I tried to use this service but i could not get any answers the owner kept saying ummmm....

I have been working with Calmputer Consulting Services for well over a decade now. Russell Jackman is my "Go To Computer Guy". In this age of the internet, don't we all feel we can figure out the world around usand how to do complicated things? Type "antivirus software" into Google for example, and voila... 12 million pages of answers! Uh... hold on a minute... those 12 million pages of answers and/or 2 thousand product reviews require time and investigation. Not to mention focused energy to decipher all the relevant from the irrelevant information. Overload! So after a year of struggling to make my computer safe, I finally called Russell to come to my office. WOW O WOW, what a difference an hour and half can make! He installed antivirus software along with file shredding software, password management software, and email encryption software. Plus I have a huge sense of relief because my files are being backed up in the clouds. He addressed all my needs in one easy session. We found 3 viruses on my computer.... now blasted into the stratosphere. Woot! Russell is VERY patient and has excellent training skills (thank you Russell for not making me feel like an idiot! LOL). I have used Russell many times over the years. He has always proved to be a real bargain in that he usually takes an hour to solve problems. Russell Jackman is a life saver! I'm very dependent on my computer, but I know nothing about the technology in my PC. Earlier this year, I got a virus and was freaking out. I'd gotten Russell's name from a colleague about 4 years ago. I phoned him and he met me in just a couple of hours at 5 PM. The next morning at 9 AM my computer was returned all cleaned up. What a relief. Since my PC was XP, I recently consulted with Russell and bought a terrific Toshiba laptop. I had a virus infect my computer that caused Internet Explorer to repeatedly open new windows to a website called TradeRush.com. It opened them faster than I could close them, rendering my computer useless. I left a message with Russell, he called me back immediately, was at my house in 20 minutes, solved the problem, cleaned up some other problem areas and installed a Windows security program to prevent this from happening in the future -- all in less than an hour! read more

Nothing is worse than having a computer crash. Nothing is better than finding out Russell set up your external hard drive to save every new file everyday so nothing was lost. OMG! What a relief. Russell got me set up putting all my many, many, many files of data onto a new computer, connecting everything, setting up security, etc. and I was back in action. This is so much better than that pit in your stomach when you think you just became one of those people who just lost everything! But nope. I came to Russell in a PANIC! A tech support scammer took control of my computer, evidently from some remote place in India. I also had missing data files which had been deleted by an overwrite after a mandatory product update. I was in full freak-out mode! I have been using Russell at Calputers for ~6 years. He is always prompt at setting up appointments (greatly appreciated since I'm usually in a panic!). This will be a long one but PLEASE READ!!!! My HP laptop would turn on but the screen was black I called Russell Jackman and he hypothesized that the problem was with the mother board. He recommended another laptop and my husband purchased it right away. That laptop seems fine and was a good deal. When Russell came to my house to set up my new computer he seemed really nice and at that time he felt my old HP could be fixed. This is where we run into problems, I waited 4 days before I called and left a message. He returned my call the next day and stated he had left the computer with a buddy for repair but didn't think anything could be done. I asked for the computer to then be returned to me and he seemed genuinely annoyed that I asked for it to be returned and said "I don't know what you'd want it for". This was Friday and he said he could return it Sunday but he was really not happy. I then received another call about an hour later stating that his friend could fix the laptop for 150 but by this time I felt something was fishy. I asked to hold off on the repair until a later date and again simply asked for by laptop back in it's current condition. At that point he told be he could no longer bring it on Sunday that Wednesday was the best he could do. Wednesday came and went no calls no computer, I phoned Thursday and he told me no can do if you want it back you'll have to pick it up yourself. I currently have a broken ankle and cannot drive which he knows. I ultimately sent my mother over to his house which is about 5 miles from my house. Can anyone else read between the lines with this guy. I wonder how many other people never got their equipment back and I wonder where that equipment is now. BOTTOM FEEDER!! read more
