    How is that for everything!

One of the best bagel sandwiches I've ever had in my life. Friendly staff great prices. We got pastrami egg and cheese on an everything! The Strokes playing in the background. Perfect.

Boars Head Ham, Egg and Cheese - Two sandwiches with ham and cheese, wrapped in foil, are being held inside a car, with the steering wheel and dashboard visible in the background.

Favorite breakfast sandwich in boston! hole in the wall spot - VERY fresh and delicious every time. also super clean cooking area & family run :)

Everything Bagel with Sausage, Bacon, Egg, and Cheese

This is a local deli shop in the South End that had great reviews off Yelp so we wanted to try it out. I had the Bacon, Sausage, egg and cheese on the Everything Bagel. It def hit the spot!!! Haven't tried the other food on menu but it's a must try lunch and dinner now. Great experience and friendly service.

Cracked pepper Turkey sub! - A turkey sub sandwich with sliced turkey, lettuce, and bread, served on white paper, likely from a deli or sandwich shop.

Wanted to check out this gem because they have boars head brand cold cuts and it was really awesome !!! Got a cracked pepper boars head Turkey sub with veggies, hots and dressing, it was super delicious and bread was great and fresh as well. Really happy to have found it and will be going lots more! Owner was a rly sweet man as well! :) there is also a cute park right next to it where you can eat your sandwiches!

Steak and Cheese Boars Head Sandwich - A person holds a slice of pie with a flaky crust and filling, with a smiling man giving a thumbs-up in the background.

Based on the glowing reviews on here I decided to try this deli out. My expectations were far from met. I got a steak and cheese. The sandwich was small, had almost no meat in it, I'm not even sure it was steak (?). To top it off, this "sandwich" ended up setting me back $16!! Unbelievable price tag for what I received. This sandwich made me download yelp so I could write this review.

pastrami sandwich - A sandwich with sliced meats, cheese, lettuce, tomato, and pickles is held in a person's hand, with a paper bag and a table in the background.

Stopped by here after a day in the city. I love little sandwich/deli shops so i was super excited to stop by here. The guy behind the counter was so so nice and welcoming. Loved chatting with him and he helped me order. I knew i wanted a pastrami sandwich bc that's what's popular. I trusted him and told him to make it the way he makes it! Such a nice and friendly experience. We ended up going across the street to the park to eat the sandwich. it was smaller than expected and not filled with pastrami like you would expect. But the flavor was good and the bread was great. 4 stars for experience and a classic sandwich. Sandwich was decent and i would try an italian sandwich next time. Def would go back, very cute spot. And VERY clean!!!

Awesome little deli with kind, fast working staff, delicious sandwiches, and courtesy customers. I ordered a tuna wrap, got to customize what the tuna was mixed with, and it hit the spot. Would highly recommend if you're looking for a good old sandwich, and it was under $10!

Half of my tasty ham and egg sandwich ($5)

The strawberries and banana balanced it out so it didn't feel too heavy. Portion size was solid--borderline dessert-for-breakfast, but in a good way. Coffee was decent, nothing crazy. Place is small and gets packed, so expect a wait. Overall: great spot if you want something sweet and indulgent for brunch.

I stopped by in the early afternoon this past Monday with my top-tier chum who literally went to the school of hospitality. This establishment is pretty close to a prior Airbnb we've stayed at and is in a neighborhood we've spent a solid amount of time in, so it's been off and on our radar for a few years. I'm pretty sure we attempted to stop by on an earlier trip but it was too busy - a tribute to the restaurant for sure. Two elements stood out to me almost immediately when we walked in, one good, one bad. On a positive note, the service was excellent - that came across in waves. This is a busy restaurant in a tourist area, and nine out of 10 times, the hospitality would suffer as a result. Not here; we were warmly received as soon as we walked in and were consistently attended to throughout our visit. Top notch in that regard. Con? Personal preference on my end, it just felt kind of grimy in there, like it had taken on the personality of its neighborhood, which is in my opinion not the best and has a homeless issue. There's definitely some personality in there - some gorgeous wood paneling and whatnot - but it was a little too chaotic/claustrophobic for me. I think there's a way they could upgrade the interior without compromising the uniqueness of Cafe Bonjour. I was at the part of our mini-vacation where I didn't necessarily have regrets over my food naughtiness, but my palate definitely needed some legitimate nourishment. I opted for the Signature Blueberry Bowl,, which predictably featured a great many blueberries, and was essentially an acai bowl interpretation with bananas and peanut butter (similar to the Acai Power Bowl at Playa Bowls). It was fine - good portion for what it was. I think they should have made it more...solid, if that makes sense. Like make the blended blueberry aspect quasi frozen so it had more substance to it. Without doing so, it just seemed too liquidy and harder to eat as a result. It was also a little bland and could have used an additional ingredient or two, and the hunks of peanut butter were difficult to blend into the bowl, so sometimes you'd end up inadvertently getting nothing but a mouthful of peanut butter. Not the best, but also probably not their biggest menu selling point. For what it's worth, my chum loved her dish (I think she got the Bennies) and enjoyed her time here immensely. This is one I'd like a do-over on and would be more than willing to come back with a better appetite and revisit - I don't know that my opinions on the vibe/atmosphere are going to change (though maybe some of that is dependent on the weather and this place really shines when the sun is out), but I probably didn't get the best that Cafe Bonjour has to offer.

I would have done the same with my eggs, potatoes and Turkey sausage but I couldn't eat another bite. I wish we had a North Street Grille here but perhaps it's better that I not have easy access to the quality of food otherwise I'd need a new bigger size wardrobe. If in Boston this is an ABSOLUTE MUST HAVE. If we had room and weren't leaving town the same night we'd have bought the banana bread. They provide complementary for each table and it's one of the bestest most beautifully made banana breads I've had. Service was fast and friendly. It's a cute and quaint little place packed to gills with people which is fine because everyone is friendly and the food is divine!!!!

The French toast was absolutely outstanding!! Easily one of the best I've ever had. Perfectly cooked, rich, and flavorful, it's a must-order and alone makes this place worth visiting. The huevos rancheros were decent, but not quite at the same level. They felt a bit less authentic than expected, and the hot sauce option was limited to Tabasco. I think a more traditional, homemade Mexican-style salsa would have elevated the dish significantly and made it shine. Because of that, I'm giving North Street Grille 4 stars. The French toast is phenomenal, and with a little more attention to authenticity on certain savory dishes, this spot could easily be a 5-star brunch destination. I'd definitely come back! Especially for the French toast.
