This has been my second experience with Caliber Collision in less than 6 months. The first was my Honda Civic, and this month I just got my GMC Yukon fixed after some front end damage. Communication from start to finish was always great. Everybody I worked with were friendly and professional. Caliber worked great with my insurance, so all I had to worry about was drop off and pickup. I am very happy about the work they did on both vehicles. They even went above and beyond and polished the headlights on my 07 Civic. Excellent shop, would highly recommend. read more

Caliber Collision - Headlights - Body Shops Near Me - Simi Valley, California

They are GREAT! I'm a rideshare driver. So it VERY important for me to get it doe as quickly as possible. I dropped it off after closing and put my keys in the drop box so they would have a 1st thing in the morning. They preordered parts and i went in for them to match paint, they would only have to take off broken parts and putnew ones in. They had it done in 1 day! They called me about 4:45 to tell it was done. And bonus, my car was washed and sparkling clean. (I hadn't wash3it due to body damage i didn't want to break anything that was not being replaced. read more

I took my van to caliber collision to be repaired back at the end of July. They told me they had to order a number of parts and that as soon as those parts had arrived they would contact me and I would bring my van back and we would take care of my issues. I have waited for 8 weeks for them to contact me. I called them a week ago Monday, last Friday, and then again yesterday and I FINALLY was told that they could not repair my van because their bays were not tall enough to take my van into. I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR 8 WEEKS! You would think that somewhere along the line somebody could have picked up the phone and called me and let me know what was happening so that I could have the choice to take my van someplace else. Recommend? Hell no! I wouldn't take my van there if it were the last place to get it fixed. I would live with the damage! However I have already found another place who can take care of it next week! What a surprise! read more

I got Reer ended on the freeway and was told to come here for the appraisal of my car as well as to fix my car from the damages that have occurred during the accident. The appraisal went well. I dropped off my car to get fixed and was told it would be done in 2-3 days. I then went to pick up my car 2 1/2 weeks later and noticed that there were still visible damage within my car. I noticed that the bumper was not correctly put on my car, my trunk had scrapes all over it still, pieces on my trunk were still broken, and the paint on my freshly painted bumper was discolored!! They then went to buff out the paint on my bumper and it took off the paint on my bumper causing them to have to repaint the whole bumper again! I asked them to keep my car and fix it as my car was clearly not done. I went to pick up my car for the second time. Everything looked fine from the outside of my car, which was where the damage was. I got home to notice that there was paint on the interior of my car and on my leather seats and that the scrapes on my trunk was still not fixed. I then drove back for them to buff my trunk and tell me that it was not paint within the interior of my car and that it was water. Either way, they had no business being within the back seats of my car nor having my doors open and having water all over my speakers. I am not happy with any of the repairs on my car, things are still loose on my car, things still have scrape marks and they are saying there is nothing they can do about it. Make sure to take a look at the pictures and you can decide if it's paint or water on the leather seats! Update : they have reached out to me and since fixed the broken pieces on my car. Everyone has been very nice, just be aware of this before coming to the shop. read more

Wow! My car looked brand new when they were done. Unfortunately, I hit some debris on the freeway and the whole front of my car was hanging off. I had heard great things about caliber and I was recommended by my insurance company. I knew the work was guaranteed for the life of my vehicle so I gave it a shot. They kept me in the loop every step of the way and even had the car ready before I expected it. Thank you again for your great service! read more

Have been there before after some road debris tore up the front of my car. They did fine work. This time I just wanted my drivers side mirror cover replaced. Looked like a pretty simple job so I bought the part, but I didn't have the right tools so I called them. Anthony is great! Even though I didn't have an appointment they allowed me to bring it in and quickly fixed it in the parking lot while I waited. Can't wait for my next accident so I can come back here again (Just kidding!). read more

Farmers Insurance recommended Caliber Collision to have my vehicle repaired after one of their insured ran into me. I was impressed with their facility in my initial visit. I received an estimate for the repairs and set a time and date to bring the vehicle in for the work to be preformed. The date was far enough in advance to allow them to order and receive all the parts necessary to preform the repairs. The estimate showed four hours to complete the repairs as no painting was necessary. Only the back bumper was to be replaced. On Monday, the day they were to do the repairs (Day 1) I arrived just as they were opening. They assisted me with arranging for a rental car for the day. I was told I would be notified when my vehicle would be ready to pick up. Later that day, just before they closed, I received a text message that my vehicle would not be ready until the next day. There was no explanation as to why the repairs were not completed as promised, just that the delivery would be the following day. I did not think too much about it since I had a rental car to meet my transportation need. Close to the end of the next business day ( Day 2) when I had not heard from anyone, not even a text message, I called to get a status update. I was told that they discovered an additional part that needed to be ordered and that it would be another day. That was certainly understandable since you can't always see what is broken/damaged until you take apart the damaged pieces. I did asked why they did not discover the addition damage the day before, but was assured they had ordered the additional part and would have my vehicle ready the following day. The next day (Day 3) towards the end of the day I received a text message saying that the part they ordered had not been delivered as expected and that it would be another day before they would have my vehicle repaired. I don't know what type of relationship they have with their parts supplier, but evening after paying for Fed Ex Next Day Delivery, the supplier did not come through. Now I'm told it will be another day before I would get my vehicle. I checked with the rental car agency about keeping the rental car beyond the original time requested and was told it would not be a problem. In the middle of the day, Thursday (Day 4) I was called and told they still had not received the part from their supplier and that it would be still yet another day before I would finally get my vehicle back. They were very apologetic and I certainly understood that the delay was no fault of theirs. Towards the end of the next day (Day 5) I finally received a call that my vehicle was ready to be picked up. I turned in the rental car and was given a ride to the body shop. In the office I was presented with the final cost of the repairs which was substantially higher by several hundreds of dollars than the original estimate even though the additional part was less than $6.00. Since the insurance company was paying for the repairs I was not too concerned. When I was taken out doors to inspect the work they had done I noticed a nick in the paint just under the tail light above the bumper. I pointed this out to them and was assured they would take care of the repair and provide me with a rental car. I questioned if this was something they accidentally did and was hoping I would not notice it. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and left with the assurance they would make it right, After having second thoughts about the way in which the repairs were handled and the amount of time it took for the original repairs, I have decided not to ever have Caliber Collision do any more repair. Looking back as a customer I question why the communications were not better and why they did not start the repairs on the day originally agreed upon the week prior. Had they started the repairs on Monday as promised they would have discovered the additional part that was needed that morning (remember the entire repair was to take just four hours) ordered it and had it the next day. I can see where there certainly is room for improvement in the area of the promises they make and the way they communicate with their customers. If you are considering using this body shop for work on your vehicle, I would strongly suggest you get another estimate from a repeatable body shop and get a clear understanding as to what work is to be done, when it will start, and when it is expected to be finished. I felt the original estimate was way too low and they would promise anything just to get the work. Once they have you vehicle you are at their mersey. read more

After having an unfortunate incident on the 405 freeway where a large piece of particle board flew into the front of my car and did some damage to my bumper, I filed a claim with my insurance company. My son got rear-ended in March and we took the car to Caliber in May. They said they would order the part and let us know. I called a few months later to find out the status of the order. Cory told me he would check and let me know. I called back about a week ago and asked for Cory. I complained that he didn't call back and he hung up on me. I called back and it went to voice mail. I called the insurance company, complained about Caliber and withdrew my business from them. They must have so much business that they could give a damn about one customer more or less. Nonetheless, I hope this rude behavior catches up to them. They were our first choice and now they won't even be our last. read more

WOW! Just WOW! My Honda CRV was hit on the side and a lot of damage was incurred. A lot! I was concerned about whether my car would ever look the same. Also, if they going to be able to match the paint after the extensive repairs. My car was a unique Burgundy color. They were able to restore the car to Factory condition, including the calibration the the Sensors; Lane Mitigation, Blind View Sensors, Wheel re-alignment, etc. The paint color was spot on! Perfect. My Service Advisor, Isaiah O'Campo, was in touch with me throughout the whole process. When he brought my car around for me to pick up, I was moved to tears. Not kidding! They even cleaned the car inside and out.... detailed clean and waxed. I feel like I have a whole new car!! I am grateful that I took my car to Caliber Collision. I highly recommend them. read more

The work done here is always superb. I always go to these guys for body work on my cars. My only complaint is regarding communication. On two separate occasions for two separate jobs, I was given a date my vehicle should be completed. Each time, I was told they wanted to give themselves enough time to do the work, so the finish date was several days in the future. Each time, the finish date came and went with no telephone call or any other communication regarding the status of the work on my cars. I had to call myself a day later (2 days later in one case) to find out when my car would be finished. read more
