Really rude service. This was the second time we took our car in at that location. Never again. The first time was ok. They weren't rude to us, but the work done was not what was promised. Perhaps we weren't on the same page. The second time, the manager was so rude and was more concerned about billing us than working with the insurance. Apparently they paid the towing company, which we didn't ask them to pay. They then turned around and charged us. I told the manager my insurance will pay for the towing. But he didn't care. He was not willing to release the car until that was paid. He thinks it legal for him to keep our car. I have good insurance and they will take care of the charges. I will take my business elsewhere. read more

My car got rear ended and my insurance gave me address to this place to get it evaluated. The receptionist greeted me and asked me to wait in the lounge area for my insurance guy to arrive. They have a nice sitting area, toys for kids, snacks and condiments. As the other party was at fault still they were very quick with the evaluation. They gave us an descriptive estimate with a timeline. We didn't got our car fixed with them we went with the other guys insurance company as he was at fault. The warranty company my dealer used made this process kind of difficult but Joel at the Milpitas location really went out of his way to make this an exceptional experience. Although my claim was approved at a $0.00 deductible, he and his detail crew were able to remove some overspray on my vehicle within 2 minutes of taking my car back. Did not have to file a bunch of paperwork and was able to get this handled with ease. I am very appreciative for the service and their realization that my issue was something they could do easily and without hassle. This is my second visit with them. I generally do not give reviews but I really believed they deserved 5 stars for their amazing customer service. When I visit them the first time for a hit-and-run for my car they fixed the back bumper of my car in last then a week. On top of that they even decided to help me out on my car rental! And they went out of their way to drop me off home initially when I had to drop my car off the first time so that I did not have to get an Uber. Overall nothing but great service coming from them. In short: I was skeptical about it being a chain, but their service and quality blow the competition away! I found my trusted auto body repair shop in the South Bay! Recommended? YES. I went to 5 different auto body shops for estimates to get a good general idea of the costs for this repair. Caliber Collision came in with a lower estimate than all of them, which was great, but also they were a USAA preferred facility, so our repair would come with a lifetime warranty. We decided to go with them and set up the repair. Drop-off was easy, as they have an Enterprise right next door to rent a car during your repair. Raul called me halfway through and said they had to do a few extra things beyond the scope of the estimate to ensure the exact color matched, and I approved it. Luckily, Raul ensured the new cost was very reasonable, and I was glad to have been asked for approval before they moved forward. They called right on time for me to pick up the finished car, and it looks as good as new! Ambience: It's spacious and clean inside, with nice couches and seats. They have a TV on in the waiting area for your entertainment. The admin is nice, and they seem to serve everyone in a quick, efficient manner. They even have a great walkie-talkie system to find each other quickly. Service: Raul is incredible! I had lots of concerns going in, and he worked with me every step of the way to address them and ensure I received a quick, great quality repair. Location: The location is very convenient for us, living in North San Jose. The shop is right near the Great Mall in Milpitas, and right next door to Enterprise. Parking is a little tricky in their lot since they are super busy at all times, so be aware that you might have to double-park to get an estimate. I kind of wish there were more defined areas for first-time customer estimates, repair drop-offs, and repair pick-ups, but I'm guessing they need to be flexible with it based upon demand so they leave it unmarked. It seems to work for them, but it's a little hard on the first-time customers who don't understand the situation yet. 4 Key Tips: 1) Parking is limited - just double-park wherever you can. Estimates only take a few minutes! 2) I recommend working with Raul - he's super nice and will help you with any concerns along the way. 3) USAA partner - come here if you have USAA insurance for a Lifetime Warranty! 4) Enterprise Rent-A-Car is in the same building, so no worries there! This place was previously known as FCC Collision, until they were bought by Caliber sometime a couple of months ago. However, the staff stayed the same, so I still decided to take my car here after FCC collision won Milpitas Best Auto Repair shop many years in a row. The location itself has a pretty small parking lot as it shares the building and parking lot with Enterprise Rent A Car, which makes it SUPER convenient if you need a rental car while Caliber is doing repairs. I was involved in a minor accident in which my rear bumper needed to be repainted. I called Caliber to request an appt for a quote and the front desk lady said I could come in anytime before they closed. When I got there, I had to wait for the adjuster which was about 5 minutes. Their small waiting area consisted of 3 couches and a TV. They also offered water and coffee while I waited. Chris helped me and was very helpful. I told them I chose them to do the repairs so we made a follow-up appointment for me to bring my car back. When I brought my car back, I was quoted that the work would be done in two days but they called me the next day and said it was done already. Super quick service and very pleasant to deal with. The insurance paperwork was a breeze to deal with too. All I did was provide them with the claim # in the beginning and never had to deal with the insurance after that. Although I hope I don't have to bring my car in for anymore repairs, if I needed to then I would bring my car back here. read more

This business is well set up, comfortable and clean. The staff is friendly and attentive, immediately assisting me, starting with the front desk. The center manager displayed exceptional customer service during all of our interactions and was immediately available when I asked to speak with him in-person in regards to my son's (very) damaged Lexus. It took no more than 30 minutes from arriving to leaving with an estimate on the repair for the front (replacing grill, recondition bumper). Scheduled a time to start the repair and was done in three days. Picked the car up looking new as before and even cleaner than when I dropped it off (Chris had the car cleaned up for me). So when my wife was hit by a red-light-runner, we didn't think twice about choosing Caliber for the repair. A few months back I was in an accident, and was suggested Caliber Collision through my insurance company. Upon arriving I met my rep Justin, he was very nice and throughout the entire repair process he patiently answered all of my millions of questions. My car was in the shop for a pretty long time, a little more than 1 month. I REALLY was hoping to get it back as soon as possible but I understand these things can take time, and my crash was pretty bad so I didn't want to rush anyone with the repairs. But while I waited Justin did an amazing job of keeping me updated on my vehicle's progress. What I really appreciated overall was that caliber took care of my rental car after my insurance policy's rental time expired. I work and go to school so being without a car would have been very difficult! Finally when I got my car back, it looked beautiful! After a few days I realized that the windshield water pump was not working. I called Terri and explained her the problem and she was very accommodative.
