No passport, no layover, just pure, unfiltered authenticity. The carne asada was so tender it apologized for being delicious. The papusas? I heard angels singing in Spanish and they were harmonizing with the sizzle from the grill. Service was FAST, kind, and genuinely happy to see us, which is rare in 2026. Also: there were adorable kids playing in the background and it made the whole place feel like someone's abuela's kitchen on a Sunday. I wanted to adopt the entire vibe and live there. As with all Sheetz - you place your order at a digital kiosk - which spits out a receipt - that one then takes up to the register. Paid with Apple Pay. Food came up quickly - they call your order number out over a PA system to advise it is ready for pickup. First time I've seen that at a Sheetz! Food was hot and tasty! #Sheetz

It was frustrating to be put in this position, especially since I followed the ordering process correctly. The inventory issue was clearly not my responsibility. However, being on a tight schedule and needing the ham for the holiday, I felt pressured to pay an additional $17 to upgrade to the larger size. This situation could have been handled much better from a customer service standpoint. Offering the 10-pound ham at the originally purchased 8-pound price would have been a reasonable solution and would have avoided unnecessary frustration. Unfortunately, there wasn't time to debate the issue in the moment.
