in the Woods- yummy vegetables with cheese on a skillet- delicious!!!! I had the steak tips on a pile of sweet potatoes and kielbasa and WOW- I don't get steak tips everywhere and I am kinda picky about them and these did not disappoint- So GOOD!!!

On our first visit, I had the Beet and Feta Salad with Grilled Salmon. It was fantastic, and one of my favorite meals of the entire trip. The salad was extremely fresh, with greens from local farmers. It was the best lettuce I've ever had, and when I tried to find out what kind it was, I wish told it was spring mix. It didn't look like any spring mix I've ever had, but it was such sweet, delicious and crunchy lettuce. The beets were also great, with both red and golden varieties. The salmon was cooked absolutely perfect. My dining partner got the Duck Confit Tacos. He did not care for that for a number of different reasons. In the first place, it should've been served on a different type of plate, as it was very messy and most of it was falling off the very narrow plate. He doesn't like a lot of mess. It likely would have been better had they left all the toppings off, to add them as you want them. There was way too much on top of the duck, which buried the taste. It was impossible to pick up, and very difficult to eat with a knife and fork. Plus they added too much cheese, and he doesn't like cheese much. It was not a dish he would order again. On our next visit, I had the Seafood Linguine. It came packed with fresh seafood with lots of mussels. It was a very generous portion, with plenty to take home for another meal. My partner had the grilled burger, which he quickly devoured. He said that was one great burger! On our next visit, we stopped in for a late lunch. It was a dreary, rainy day, and the weather was on the cool side. So we opted for soup. My partner got the Clam Chowder and I opted for the French Onion. They both hit the spot. My partner loved that burger so much, he ordered it again. I opted for a Grilled Veggie Sandwich, which was not as good as my salad choice a few nights earlier, but it was OK. All in all, we enjoyed all three of our visits here. I'd be happy to return again when in the area.

It has its charm, but they could really use some fresh paint and some updating, and if they redid the booths, they could certainly fit in way more tables and you'd think make more money. The first day, my omelette was OK, though I have to say I prefer George's Diner next door. But the coffee was hot and the coffee cake muffin that was grilled was phenomenal! We came back the next day because of that muffin. Our second experience was not good at all, and the reason we did not go back again, despite being there for 13 days. Service was absolutely horrible! When we walked in, there were few tables seated. We ordered sunny side up eggs with potatoes (fruit for me) and a coffee cake muffin. It took 25 minutes to get it, and made us late for work. They do not turn over tables quickly here. It's a diner folks, and if you can't get eggs out quickly, how do you make money? It's back to George's for us. I have to say this really pissed us off. They tried to say it was a full restaurant, but when we came in, it was not. We ordered something very simple. My dining partner tips 20 bucks on breakfast, and had done so the day before, so though a different server, you think she'd be aware he's a very good tipper and it's a good idea to take care of him. Of 13 days there, we ate next-door at George's 11. The coffee cake muffin here is good, but when you're on a time crunch and have somewhere to be, choose somewhere else.

Portion sizes are pretty massive. My dining partner got the meatloaf dish. It was absolutely ginormous! We were in an Airbnb without a full kitchen, so though we took it with us, he never did eat it. It was heavily glazed with something he did not like. Had it been glazed with a little lighter hand, he probably would not have minded it. But he did not like that flavor at all. The mac & cheese was good but again heavier than he likes to eat. The seafood dish I had, on the other hand, was very good. It had plenty of pieces of lobster in it, as well as generous portions of shellfish. The broth was also excellent. As this is a pricier place, we only made one trip during our 13-day stay. It is worth a visit here, and you'll likely get enough for a second meal. There were lots of good choices on the menu. I originally thought to give this place 5 stars based on my dish, but due to the fact that my dining partner did not make any effort to eat the rest of his meal he took home because he said he didn't like it enough, that took a star away.

We were seated immediately and our drink order was taken quickly but took a long time to come out. Our appetizers came out quicker and honestly were amazing. We ordered canoe bread, grilled cheese and tomatoes, crispy orange chicken, and sweet and sour calamari. Everything was delicious and I wish we had stopped at appetizers. Next came salads; two of us asked for extra dressing and half our salad was gone before it arrived. We also had to ask for another round of drinks even though our cups were empty. Dinner took forever to come out and only six of our seven meals came out. We tried to wait for the final meal but it was taking so long and our meals were already cold, they came out cold. The final meal came out and the salmon was raw. My guess is they forgot about the salmon and tried to make it quickly. We sent it back and they literally threw it back on the grill but let the side sit. Every dinner was cold and the two steaks were over done and cold. Our waitress, Melinda, never once asked how it was. We again had to ask for another round of drinks which again took an absurd amount of time to come out. Here's the thing normally at this point I would have left but we were there celebrating my birthday and everyone wanted to stay for dessert to celebrate. Dessert was even more disappointing than our main meals. I ordered the cinnamon roll and it tasted store bought and wasn't even warmed up. Our table also ordered the carrot cake (more like half frozen spice cake), the chocolate chip lava cake (no lava), and the triple chocolate cake (meh). Again the waitress never checked in. We finally had enough and when I saw the waitress I gave her a card to run so we could be done I honestly thought it was going to take her forever to bring us the bill and luckily it didn't. $505.65 before tip. $505.65 and the majority of our meal was terrible. $605.65 after tip which was 20% and 100% not deserved. The cherry on top was a manager never came by after we sent raw salmon back and they left it on the bill. Personally I don't care so much about the money but the fact that a manager never came by is mind blowing. That's restaurant 101. I've never been so disappointed in a restaurant that truly started off so good.
