I came to Laguna Auto Body in Milpitas after messaging them through Yelp about my front bumper, which had popped out, along with some scratches and a small dent on the quarter panel and rear bumper. Kurt got back to me and kindly offered to pop the bumper back in for free if it was a quick fix, which I really appreciated. When I arrived, Michaela helped me at the front and was super patient and friendly. Even though they were clearly busy and getting a lot of calls, she took the time to walk me through everything and answer my questions. They also worked with me on the quote, knowing I'd be paying out of pocket, which I really appreciated. Their pricing seemed fair and in line with other shops in the area. A friend of mine actually recommended them and mentioned he's brought in multiple cars here with consistently great results. Based on this visit, I can see why. They're honest, kind, and don't pressure you. They went ahead and popped my bumper back in securely, and everything looks great. I had gotten rear-ended while parked and my car was declared a 'total loss" by the insurance company. I disagreed with this assessment and kept the car despite the salvage title. Other repair shops quoted me $12K-$17K to fix my car. I decided to go the DIY route to save some money. I found all the auto parts I needed and installed them. The only things left for the which I couldn't do myself were to cut, install, and weld a muffler; and paint the bumper cover. Enter Laguna Auto Body. They provided a fantastic price which I couldn't refuse. I dropped off my car expecting it to take more than a week, but to my surprise, they had it finished in 4 days! Not only that, but the quality of the work was excellent. The paint job on my bumper looks factory quality - you really have to be a picky louse to discern any color difference. You can't tell even in full sunlight! It looks and feels like the original bumper. The muffler job was similarly excellent. Everything works as it should and fits like a charm. Although I admit I haven't had the chance to actually lift up the car and take a look, but I'm confident it's solid work. All this saved me thousands of dollars, and I am most definitely satisfied. In total, I spent about half of what I was quoted at other body shops (about $7K). I recommend Laguna for all your auto body/paintwork/muffler repair without hesitation. Give them a try. I knocked off my right side mirror on a brand new car. I was so devastated. I got a lot of responses when I submitted an inquiry on Yelp, but was glad I landed with Laguna. Kurt is a very down to earth guy, and I found him to operate with honesty and integrity. I saw that he treats both his customers and his employees with compassion and respect. He gave me a quote for the full mirror and stated that if the existing cover (over $100) could still be used he would send the new one back and remove it from the total. Sure enough my old cover didn't break or even sustain a scratch in the collision and he popped it right back on to complete the repair. The tech who did the work cleaned up after himself and did a quality inspection to make sure all of my mirror's functionality was intact. All of this was done in under 45 mins while I sat in my car and played on the phone. The part took a day and a half from my first visit where they assessed the damage. I am incredibly pleased with all aspects of doing business with Laguna. I hope to never need them, but if I do I won't hesitate to return! I forgot to add, they temporarily secured my old mirror (at no charge) that was very loose and leaning while we waited the day or so for the part. Other shops just shrugged me off saying they couldn't help and to just get some tape and get it fixed as soon as possible. Kurt just did it for free and left it up to me if I wanted to order the part and proceed with permanent repairs. They didn't even ask for a review, just regular people doing a job right because that's who they are. Love that. read more

First, I called multiple times during the week and never ever an answer. Rings and rings, then automated voice comes on. That's it. However, I didn't give up there, though many would. I drove all the way up there, which is 1/2 hr in normal traffic. Now, I preface what I'm about to say, by stating that I've gotten several quotes, so I know these autobody places can be hard to places to find parking and sometimes you just need to walk a ways to get to them from the nearest parking spot, which is fine. But THIS was in a league all its own. Not only was every parking spot taken, but the roadways in between the parked spaces were completely filled with cars all the way to the driveway at the street. No way at all to get in to their business or the others that were crammed in beside them. BUT, it doesn't end there. If I could have parked on the street, no problem. BUT, I drove quite a ways before I saw the first parking spot that wasn't someone else's private parking lot and there was no way I was going to hike that distance. I did call them from there, but you guessed it. As usual, no answer. So that's it for them. I am certain that they have lost much business because of this horrible horrible situation. I'm not going back. I'm going to use one of the other quotes. If you need a helicopter dent fixed, that might be the only way to use their services by landing on their roof. Great folks, very professional & transparent. my volvo got rear ended last year and I land with them after getting a couple of quotes. they were not the lowest but very professional and clear in pricing and finished everything on time. there was a missing real sil plate in vendor order and they happily reordered it and installed it w/o any issues. I happen to mention to them during visit that I have a broken side mirror for my other car. Kurt mentioned if I can bring the part they'll install it. last week I ordered a replacement side mirror for my other car & they replaced it no charge.
