Bought a short-sale home 12-14. Moved in and discover much more work than I expected. Just completed the major stuff so this is just one of my many yelp reviews. Night one of new home...cold (29 degrees), windy (60 mph Santa Ana) and heater is on but I was freezing! Got out of bed at 4:30 am and noticed that front door and living room windows had rattled open. Taped windows shut and shoved chair against the door! Called several contractors for quotes and installation dates. Went with Cal Showcase for quality, price, delivery and knowledge of their product and purchasing options. I choose to do part of my projects through the HERO Program and part in cash as I had a ton of stuff to do and it had to be done in stages over several months. I had no idea how much I would have to do! 1. Windows and doors - Decided on top of the line 5 windows, a sliding door and front door. 3 days later measurements were taken and 3 weeks later installers were here promptly at the appointment time and had all installed in 5 1/2 hours! I was thrilled with the attention to detail and the efficiency of the crew. All were courteous, respectful and left my home cleaner than when they arrived. The windows are beautiful and my new neighbors were grateful for the improvement. Sound reduction, lower heating cost and PRETTY! 2. Ductwork and insulation - (after a gutted and completely remodeled kitchen which included raising a ceiling). Again the crew was here at the appointed time and worked for 5 hours. Insulation is a messy job but the crew cleaned everything but my closets! Big difference in my gas bill. We also had a few really warm days over April and May and I was amazed at how low my cooling cost were and more sound reduction! 3. Patio cover - again measurements were taken promply and Dave the installer had it up in just a few hours. My yard was clean and ready for my girls night BBQ! And my house was so much cooler with the old one gone (it had a big hole in the cover and the sun came through right into my new back sliding door and the window the "gardener" broke). 4. OOPS! Gardener (that would be me) threw a rock into the new kitchen window with the weed eater. Called to check out my warranty (wanted to take that baby for a spin) and to my surprise it was promptly replaced. 5. HVAC - Yep it was HOT this summer and the 1976 unit gave up the ghost in the middle of 104 degree days! Cal Showcase HELP! Enter Billy the magnificent and crew. Three days later I have a new system with the outside unit moved to a more convenient location on my property and as I run a small business in my garage I now have ducts and vents there! No more fans in the summer or space heaters in the winter and as this was August I was so grateful that he did a thorough job of finding out my needs before just installing a system! And again when they left my house was as if they had never been here (except for the air conditioning and now that I have had a few months with it my electric bill is lower than before. AND again, it is so quiet! Everyone at California Showcase has made me feel like family and I do believe "Their most important job...was MINE! My "diamond in the rough" is now one of the "jewels" of the neighborhood! And my neighbors are happy to see the improvements! OH, I forgot to mention the new paint and roof! As longtime customers of California Showcase Construction, we couldn't be happier with the company. We've had them replace all our windows and doors, our HVAC, and just recently, our roof. In every case they exceeded our expectations. With every job, the workers arrived on time, finished ahead of schedule and left our place cleaner than they found it. They were so respectful of our home. I wouldn't have thought white-glove service was possible in construction! We especially love the Anlin windows and sliding doors they installed. They make our home so much quieter, cleaner, and safer. How much energy did we save? The first year, our Edison level billing went down every month, but even so, after a year the power company owed US so much money that we paid nothing for seven months. And three of those months were summer (in the desert, highs up to 120)! The second year when our level billing came due for adjustment, we got 4 free months. And that's with electricity rates rising. You will find that initial estimates from California Showcase won't be lowball bids. We've seen many of our neighbors choose what they thought would be the cheapest option, only to have weeks or more of headaches and cost overruns. In our experience, when California Showcase gives you an estimate, it's a realistic one, and the cost doesn't go up from there. Also, it matters to us that California Showcase is licensed, insured, and bonded. It matters that their workers are experienced teams who know and work well with each other. Finally, we have learned over time that we can rely on them. They include excellent warranties and they honor them with quick, friendly service. read more

Company Review Sales Cycle The salesperson came to the house at the appointed time and discussed the options for the roof and how the roof would be installed, and showed off the materials used. I am not a roofer, nor do I play one on TV, but I have had my fair share of helping other do roof repair and am fairly well set in that respect (I loathe it). The materials he showed are a much improved set of what I am used to (good old tar, shingles and more tar) and I said "sure" (50 year warranty didn't hurt). He contacted the HERO program and got everything dealt with right there and then, we discussed windows (not in the budget at that time) and Solar Panels, the salesperson stated that he didn't feel comfortable without a years worth of electric bills to plan the panels appropriately (good man on that one). We buffered up the bill a little because of the wood rot that was very well pronounced along a couple of the edges, and we waited. Installation Cycle There were a few push backs to the schedule (my roof wasn't leaking except for a few outside areas that was only evident by the wood rot along the edge of edging)... but when they started, it was a truly whirl wood cycle... within a day they had the almost all of the old roofing off, and were starting to repair the sections that were not so well off. The lead of the team discussed why there was wood rot in the edges (previous installation didn't add the drip guard). After the second day, they had already started putting the new roofing material up and were well into the process. On the third day, they were done. I am very happy with the work I had done at my home by California Showcase Construction. I just had new windows put in and a Tex-Coat painted on the outside of my home. Both crews that worked on my house were just wonderful, very clean with their work areas and respectful and very kind when I asked questions about any of the work. To have the owner of the company himself come over and re-measure the windows just to be absolute with the measurements of the job, thank you Brian for coming by. No Complaints here! This company is amazing! I have nothing but good things to say about these guys! First of all the field marketer that came to my door was amazing! The person who called me to confirm the appointment was amazing at calming my nerves. He called a couple days prior to the appointment and was able to answer any questions with regards to the financing options I had available. Then he explained to me on how their intentions were to just leave me with a good enough impression to where hopefully they may eventually earn my business. Boy was he right! The representative who came to leave me the quote was outstanding! He ended quoting on 10 windows and 2 sliders. I was left in awe when he showed no objection at all from my decision to just move forward with the 2 sliders. My reasons for doing this was because I needed those primarily and I also wanted to see the kind of work they did. After getting the windows measured by the owner of the company, and getting them installed by their install crew. Their crew did an amazing and clean job. They were just as professional and detail oriented as everyone that I mentioned. So now I'm left with remorse of not getting the rest done. They will be hearing from me soon! read more

My husband and I have been in our home since 1996 and for the last several years our windows have been allowing air and dust in the house. We knew that new windows were needed desperately and knew that the purchase of new windows could be far beyond our financial affordability, so, we just dealt with the problem year after year...year after year. One day we got a call from a young man named Joshua representing "California Windows Construction Show Case." Wednesday set an appointment with him all the while KNOWING we could not afford their services...but hey, what the heck, it doesn't cost anything to listen, right? Well to our surprise, he showed us how we could afford it with NO out of pocket cost! Joshua was a great representative and comprehensively educated us on the windows,the company, and many of the companies in that field. Clearly the products and performance of those other companies are inferior to California Windows Construction Show Case. The crew that installed the windows were well groomed, polite, and efficiently professional. We are immensely happy with the complete process, and even more so with the financial commitment. We had seen the work this company did 2 doors down and liked what we saw. They were canvassing the neighborhood a couple of months later and we set up a quote. Nick came out, very friendly and not pushy. Explained everything, took the measurements and set us up with the Hero program. The owner came out a few days later and did the final measurements. Once the windows were ready, we had to postpone twice due to rain. On the day of installation, a crew of 9 showed up, very pleasant, very helpful. They started at 8:30 and were out by 2 PM. They had it down to a science and did a great job. We have one very tall, arched window, and the window was manufactured perfectly. Other than some light dust, everything was cleaned up and the blinds reinstalled. The quality of the Anlin windows is great and from the first night, we noticed how much less our heater had to cycle, and the outside noise level is greatly reduced. All in all, a very smooth process. i would recommend. read more

I didn't think I was in the market for new windows until Matthew knocked on my door and told me they were scheduling free estimates in my area. I live in Fontana and I get those Santa Ana winds that rattle the windows and let lots and lots and lots of dirt get in my house. Nick came to my home and showed me just what new windows can do for me...boy, was he right! I used the Heros program and was able to get 10 windows and 1 glass door done with my 1st payment due next year. The gentlemen that came to do the install were so professional and got the job done in just a few hours (they even took great care with my older Chihuahua, Princess to make sure she wasn't too scared with strangers in the house) The windows are BEAUTIFUL and guess what...I have not had to sweep my tile floors every day like before, no dirt, no dust!! Had California Showcase Construction come out and give an estimate on windows and doors. I wasn't really "sold" on spending the money but once I heard what he had to say and the things I read on the products and the company, I decided to spend the money. 26 windows and one slider door later, I had them back out to replace a balcony door. The job was quick and efficient and done to my standards (I'm pretty much OCD). The crew worked the entire time they were here. No smoking, no cussing, just having a good time while they did their job. The process was very organized (even with me following them around asking questions and talking). I had very little debris leftover. The little I had was found hiding under leaves or in cracks in the patio. Very pleased with the customer service, attention to detail and product installed. Everyone we spoke with or dealt with was attentive to what I had to say. Top notch job! read more

I had a lot Anlin widows installed and 3 sliding doors, they did an amazing job making sure we were happy even when my wife and I wasn't sure want we wanted because we asked them to add 2 windows for us and move 1 window over. Than we didn't like that and we asked them just to close 1 of the windows and make it a complete wall. I honestly thought when I talked to Eric that we weren't happy and he had to talk to Brian. I was going to get a phone call that I would have to pay more to make the changes that we wanted. Instead got a call telling me will do what we need to make you guys happy. I really appreciate that because it makes the customer feel more than a contract that California showcase would go the extra mile for us. I will recommend them to every one I know . From start to finish Ray (salesman), measuring of windows & doors by Brian, (company owner), removal of wood siding and stucco replacement around two windows and a build up of one door Laszlo and his team (construction foreman), to the final installation team led by Eric and his installers we have to admit, we were expecting there to be issues along the way and were super shocked that everything went smoothly! This company understands Customer Experience! Each person we worked with in each step of our project was courteous and professional, they really knew what they were doing, especially the installation team. These guys worked so well together, like they were family that at the end of the project I wanted to give them all a hug because it turned out to be a stress free experience with all my questions answered, and they cleaned up as they went along. Great customer service Marisa was awesome setting up initial consultation. Doug was great and very knowledgable of his product, ( didn't seem like a sales pitch). He also answered all my questions and helped me chose the right Windows. Erik and his crew kicked butt!They were very professional! He called prior to showing up to my house the day of installation and was ON TIME! His crew cleaned up after they were done. Erik went over my warranty and gave me a walk through and showed how everything worked, from how to lock Windows, how to clean them. I was very happy with the experience. We had windows, and sliders installed in 2013. They have made a Huge difference in noise reduction, our air conditioning bill was drastically reduced, and the workmanship of the product has been great! We recently discovered a very small stress fracture in one window. Called and was treated so kindly by their staff. They ordered a replacement and delivered it quicker than estimated.The guys Andrew and Anthony who came out took care of things. Recently had new windows installed in a 30 yr. old house that were already double-paned. What a difference! We have had over 100 degree weather for some time, and the difference is obvious. I had all the windows replaced in my house a few months ago and I couldn't be happier with the way they came out. The whole experience was exceptional. The Windows look amazing! Everyone we dealt with at the company were awesome. Brian, the owner of the company, came out to measure all of our windows and slider.
