We love bringing our babies here for boarding! Our babies…read moreSalem and otter have stayed for boarding and just to play. Both times were great as we can see what those two are up to thanks to the cameras! The communication is great with staff too and they are very welcoming. I highly recommended beach dog fun for your babies.

My family and I were looking into dog boarding over Labor Day weekend, and found this place on…read moregoogle. What interested us in this place was it being specifically for smaller sized dogs, under 40lbs. We took him on a trial visit which he loved, although he was very nervous. After that, about once a week we would take him to regular daycare just so he can get used to being around the employees and the dogs. When we would pick him up, he would be so full of energy and joy. He would mainly stick by the people rather than the dogs, he's just like that. During his stay, he had gotten a minor injury(due to his fault not the daycare), which they called us to let us know of what had happened, what they will be doing (cleaning the wound and making sure he doesn't lick it). If it had escalated, they would provide some medication, but luckily he was perfectly fine and unbothered. They were very informative and caring for the dogs, have a great location, and the people are kind, we are grateful. Although we do not need to take him to daycare or to board him anytime soon, we would definitely return here if we needed to.

We've been bringing…read moreour Labradoodle, Buddy, to their grooming services since he was just a puppy, and he's now 8 years old. Every visit has been fantastic. They treat Buddy with the utmost care, and he always comes out looking dapper and smelling great. Heather's team is warm, patient, and they clearly love what they do. I always feel confident leaving Buddy in their hands, and he's always happy when we pick him up. I also appreciate the excellent communication and flexibility they offer. If I need to make a day or time change, they're always accommodating. I highly recommend Heather's to anyone seeking quality grooming services. And we also trust Heather to take wonderful care of Buddy for an extended period when we go on vacation!

Extremely disappointed with our experience at Heather's Dog Grooming…read more We brought our two little dogs in for what was supposed to be a simple flea dip. We were told the process would take about an hour to an hour and a half. Instead, our dogs were kept there for nearly three hours. When we picked them up, one of our dogs had a cut on his face, but no one mentioned it. We noticed it ourselves and asked about it. Only then did they acknowledge the cut and tell us that he had been very stressed during his visit. If they knew he was that stressed and injured, why didn't anyone call us so we could pick him up immediately instead of keeping him there for hours without notifying us? When we got him home, the whites of his eyes were extremely red and bloodshot. He appeared completely traumatized. He wouldn't eat or drink and just sat there staring off into space, which is completely out of character for him. Our other dog also came home limping. We specifically brought them in for a flea dip--not to have them sitting there for hours. It appeared that the dogs that had a grooming that day are all brought in first thing in the morning and then kept there while they work through them. The lack of communication was unacceptable. If a dog is injured or experiencing significant stress, owners deserve to be informed immediately--not only after they notice an injury themselves and ask about it. Our dogs came home looking and acting worse than when we dropped them off, and we were left feeling that their well-being was not the priority. Based on our experience, we will never return, and I cannot recommend Heather's Dog Grooming to anyone who loves their dogs.
