They made my car crash seem easy...They worked with my insurance (Liberty Mutual) and made it simple. They have an Enterprise next door so they work together seamlessly. My car was fixed in less time than estimated and the work was perfect and it comes with a lifetime warranty if anything changes.. (doubt it will). They also cleaned the outside and inside of my car (for which I apologize since there was 4 years worth of dog hair in there) so I don't even need to get it detailed now. The first visit/consultation was great and efficient but everything after that was terrible. The initial estimate of completion date was one week. I intentionally dropped off the car few days later than what they wanted to make sure all the parts were ordered and arrived at the shop. One week went by and they told me it would take a couple days longer. Day by day, I would wait and then there is just a text at the end of the day saying the expected completion date was moved to the following day. I had to call them a few times to ask about the progress. In the end, I finally got my car ONE MONTH after which cost me a lot of money for car rental. read more

My 2007 Toyota Corolla was involved in a minor front end collision. Needed head lights, bumper, radiator, and hood replacement. Took about 2 and a half weeks to fix, pretty decent time length. Before you pick up your fixed car they give the car a wash. Waiting area inside was very nice. Comfortable chairs, popcorn machine, coffee maker, tv, and magazines in the waiting area. read more

They're pretty professional and do good work with one exception. I had purchased and installed brighter headlights before the accident. When I asked them if they would replace it with the brighter bulb, they said they would not. They would use OEM parts. I had to complain to my insurance before they were willing to change their mind. I think they should repair cars to their previous condition and parts, unless asked to otherwise. Not the other way around. read more

Short Version: Worst service I have ever had. Caliber set expectations that they failed to meet at every turn. Not only was the customer service substandard, but the repair took three times the amount promised. Triple check your estimate given against the repairs made and the final bill. More Detail: Associated had me e-mail him my insurance company's estimate and told me he would order the parts and I could drop it off in a week. I called the shop the day before to ensure the parts were ordered and after talking to two different people on the phone found out nothing had been done. The new associate apologize for the inconvenience, said there were some ongoing problems with the associate I had been dealing with and he would be taking over my claim. If this had been the only snafu I would have been understanding; however, after I dropped my truck off I was told it would take a week to complete the job and I would receive a phone call update in a couple of days...it took over THREE WEEKS to complete the job. Though promised phone call follow-ups I never received a phone call but had to initiate contact with Caliber each time. Each time I was promised a future follow-up call that I never received and once left a message that was never returned. When I showed up to finally pick up my truck I was asked to pay the bill without being offered to look at the repairs. When going over the repairs, several mistakes in the bill were found. The "final bill" did not match the estimate. The manager Chris finally fixed it to match, and to his credit did listed to my above listed concerns, but was unable to dispenses and compensation for the massive inconveniences caused. This was the first collision repair I have had to make on my truck, so I definitely needed to do more research about the process and maybe I should have been more aggressive in my follow-up; however, with such a high rating I expected much better. In addition, my heater worked fine prior to the repair and now is out of order, have sent the manager an e-mail and am hoping for better service this time around. read more

Somebody smashed my side mirror and caused a small body dent. Small repair totaling less than $600. Repair was fine but pretty much sloppy handling of my case. - The case handler said he'd call me once the mirror part was in. He did not. I had to call him. - He told me the repair would take one day. It didn't because... - He ordered the mirror assembly but didn't order the painted cover for the mirror. So I had to drive into the shop a second day. - He told me the second day work would take only 15 minutes. With the repair, car wash and payment processing, it was closer to 45/60 minutes before I left the shop. - He left a small chrome strip item in the work order which I told him I wanted removed. He forgot to remove it. It was an extra $50+. - PDR body work was done well. Mirror assembly replacement seems fine. read more

I had my doubts about taking my 2013 Highlander to a 'chain' collision repair shop, however, I was blown away by the professionalism, courtesy and quality of service I received from Caliber in Milpitas. They did a beautiful job, and having an Enterprise rental car facility right next door was super convenient (the Enterprise folks were great as well). My service advisor, Terry, was one of the friendliest and likable guys I've ever met in the service industry. This review is long overdue as my repair was done quite some time ago. My right mirror was detached and I had some streak lines as well. Although the damage was somewhat minor, I still got my car back the same day I took it in for repairs. The repair was very quick and they did a great job. I was very pleased with the results. Terry McMahon was very cordial and was constantly giving me updates on the status of my car and when I'd be able to pick it up. He did his best to find the best possible deal so I could save more money while still getting fantastic results on my repairs. I have used Yelp to research businesses but never have provided a review until today! In April 2014 I was rear ended in my Touareg and brought my vehicle to FCC Collision for repairs. I noticed there was some hazing on my rear hatch where the hatch was repaired and repainted. I dragged my feet bringing it back in for warranty work. Finally, I made the call and spoke with Raul Canales to set up time to show him my concern. When I drove up to the location, to my surprise, FCC is now Caliber Collision. I was a bit worried when I drove in wondering if Caliber would honor the warranty under FCC. Raul was available as planned and easily saw my concern with the paint. He called out his manager, I believe it was Chris Sanchez, to discuss the warranty. Chris said they would honor FCC's warranty and even offered to detail my vehicle. Raul brought me back in to the office to set up an appointment for following week and said they would even put me in rental car while they fixed the issue. Although the work has not been done yet, I have been impressed with the level of professionalism and customer service both Raul and Chris have shown with my visit today. I have no doubts about bringing my Touareg in next week. read more

Don't understand the bad reviews at all, from the beginning to the end, the service I received was second to none. The service I received from Joel Regondola was exceptional. Considering you are already a little on edge with your car needing to be repaired you hope the auto repair shop will be somewhat considerate, I found this company to be such. I would recommend them highly, especially for women who are skeptical about auto repair shops, which I was. Thank you Joel for making my experience a wonderful one. I decided to drop by for an estimate after my car had a large, fairly deep scratch from a hit and run. George quickly gave me an estimate to completely fix it that was in line with what I had been expecting, but I was still on the fence because of my deductible. When I told George that I could probably live with the scratch, he was completely professional and understanding. He then offered to quickly touch up the scratch for FREE! After he was done with it (~15 minutes), my car looked much better. To see the scratch you now have to be close to the car and really look for it---and it's something that I can definitely live with now. Needless to say, I'll be coming back here first if I need any work done in the future. read more

I got rear ended and came here to get my Honda Fit repaired. When I called them they said they had most parts available and I can come. So I handed the car over on Friday. They told me someone would call me on Wednesday to confirm the status. Wednesday came and went and no one called. I called them back and they said it'll take till next week. Again they said they will call on Monday and confirm. Again Monday came and went and no one called. I called Monday evening just before they close and they said it will be ready tomorrow so someone will call me tomorrow morning to confirm time. So I decided to work from home on Tuesday and again no one called. I called them and they said it'll be Wednesday because they are waiting on a part. I was pretty annoyed at this point. If they had told me on Monday that they were still waiting for a part I would have planned my day accordingly. Finally today,on Wednesday, I got my car back. They did a good job on it so no complaints there. Would have loved it if they had kept me posted. I would have to keep a reminder all the time to call them during busy work hours. It was exhausting trying to keep myself updated with the status of the car. read more

STOP! Be Aware of this auto-body shop that will fool you now and then! I had my Mazda 2011 dropped, estimation given and insurance approved and even Caliber Collision called to let me know the car is ready to pick up. All good till here. The surprise was waiting for me when I went to pick my car and took a look. The repair area has so many undone patches, white spots and even un-repaired scratches that will come into anyone's notice. The fiber panel below the rear door was loose and they didn't fix it correctly. And think, that they were delivering this service. After my complain, Mr.Chris Sanchez told it will take 5 mins to get those taken care; obviously I had lost all expectation from these guys and gave them an hour. After I came back in an hour again to pick my car; I could see they have provided some patches which I or you could do with some crude paint. And ! Mr.Sanchez proudly says that's the best quality patch available. And when all these conversations were happening the guys who promised and did the estimation (Justin Sanchez) wrer not to be seen, he was amusing from his desk by looking at the customer's frustration. God knows how these guys are running their business. Never the less, I found the same old impacted wheel cap they have polished and refitted while their estimate includes the cost of a new one. They changed it again after I complained. This is something daylight robbery.....I can not think how these guys are making fool of the customers and insurance companies. They are so adamant and all these were petty stuffs that happens by mistake anytime. Oh God! Summary: Don't drop at this place if you value your money and insurance company should take strict consideration of fact in the anomaly between the service and estimation. I would never like to see these guys again in my life; this has been such a upset experience. Offering popcorn and coffee doesn't make any sense when you can NOT deliver a quality product & service; but again these crooks looks like to be flair in running a business of making fool of peopl read more

******Customer service is TERRIBLE********** My insurance company recommended that I come to this auto body shop to get an estimate and repairs done after an accident. During the estimate/quote phase the service I received was decent. I made an appoint to bring my car in on a Monday and was told the repairs would take 3 days. I called on Tuesday to see how repairs were coming and Chris informed me that they had found a bunch of extra damage and were proceeding with repairs and his "best guess" was that I would get my car back by Friday. I was really upset that I had to call to get an update on my vehicle and that Chirs and his team didn't proactively update me. I assume this is because they know once I've met my deducible the insurance company will cover everything else so they squeeze out every penny they can. I had to call Chris two more times that week to get updates and surprise surprise, Chris said that now I wouldn't get my car back until Weds of the next week. BOTTOM LINE: For what was originally supposed to be a 3 day job - took 2 weeks. And my contact never called me once to give me an update on the status of my car. I had to call and get an update every single time. They took no initiative to update me and I feel like they just used me to get more $$$ from my insurance company. read more

Last year, I took my car to get fixed due to a rear end accident. Caliber Collision did an amazing job time wise as well as with customer service. Today, after being involved in another rear end accident, I took my car to get quoted again. First, I was told that my appointment was the day before when I had specifically asked to have it on Thursday due to work. I was fine with a later appointment since I had the day off. When I got to my appointment, people who wanted a walk in estimate based on pictures were able to be seen by someone and were helped. When it finally came time for the estimate, I was told that I should just get the cash from my insurance and not get it fixed immediately. Seeing as my car, specifically my bumper, has a lifetime guarantee from this company, I was not pleased. Yes, I do know that it looks like a basic scratch on my car.
