Top notch service. I brought a nearly totalled vehicle in and they fixed it ahead of time and under budget. They called me every other day to give me progress updates and even released the car to me when finished despite still not having been paid by my crappy auto insurance. Highly recommended!! read more

This place was staffed full of friendly helpful people, who walk you through the process and keep you updated on your vehicle. Having to get your car fixed is never fun, but they took a lot of stress out of it. read more

Had to have serious repairs to the front of our vehicle due to accident. SUV only 3-months old, so not a happy event. Caliber Collision took very good care of us and made the process of repairs comfortable. We appreciate all of the special attention Zac give us throughout the month. The electronics were a problem and important component was back ordered, then had to be calibrated at the dealership, but Zac smoothly took care of all these details. Office staff was always right on top of the paperwork, dealing with the insurance company and rental agency. We are very impressed. Would certainly recommend this repair shop to others and would use it again (but hope we never have to). Thanks read more

To error or to cover up a mistake at every conceivable opportunity, is Caliber Collision. My experience with Caliber thus far has failed to meet even my lowest expectations. I would give negative stars if I could.I had better work done Across the border in TJ , The cost to fix my F250 was estimate at $6000.00 by the time Caliber Collision completed it it was over $10,000 after inspection, on pick up they only Hand tighten the bolts on the bumper and the fender, all gaps and lines was off over 1/2" the bumper was off by 4" on one side it looked like a high school auto body class put the truck together that was the first time I tried to picked up the truck , A week later I return gaps and lines fixed , bolts tighten, and tools was left inside the engine compartment!! and the lower radiator hose and bracket was missing and lower mud deflector was not installed another week later to order the parts, I picked finally picked up my truck, one week later I return my truck due to more missing parts not installed , and the air condition stopped working after they serviced it. another week in the shop, Total time in the shop was 2 months and 3 return visits , for the people that gave more than one stars you probably have missing parts that you don't even know you have on your car read more

I would like to put in a good word for this place of business. My wife and I had our vehicle body repair done there and I highly recommend them to anyone who would like prompt, courteous and friendly service along with the highest quality workmanship that can be found anywhere. Guy was my service rep and really made sure that we knew how the progress on the repairs were going, etc. The ladies at the front desk were always pleasant and accommodating. Thanks you guys for a great experience! read more

Just picked up my car today. They took out the scratch and the dent. Look just like new. They are awesome and I would totally use em again.

Great service! I was updated constantly about the progress of my vehicle by Cindy. Pick up and drop off was no hassle, and I got my car back looking better than new. read more

Our car was hit in a local parking lot and no note was left. Dented and damaged the front bumper. We have a fairly high deductible so I wanted to cover the repairs outside of the insurance company. We have had work done before at the Oceanside Caliber Collision with great results so I took the car to them again. Worked with Tom and he was able to repair the damage to looking like it was never hit. The bumper was popped out, rubbing compound and new clips to reattach the bumper. All work completed well under the insurance deductible. Thanks you very much Tom read more

Had a great experience here. My car is as good as it was before, and the cost was low. Also appreciated that they got it done on time. Enjoyed the coffee and free snacks and popcorn. The employees were great, especially Eddy and Javier. read more

I recently had an accident, and where it is typically a frustrating experience, Robert did an excellent job making it a good experience. He did a great job explaining everything to me in depth. He also completed the quote and had me on my way in a very brief amount of time. I hope I don't ever have a reason to take my vehicle to a body shop, but if I do I'll definitely be returning to Caliber. Thanks Robert. read more

The team at the oceanside location is awesome. Robert was my claims adjuster. He was very professional and let me know exactly how long the repair would take. Car was delivered on time!! I am very pleased with the quality and service of this location. I joined yelp to recognize them, and have bragged about the service here. Thanks Robert, Chris and the awesome staff at caliber collision. read more

I swear I have the worst luck with my car getting hit in parking lots. Car was smashed in on the rear passenger side pretty badlyand my insurance recommended this place to take it to. They were awesome! Got the car in right away and dropped me off at my apartment down the street. They quoted me 7-10 days and it was ready in 5. Love this shop, they're great here. read more

I have had the pleasure of taking my car to be repaired here three times now and have never been happier. Robert has been such an amazing help with every step: rental service, repair status and all other little details! Front desk clerk (I'm so sorry I can't remember your name!!) is so sweet and personable. My car has always come out looking like new and clean as a whistle :) I don't look forward to any more repairs, but am so pleased to know I can go here for exceptional work and service. I recently was rear ended by an 8 month pregnant person texting; it was very stressful dealing with insurance people etc. I took my car to Caliber Collision in Oceanside and was immediately taken care of by Cindy and then had Lisa as my advisor. I was kept up to date on everything going on with my car. I really appreciated the team work that went on in the office as well. Melissa contacted Enterprise and had me picked up for my rental, an easy transition. When I picked up my car, I left the keys with Caliber and they dealt with the pickup of the rental. I hope I don't have to use them any time soon, but I highly recommend their shop with the high level of professionalism and team work they have. It made a very difficult time so much easier. read more

This is the second time I've used Caliber Collision. The first time everything was taken care of by the insurance of the woman who rear-ended my car. Everything went very well and they exceeded my expectations in customer service and the repair work. Most recently, I had a paint scratch that I was responsible for and so was paying out of pocket. They gave me an estimate, stuck to it, and even had my car back in one day when they had said it would be three. I wasn't able to get over to their shop and pick it up so they offered to deliver it here. It worked out perfectly, and I now have my car back to drive to work tomorrow morning. I believe it was Sarah that was my service advisor. While it's not only refreshing to have a female in this position, it's great when they deliver superior service and workmanship. I'm very pleased with this and would highly recommend Caliber in Carlsbad. read more

Brought car in for a door repair after accident. Battery and check engine lights were fine. The vehicle was repaired and returned to me with check engine light and battery light on. Made Jim aware of these issues and his response "well that has nothing to do with your door repair". He denied any responsibility for the problems and walked inside with the attitude of "good luck". When I went into Caliber Collision and spoke again with him. He just repeated with a blank look, "well it has nothing to do with your door". Had to take it to a mechanic shop to have the necessary repair work done. Needless to say, I will not be using Caliber Collision in the future. Nor will I recommend them to friends and family. As was suggested to me, "good luck" if you use them. read more

Caliber did an amazing job on our car, I was updated regularly and our car looks like its original condition.

Excellent service beginning to end. Very professional and courteous. They fixed my car in less time then projected, arranged for my rental car to be picked up at their facility and returned to their facility when my car was ready. Repairs were done beautifully, the paint was perfect, no orange peel, the alignment of the door was perfect. They also communicated with my insurance carrier directly for the estimate etc. There was virtually no effort on my part. I dropped off my car, drove away in a rental car, came back in the rental car and picked up my car in perfect condition. Great job, great service! read more

The professionalism starting from the moment I opened the doors, speaking to the receptionist Francesca to speaking with Nathan in regards to fix my car, phenomenal service! The genuine care that was shown towards me and others that I saw, the experience was outstanding. Timely of having my car back to me, so I can continue on with my life. Better than ever! thanks Caliber Collision read more

"Guy" the service technician is so rude and disrespectful!! He has no customer service skills what's so ever. My trunk and bumper needed fixing after being rear ended which was also causing a light to stay on inside the car. Which then would essentially kill the battery. They ended up not being able to fix my car because they found something else wrong that they couldn't fix. I went to pick up my car today and later I opened my trunk and it was completely taken apart inside. When I brought my car to them to get fixed, my trunk was completely in tact. I called "Guy" to ask why my trunk was not put back together and he had nothing to say but "I don't know". Then I proceed to let him know that it should have been put back together and that this was unacceptable. He started talking over me and being extremely rude then he hung up in my face. Start doing your job better and have some more respect for people. Biggest a**hole ever! read more

A couple years back I helped my girlfriend out with her car problems. The Toyota dealership was giving her the runaround and wanted to charge her thousands for a new battery on her Prius. One easy call to Caliber Collision at another location, who didn't even do the repair, quickly met with the dealership and inspected the car. To make a long story short Caliber debunked the dealerships BS and she got a new battery put in her Prius and the dealership paid for it all. After that amazing experience with Caliber I insisted on using them for my car when I was involved in an accident. They were great about calling and getting me scheduled. I was pleasantly greeted by Brad A. who gave me a no rush explanation of what needed to be done. He provided me excellent service and made me feel completely comfortable that they were going to take great care of my car! I would highly recommend Caliber Collision for car repairs. read more

I wish I could give this place 5 stars but they really messed up my car! I took it in there because I had a small incident in my passenger back door after approx a week they called to say it's all done I went to pick it up...i looked over my car and it looked worse than before! The door didn't line up with the jam and was wavy also when they washed the car they either washed it with dirty rags or dried it with dirty rags or both! My entire vehicle had scratches everywhere, all around the whole car! I was speechless! I informed them when I dropped it off not to use a brushes on it if they washed it, I've never used brushes on my SUV, apparently nobody bothered to listen to that. When the Mgr called to say it was just about done my husband asked if they got all the scratches out and corrected the original incident, the Mgr said our car had scratches, dings, dents and a broken tail light!! WHAT??? he tried to say that's how it was when we brought it in, apparently he didn't get with the original guy that was on handeling our case, he went on vacaction, so the mgr knew nothing about the new scratches! Needless to say they had to order a new tail light because someone at thier shop broke ours and tried to say we did it! we walked around my entire car before they even touched it and I am 100% certain all the scratches and broken tail light were not there before I took it to them! After 3 long weeks I went to get my car. I now have my car back and everytime I look at it i get nauseated, the front headlamp is all scratched up and the front seam under the headlight looks like they hit something and tried to put bondo on it to cover it up! since i chose not to use my insurance on an $800 expense i paid them in cash out of pocket. Bottom line..i honestly don't know who you can trust anymore! I'm sickened by this because Ive always taken the utmost care of my car because it's a $52,000 vehicle and now I have to be reminded everyday what they did to it!Trying to decide if I should hire someone to fix this mess or sell it. Sad. read more

I've been here twice - once with my mom's car for a broken driver's side mirror that someone hit and more recently with my car, which was rear ended. I spoke with Paul and he helped me very efficiently and quickly. He explained everything to me, I read all the paperwork that I had to sign, and made sure everything was out of my car before giving it up for repairs. I received two calls for updates on my car, which I really appreciated so I knew how long the repairs took and when to expect to have my car back. When I received my car back, the paint matched perfectly and the bumper looked amazing! I was shocked to find that my car was completely clean. I had left it dirty on the outside and messy on the inside on the floor with dirt. I had no idea they would clean it, but it was VERY pleasant surprise. Even the inside was really nice. I received great customer service and my car looked amazing after repairs. Thanks Caliber! read more

This was our second time bringing my car in for a minor repair after an accident. It was frustrating how long the entire process took....about 2 weeks to wait just to get in for my first appointment for the estimate only, and then about 2-3 weeks to get my car in because you can't just drop your car off after hours (and their hours are basically during my work hours which was annoying). When I finally got my car back, it was dead. Completely dead when they pulled it up for me. They just laughed it off like it was no big deal and said I should be ok if I just drive it around the block a few times before turning it off. I was so annoyed because there was also NO gas in it. I had a quarter tank when I brought it in. They tried to say that they must have left the lights on while working on it, but my lights shut off automatically when the car is turned off....and then they tried saying because it's a newer car, I should read the manual and see why the "empty" signal is flashing at me. Ahhhh!! I thankfully made it to the gas station right down the street and thankfully my car didn't die when I had to start it up again. But now I just got an oil change and the mechanic said my battery is still very low!! So annoying because now I will probably have to get a new battery because of them. I'm only giving 2 stars because the staff was friendly and I know they have a lot on their plates. The manager also did well handling a very rude customer in the waiting area, and he seems like a nice guy. But, I don't think we will be going back. read more

These guys are not just crooks. They do horrible work. I took my brand new car there for a repair that should have taken 3 days. They had my car for almost 2 months. During this time they would call me every 2 days saying the car was done. When I get there the job is terrible. The paint job looked as if I did it myself. I've never painted a car. The fit of the bumper horrible. I did this back and forth for the entire 7 weeks. Every time it would be the same issues. It was as if they didn't even look at it before they called me. Sometimes it seemed as if they didn't do anything to it. Like they hoped I would'nt see that they did nothing. My insurance company sent out an adjuster 3 times and every time they were told that the work was substandard. At one point Dave the manger said they could not handle the job and would pay for me to take it anywhere I wanted. When I did this Dave proceeded to tell the new body shop that I was unreasonable and could not be made happy. This in turn made the other shop uneasy about taking the job. Then Dave the district manager(same name different guy) calls me and basically threatens me that no body will in San Diego would take the job once they find out that Caliber had it. I took that as the same thing that happened at the shop I chose would happen everywhere I went once they spoke to Caliber(Dave and Dave). Then Dave the GM offers to pay me $500 to get my car fixed somewhere else. I went and got estimates to correct there work and the cheapest was $1026. So $500 would not cut it. Not to mention I went to another Caliber and they even said the work was trash and gave me a bid to fix it. They didn't know that it was done by another Caliber. After contacting Dave the GM and asking for what it would take to fix it. He basically told me to jump off a cliff. So I filed a lawsuit for the amount to fix my car at the Vista small claims court. We went to court on 4/19/16 and I won easily. I even got a rental car paid for while the work is done as well. I guess they thought I would accept trash work. These guys are crooks. Don't take your car there. Even while I was running back and forth with my car there were other people there with similar complaints. read more

I had a 10:00 AM appointment to drop my car off and pick up an insurance paid rental; a very simple business transaction. The two receptionist at the front desk didn't look up from their computer screens to acknowledge my presence for almost 15 minutes, and it all went downhill from there. Caliber didn't have me in a rental until 12:30 PM, that's 2-1/2 hours!! If you value you time go ANYWHERE except Caliber! read more

Wow! Caliber did a great job fixing my car. They completed the work on time and as promised. I was so cranky about having work done to my car (as it was hit anonymously while parked) but Paul was so great, he turned a crappy situation into a positive customer service experience. My car looks brand new and I appreciated that the car was returned to me sparkly on the inside and out. I hope I never need more body repairs but if I do, I'll be back at Caliber Collision in Oceanside. read more
