We got the movers waters throughout the day and tipped them well towards the end. We left when they had packed everything but our bed as it was getting late and they were almost done. We put our valuables away in our bathrooms and shut the doors. When we arrived back a couple hours later, they team was fine. All of our items had been rummaged through. I am now missing 2 diamond rings from my jewelry box, an heirloom gold necklace from my grandmother, Beats headphones, cash, and Visa Gift Cards. We have filed a police report, but we all know how long that takes in Chicago. I do not recommend or advise using this company as we had meaningful and valuable items missing.

They were a bit slow to respond at first, but were very helpful in helping us prep for the move to reduce cost (making sure all is packed, having boxes of similar size stacked together because that's how they move them - by size and not by room designation). And they hustled. The moved ended up taking longer than we anticipated (lots of stairs!) but they ended up charging us less than we thought - they stopped by for lunch on the way to the new place and didn't charge us for that time. I don't believe they're insured, so not sure if I would recommend them if you have a lot of stuff. But they took good care of our IKEA stuff and I will use them again next time we move.

Enrique did agree to move the fridge, but for $625 because it is a subzero (the smallest model, single door, 36x84x24). That is higher than other movers by about $175, but we were in a bind from cancellations and needed it done asap so we said ok. We confirmed many times it would be a box truck since the fridge needs to be moved upright. Enrique showed up with an suv and a trailer despite the promise in writing of a box truck - the truck was part of his justification for the high fee. He did not text or call before to give us the option to cancel since it wasn't what we agreed to. He just showed up knowing we were stuck and would be forced to move it that way. We had sold our condo and it already closed - the buyer was doing us a favor by letting us pick up the fridge post-close, since we had two last minute mover cancellations/no show. We agreed to $625 on the condition of a box truck, not a trailer attached to an suv. Enrique knew we were in a tough spot. He essentially forced our hand by threatening to leave the fridge stranded if we didn't agree to the trailer instead of the box truck on the spot. It basically amounts to a "light" version of extortion/coercion. We were ok to pay for the service agreed to, but that is not what we received. He also damaged the fridge and then actually tried to leave with the damaged piece saying he would fix it and bring it back - yeah right. Enrique was extremely rude from arrival to departure, even after he damaged the fridge. It was an awful experience.

The worry was for no reason though because Kellan set me up with two movers at 8:30 on Easter Sunday and called me a few times before the move to confirm. The movers Al and Stanley showed up precisely on time with a large moving box and tons of dollies. They moved our entire bed room and dissembled the bed and wrapped the mattresses and TVs to protect all of our things. They then helped us move into our next place reassembling the bed better than it was before(no creaks). They moved our heavy heavy boxes easily. They damaged no walls and were more than friendly during the entire move. I have moved multiple times in my life and I have to say these guys were the most professional, affordable, and easy movers I have utilized.
