I was familiar with this location in Glendale ( one of 2 for Caliber in the Glendale/Atwater area) because it used to be the home of Modern Body-----another very highly regarded, insurance- preferred repair shop that existed at the same location some 5 years ago. This new company did not disappoint. Caliber Collision is a very organized, professionally-run franchise .....and the representative assigned to me, Robert Garcia, is a real class act! He kept in touch with me via e-mail/ phone messages throughout the week that it took to get my car back in tip top shape. I expressed a desire at the onset to get another part of my car repaired at the same time and Robert accurately estimated the extra/out-of-pocket cost and the total required time to get everything done. He didn't charge me for some of the small details associated with the job and even ordered me a replacement radio antenna at no extra cost. Wow.....what a well-run business. Went in there to get an estimate for an accident that happened on my bumper. When in and the lady at the service counter asked me what i needed help with today.Told her what was going on and they said that they were booked and were seeing cars through appointments only. I was like that is fine, can we schedule an appointment and they said they had it only throughout the week while I was at work. They didn't have any appointments during the weekends. I decided to walk out since they couldn't do anything. Some other person pulls up next to my car and they were instantly helped by the workers for a door ding. I backed up my white Hyundai Sonata Sport into a yellow pole a few weeks ago when leaving a parking lot. I was so upset because that has never happened and I had just finished paying off my financed car and gotten the car title. Thankfully my insurance was able to cover the damage minus my deductible. I chose this Caliber Collision because a few years ago my husband had gotten his car fixed here and they did an amazing job. The process of dropping off my car was so simple and quick. Guillermo was the person helping me with my claim, and he kept me updated with repairs every few days. I had a few scratches on my front bumper from separate incidents that I also had been wanting to fix, so I also got an estimate for that and paid out of pocket. I ended up getting my car back almost a week earlier than they originally expected. The pick up process was also quick and easy, and Guillermo and the front desk staff were all so nice, friendly, and welcoming. My car looks amazing!!! The dents and scratches are gone. The paint is immaculate and my car honestly looks brand new again, like I just drove it off the dealership lot! My car also got a car wash and detailing, making it look and smell wonderful. In my personal experience this place was a good decision, I was involved in an accident, somebody hit me, I decided to take my vehicle to this place, I had some issues because some of the parts were delay, not by them but the manufacturer, the guy assigned to my vehicle was the best, he would answer all of my questions and put himself in my shoes, that's customer service right there, he did everything he could to make things right and deliver my vehicle on time and perfectly shaped, the lady at the front desk was so nice as well, i will be definitely coming back (I mean, hopefully not) but if I have to I will! This place gets 5 stars because of the people working here is taking good care of customers! My car was rear ended with damage that claimed the bumper, associated parts, lights, etc. Caliber Collision, on San Fernando Blvd in Glendale, has a practice that allows you to make an appointment for a review and estimate. They also have an agent from Enterprise Rent a Car ready to meet you if you do make the appointment. I was able to take my car in, pick up the rental and proceed to work on Monday, within thirty minutes. Their office staff is professional. My contact, Guillermo kept me abreast of the repairs and their timeline, and answered the questions I posed during the inspection and prior to repainting. My Acura was repaired in advance of the timeline given. The rental return and auto pick up was equally efficient. While I hope there are no more auto body repairs in my future, I can say that if I do require such work, I would return unhesitatingly to Caliber Collision on San Fernando read more

This place has the absolutely worst customer service. I went in when before work on a Monday to get an estimate and they had no one there that could give me an estimate so they took my number down and sent me away. Five days passed without a call. So I called back on Saturday and instead of being apologetic, not only did the guy not care that I'd had my time wasted, waiting all week for a return phone call but he refused to make time for me to come in that day. He said they were too busy and I would have to try again another time. It looks like Caliber Collision has all the customers they need already so take your business elsewhere. read more

Formerly Modern Auto Body, Caliber is the new operator and everywhere else as they buy yup all the good local shops. Many employees have but kept the service has changed and become more corporate (ie less friendly). Ive come here with 4 different cars and plenty of friends vehicles over the years. Out used to be fair prices, easy and streamlined service with insurance coordination. That's over it seems as is my support. Most recently I stopped in for an easy estimate. My side mirror was knocked off. they wouldn't even bother to do the estimate unless I called my insurance and coordinated a meeting with then there. No prob. I ordered the part at the dealer and paid my local garage $25 to put it on. read more

They did all my repairs a lot quicker than they originally estimated, it was a bit pricier than I originally anticipated (I ultimately didn't care since the insurance of the lady who hit my car paid for it) but they did much more than I thought they'd do. They not only washed my car and thoroughly cleaned the interior of the car. Not your mediocre vacuum passim either, they got all those hard to reach areas around the interior. Everyone inside was nice, don't remember their names but anyone who has been working as of today that I write this, they were pleasant. Got my rental set up at moments notice as well. They gave initial quote for $420 and after giving car for repair they called and asking for $755.65. I said I can't pay that much to take my car back they are charging $75. They are asking to read paper work as there terms and conditions states they will charge for it. It looks like total fraud to me --- Don't waste your time and money. I really wanted to give this place 5 stars but I can't. The work was done in a timely manner. The people were very nice and easy to work with. But they used the damaged original plastic pins to keep the undercarriage attached to my wheelwell. When I asked why they were loose they didn't seem to have an answer. Always check a mechanic's work! I had him replace them right in front of me. The work wasn't cheap either so I definitely think they should have sprung for some new plastic pins. read more

I wish I could give them 0 star. I had an accident and my insurance sent me to them. They told me they will replace my two doors and give back the car in a week, which it never happened. They kept my car for 17 days. Both doors had problem and had to return the car they claimed they fixed it, which after a week the same issues showed up. When I was returning my car back to dealer they charged me for both doors, and told me they never replaced the doors. Stay away from them. read more
