The customer service shown to us by Elio, the General Manager sold us on the deal when he came out and measured all the windows and doors. The most unprofessional company I've ever dealt With. Their sales representative came to my house when my wife answered the door he said, did you know I was coming and my wife did not know and he started shaking his head and made a disrespectful face already very unprofessional as a disbelief that she didn't know. He then met with me and my wife acted like he was our best friend until we got to pricing and I explained to him that they are way overpriced and that I needed a better deal. He mentioned his commission, the entire sales pitch saying that he makes 10% commission and that he won't be getting any commission that he gives me the deal that I have to take today. Super high-pressure sales pitch. He was extremely rude and unprofessional. He had the audacity to get up out of my table, aggressively, and say I'm not gonna allow you to insult me and disrespect me by asking for a better deal.... He showed his true colors when I asked him that I needed more time to think about it and he was trying to rush us to get to buy it right then and there. I'm glad I read other reviews on Yelp and other platforms that these guys are terrible are very unprofessional. I even called the owner. OK, so here's my review this company did my windows twice. The first time they did a great job. The second time they did an OK job due to the fact that they did not come back to Repair some minor details in the final product after being disappointed with them, I looked for other companie that installed this window, found a company and realize that I had paid way too much for these windows through California showcase. The need for windows came out of nowhere to be honest. But when Eli came and gave his demonstration we were sold! Very honest and upfront about everything. Fast forward to day of installation.. they came full force with a team of about 6. They got the job done under 6 hrs! Which was surprising because they originally thought 2 days. Everything and anything was wrong scratches that was covered up, whole patio not slimed up with house one side of the patio lower then the other side. No drain put on a vaulted side so water just builds up in corner. They didn't use the proper tools and left all the trash and scrap for my dogs to get cuts and screws in paws. Over the years, anytime I had a question, needed an adjustment, or wanted to add something, they've always been there for me. I was referred to by my friend who had just had his windows done. He passed before I got mine. But I called them set an appointment and knew this was the company to go with. I just had Anlin windows installed today. They are beautiful. I'm absolutely in love with them. From the first phone call up until the installers left, I had the best customer service. They are all really professional and know what they are selling you. I had my windows installed in less than 5 weeks after Brian came out to take measurements. My windows look beautiful I know they added to the value of my home. I only have a couple minor issues one screen in restroom has a snag. on a Saturday i made an appointment with a door knocker for someone to come back to my home on a Tuesday to provide me with an in home estimate. On monday a receptionist called to confirm the appointment and stated that both my wife and i would need to be present and at which i decided to cancel the appointment. The lady said she would keep the appointment and would pass it on to the manager. about an hour later she called back to cancel the appt but stated that her manager would be calling me personally to discuss. About 4 hours later that day a gentlemen Eli contacted me. Full on salesmen pitch very polite at first. But then instead of asking when we could scheuled preceeded to say "well if you go to home depot you can find the windows we will install". well why don't i just hire home depot then? I let him continue on with his sales pitch. At about the time that Eli stated that when he was in the area and had time he would come by my home at any given time to provide an in home estimate. I ended the phone call letting him know that i would find another company. That was only the beggining, his professionalism and customer service went beyond that when he had to get in his last word by sending a text 5 minutes later because i hung up on him. And then deciding to argue via text. If you want a company that provides customer service and treats you fairly keep looking. I don't recommend simply off the first impression. read more

OMG, "David" just left my house for an estimate, what a nightmare that guy was. I literally had to kick him out of my house. He was rude and condescending, and actually laughed under his breath when I told him I didn't need a super expensive window. I'm still in shock of the nerve of this guy and how rude he was. I told him I didn't want to waste his time to write out the quote for $6800 for one sliding glass door, but he said "my time is already wasted, I had to drive all the way out here". Geez... We are remodeling our whole house and been through a lot of contractors. BEWARE about letting these people in your home! Yesterday evening, a salesman "Josh" was invited into our home and after a long talk about the service, financing eligibility, and then the cost my mother-in-law was not ready to make the decision. The salesman started to get upset asking what he had spent the last two hours explaining and "doing it all for". Doing what for?! Your job!! He started to then pressure my mother-in-law to sign the paperwork for the loan for a new AC, saying she would have three days to decline. Even going as far as to say he was "Christian" and other completely irrelevant ways to gain her trust into signing. She was not ready to make the decision and it was getting late so I stepped in and recommended that once we had time to review the information and see if it was doable we would call back. He continued to insist that he had gone above and beyond to get the financing and how hard it was to get a loan for her. Well, now that doesn't make sense. If she is approved for a loan today, she will be approved tomorrow. The salesman continued to get angry and disrespectful when she didn't want to sign. It was a horrible experience to have him speak that way in our own home. I asked the man to leave. This company is FISHY!!! No one should be pressuring you into signing anything. read more

We decided to have a window installed in our dining room to help open up the space. We also have been working on a kitchen remodel and wanted a new window to replace the dated worn window that was already there. It was only an idea but when we met with Josh and he walked us through everything we decided that the price seemed reasonable, the quality seemed excellent, and the customer service seemed amazing. The owner Brian came out for the measurements and it was obvious he new his stuff and stood by his product/installation process. We were in touch to set up the installation and about 3 weeks later we set the install date. The installer Eric and his crew were incredibly professional and efficient and got the work done mostly in one day with precision touch ups the following day. They were personable and discussed the project with me, and they completed the work, cleaned up, and explained care and next steps for the window. Eric also explained the warranty process and it's awesome that these windows are covered for current owners and the next owner should we ever move (definitely a good selling point if we do decide). Overall I was very happy with the process. I read some other reviews and it's a shame that they rated one star because of the initial rep disturbing them. I understand and don't condone unwanted solicitors, but those reviews in no way reflect the quality of the company and their work and I highly recommend these installers and their product. read more

Over the last decade, Cal. Showcase has updated all my windows, installed a new French door, and replaced a slider. Those experiences were great! When I signed a new agreement for a patio cover on April 7, 2022, I expected the same great product, communication, and installation. Today is September 25, 2022, and I still do not have a patio cover, and the last 5 months have proven that Cal. Showcase has become a company that cannot keep their word, and does not care to serve their customers. 1. On April 7, I received a quote to redo my patio cover. The quote was much much higher than I expected, but I am aware that costs have universally increased. Cal. Showcase threw in the promise to complete the job by June 30, so I could enjoy it all summer. They also reassured that Cal. Showcase uses only their OWN employees, and that I could save money by removing my own patio cover. 2. I removed my own patio cover in May, then took most all of my summer vacation days to be home during the construction. I was off the final two weeks of June, and there was no install, and no contact. When someone finally called me, the promise was "your patio cover is in one of our trucks. We'll call you soon." 3. In July, the project manager called me and apologized. Cal. Showcase was also suffering similar delays as most of us - Covid struggles, family members suffering through illness, and material delays. I was told that my project was essentially pushed aside, and that it would be done in late-July or early August. In the meantime, my patio furniture becomes sun-bleached, and my house bakes daily with no shade. The grass under the old patio cover has all died. 3. July passed by, and I call to inquire, again, for any update. I am told someone will call, but the call never comes. I wait weeks and then I call again, and someone eventually comes by, takes measurements, and promises the job will be easy (2 days). Even though the employee is NOT from Cal. Showcase, the gentleman is proficient & confident that the job is easy & will be done in 6-8 weeks. Cal. Showcase has outsourced their work, so I am a bit concerned with my previous agreement. I reached out to the project manager. 4. Each time I reach out to the project manager, I receive a text stating I will receive a call later. This never happens. Then I text again insisting I need to talk to the project manager, but I am pushed aside and receive a call from the hired contractor. He does not have any insight regarding the original contract, and he cannot provide an ETA for the project. I ask questions that prompt some research, and a return call. I DID get a call back, but the explanation of what is happening with my patio cover cannot be explained in any way I understood. At this point, I've been 5 months without a patio cover. Cal Showcase lied about getting the project done by June 30 to pressure me into a costly project. The salesman has since retired. I had to tear down my own patio to save some money, waste my summer days off, and buy two fans (for the install) that are sitting in my garage (I doubt I can return them 5 months later). My summer air cost increased a ton, and my patio table is now faded. I fully understand that the previous few years have been difficult. I understand delay in materials. I understand employees needing quarantine. With Cal. Showcase, it's unfortunate that lack of communication & integrity has been the prominent side effect. It's Sept. 25, 2022, and I don't know what is even happening with my patio cover. I am unsure if I can go with another company. I am unsure if I use another company, I will then have Cal. Showcase show up with custom-measured product. This synopsis does not fully detail the ghosting I've received. "I'll call you later..." has been the company's tagline. Back in April, if I was told the project wouldn't be done until the fall, I would've said "no." However, I would've gone back to Cal. Showcase again and again (like I have), because the work they produce is great! At this point, I have a full future ahead. I have more houses to buy, and children who will all buy houses as well. We will all look for companies who will keep their word ... and at least call with honest updates when circumstances beyond control force an agreement to be broken. read more

So Brian was great when he came out! The worker's were good but twords the end of the job it just seemed like they were over it. My husband had to go buy wood for framing that we were under the impression would be supplied for us. If we had know that they would be putting smooth pieces and the original pieces have texture. They did ask if we wanted texture but we felt like the guy in charge just didn't want to hassle with more work.. If we knew we'd have to pay for it we would have prepared to get enough for the whole house. The day of installation I spent the afternoon wiping dirty hand prints off the walls throughout the house. Then we requested a paint estimate since the frames now look like crap. Then we never got a call for that estimate. The windows are great but I guess I expected more based on how Brian explained everything. We will be looking for another company to paint the house. Everyone experience is different. First, the guy knocked on my door to advertised the company. I just purchased my home and realize my patio door was broken so I agree to have a sales person come out to provide me a quote. I actually wanted the doors with the blinds in the inside, but they didn't offer this.. I eventually signed the paperwork, however, when I went to home depot I seen the patio doors I wanted. I immediately called to cancel. Didn't have any problems. Well Home Depot came out and they wanted about 3,000 more and Anderson's lost their freaking mind.. So I called this company back up and said "yeah I'm sorry can I get that contract back? " well the owner comes out and said "we did these doors not to long ago for the previous owners" I said oh I didn't know.. The sales person did tell me they did the windows, however, the owner asked me what was wrong. I said it's broken.. He said no it's not and showed me what to do. I had to lift the handle and it locks. I owe him big. He saved me thousands because of his honesty. There are still good companies and this owner for sure is one of them.. He could have did what everyone else who came and got my money.. The bad side is I had to call my realtor and apologize because I was not nice in the email when I thought the door was broken.. Don't work with these guys. Some middle aged Caucasian lady in knee high green jean shorts came to my door asking if the home owner was at home. I said yes and asked them to wait. When my dad said he was not interested I told the lady "Sorry he is not interested". She immediately turns around and storms off. I hear her under her breath saying "I didn't think so" as shes walking away. I did not want to start anything, so I just closed the door. Should've expect it she had that "let me speak to your manager" look. If she is treating others this way, I would be skeptical of how she treats actual customers. My initial contact with California Showcase Construction was with Sanitago through their website. He was professional, personable, and appeared knowledgeable when answering my questions. Consequently, I agreed to a sales presentation for Anlin windows; their sales representative, Ken was sent to my home. I (my husband) had taken meticulous measurements of the 14 windows (of 22) we wanted replaced. Ken did not use our measurements and proceeded to take his own measurements of the windows we wanted replaced. However, he said there was a requirement or law in CA that certain cities required measurements of all windows in the house, regardless if they were being replaced or not, and proceeded to go through my house to measure all the windows. Yet he could confirm if my city fell under this law. I have not been able verify the legitimacy of this, nor has any subsequent vendor verified it. When scheduling this appointment, I informed Sanitago I had to leave home by 3:00 for an appointment. Ken arrived at 12:00 p.m., took a 20 minute break outside in his car, returned and spent time in our bathroom. We reminded him we had to leave for an appointment. It was 3:05 p.m. when he left. I did not select California Showcase Construction for my replacement windows, primarily due the experience with their sales representative, plus their cost proposal exceeded our budget and what was proposed by other vendors for the same work. read more

The sales people for this company are quite shady. I mistakenly gave them my number when we fist purchased our home for a quote for a pergola. They kept calling and calling and I asked if I could get a ballpark figure for what they run - simple 40'x10'. They should have basic pricing range...oh no the schedulers cannot assist and when you ask for a sales person to call you they want a 3 hour appointment as they need to see it in person... Months passed after I asked them to stop calling.. Now they have the names of all of us on title.. and ask for each. I called today and asked them to stop this harassing behavior. MARKETER HARASSMENT On Thursday at about 1:30pm April 18th 2019, one of your marketers walked up (to my thankfully gated house.) He proceeded to introduce himself and begin his business spiel. As I told him "this is my parents house I will pass the information along", I uncomfortably walk away... He stops me and says, I just have to say you are a beautiful woman.. I say thank you and again walk away! (My privacy feels violated as I am just trying trying to enjoy a nice day on the porch on MY property.) He then stops me AGAIN and says, "I myself am looking for a beautiful woman". I said thank you again! But this is entirely inappropriate and ESPECIALLY when you are on the job! Realizing he had just given me his information he walked away. Although it seems like a polite interaction, it IS completely inappropriate and uncalled for. Another follow-up from last year. To summarize, I contracted for a paint job on my house and a back patio cover in Murrieta in 2012. I began to notice that the paint on the facia boards were peeling off all around the house. In April 2019, I was contacted by California Showcase and I showed them the problem. Initially I was met with reluctance, but they took pictures...many pictures...over and over again. I offered to mitigate some of their losses as they would have to remove my back patio to complete the paint job. I told them that I wanted to expand the size of my back patio cover and wanted to put up rain gutters, which I felt would better protect the east facing sections. I was contacted by California Showcase in June and again they came out and took more pictures. They quoted a price, indicating that I would need a building inspection from the city, citing that I would have to pay $348 for the fee and another $200 for processing. Then I was told that I would have to pay for my own ceiling fan, but they would install. Another $200 and I continued to wait. I was told that the contract would be sent right away. In December, a crew came out and painted the facia boards on my house. Amazing job!!! Very satisfied. Another crew came out and installed the back patio. Looks good. I saw Angela, who gave me the documents for the building inspection, telling me that I could just schedule the appointment with the City for the inspector to come out. Another crew came out and installed part of the rain gutters. When questioned about the remainder that needed gutters, I was told by the worker that he wasn't supposed to do that part. Angela has called me twice since then regarding balance of payment. I told her that I would be happy to pay balance when job is done. Two days ago, someone from the company called me to find out when I was to pay the balance. I told her I was prepared to proceed, but wanted to talk to the owner, Brian. Here's where I am right now. Crazy spot. I don't know why it has taken almost a year for a simple two week job. And then, in spite of my efforts to work with these people, I end up with miserable results.
