We have been going to Bodycrafters, Auto Body Crafters, and Caliber Collision for over two decades, and close to three decades. We have given this site a ton of business ourselves, and with all of the referrals, even more. George and Gary, and everyone there are wonderful and the work is always superb. Sadly, Gary wasn't there when I went in for my estimate. Nahum did my estimate. He was okay, but not too helpful. I asked him if I could use his pictures, as mine were probably not as good and his and he said "they are for my own personal use here." I started to take pics while I was there, in addition to what I had, and he walked away. I asked him to help me point out the areas again. I asked him to e-mail me the quote. He left out the beginning part of my e-mail when he read it to me. I write clearly and I clarified what it was. He later called and said that he had e-mailed me the quote and to call him if I did not get it. I waited and waited and then contacted him several hours later. He read my e-mail wrong, again, with only one "n". He insisted that the e-mail went through and to check my junk mail. I had done that and there was no e-mail. I said I would check it again. I felt like I was bothering him in getting a quote. He did not offer to send it again. I called back and the nice lady asked him to send it. I was pretty stressed out at that point. Guess what, I got it within minutes... I should not have to beg for an estimate. Also, leaving out 818 from an e-mail (yes, that starts off my e-mail), and then an "n" from donna concerns me. An estimator needs to be detail oriented. Also, the customer service from him just isn't there like it is with Gary. The estimate is an incomplete estimate, and I am concerned that the place that will cover the cost of the damage will pay the amount listed and I will be out of pocket. The estimate states it is customer pay and I explained that was not the case. I never had to go through any of this with Gary or George. read more

I've been a customer of this shop - formerly Autobody Crafters - for 21 years. Gary has looked after me and he has always delivered top-notch customer service and results. I have been so happy with the work that I've recommended this shop to many people over the years. Last Wednesday I returned for a quote for repairs to my car after an argument with a concrete pillar in an underground parking lot. I also wanted to get some additional refurbishment work to my 2004 BMW because of wear and tear. I was surprised to see that the shop had be acquired by Caliber Collision. My inspection was done by a woman named Crystal who said she'd get the quote to me by the end of the day or first thing the following morning (Thursday). I told Crystal about my long and happy history with Autobody Crafters and how I always relied on Gary's handling of my repairs. Crystal said that many of Gary's longtime customers had returned to Caliber but, although Gary had remained with the company after the transition, he was now on "indefinite leave". Despite my disappointment that Gary would not be supervising my repairs I was willing to give Caliber a chance and hopeful that I'd receive a similar level of service. By Friday I'd still received nothing from Crystal and called her back only to get excuses and a new promise to get a quote "as soon as I can". Today is Tuesday. Crystal has had Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, the weekend and Monday to get my quote done and still nothing. When I called this morning I was told that Crystal had stepped out. After explaining my frustration at length to the receptionist I was told that Crystal was now back and she asked if I would like to speak to her. After a full minute of being on hold (during which time I'm sure the receptionist had filled Crystal in on my complaint) Crystal addressed me as if she was unaware of who was calling or the reason for my call. She made the same excuses she had made on Friday. I don't care how good the actual work is at this place, I'm not risking my car to a place where the manager doesn't do what she says and just makes excuses. Just a simple call or an email to let me know there was going to be a delay would have made all the difference. But to wait for me to make two calls and STILL not deliver is unacceptable. I feel like if anything ever went wrong with a repair that I'd get nothing but excuses from this employee. I have written a formal complaint to Caliber's head office and have suggested in the strongest possible terms that they bring Gary back to save this branch of their business. I'm moving on and I'm sad that the long relationship with this formerly reliable company has come to an end. Gary is sorely missed. read more

On more than one occasion I've trusted Caliber with my car and their service is absolutely outstanding! They're quick and efficient with estimates, meticulous in their repairs, and they are friendly + honest to boot. When working with my auto insurance they ensured a smooth and easy experience, and when they had my car in the shop they maintained communication throughout the repair process; I was always aware of their progress and had an accurate timeline of when my repairs would be completed. Excellent! My car recently sustained minor damage when someone backed into it, and given how great Caliber has been in the past, going there again was a no-brainer. Once again, they did not disappoint. I brought in my car for a repair estimate and met with Nahum Martinez. He saw the damage was very minor and popped my slightly displaced bumper back into place immediately. Awesome! Then he offered to straighten out my bent license plate, replace the license plate frame, and buff out a scratch free of charge. Thanks, Nahum - my car looks good as new! Crystal is just amazing. My son passed away and I had the awful task of having the minor dents and scratches fixed so we could resell it. Time was of the essence since we have to make car payments if the car stayed in the shop longer. Crystal made sure that the repairs were done on time so I didn't have to make car payments and the car looked practically brand new. Honestly amazing. Someone hit my car while it was parked on the street and messed up one of my mirrors. After going through my insurance, I picked a (different) collision repair company who took three days to get back to me about providing an estimate, and then told me they were booked through March. I called Caliber shortly after and not only did they make an appointment for me the next day, but a tech inspected my car immediately and had the problem fixed within ten minutes. This week I was in need of some body work on the front of my car due to an accident. I checked out the highest rated on Nextdoor.com and began calling around. I went in for an estimate at two facilities. To my surprise Caliber Collision on Louise in Glendale came in $1080 less than one of the highest rated on the ND list. Not only were they less expensive. I took my car in on Tuesday, they ordered the parts immediately, received the parts the next day and my car was completely, beautifully finished by Thursday. Just two days, where the other place couldn't begin working on my car until one week later. The customer service at Caliber Collision was superb! I found Caliber Collision when I needed my driver side mirror replaced after my car was hit and run. The representative that helped me was great! I believe his name was Nahum. He was able to get me a quote in a matter of minutes without having to take my car in, which saved me tons of time! I came to Caliber based on reviews after someone slammed into the back of my 2013 Ford Focus, destroying the bumper and denting the hatchback. Caliber made the whole process--from dealing with the other driver's insurance to offering to stay late so I could pick up my car after work--totally painless. Crystal called periodically to update me on progress, which was super helpful; I knew my car was being taken care of without having to check in with them. The work they did on my car is amazing. It looks brand new, the pain is perfect. I could not be happier. They even went out of their way to help me with a small battery issue that had likely nothing to do with the repairs I had needed. Brought my car in to get some scratches repaired and this place did a great job. They were very friendly and helpful in making sure any other scratches, besides the key scratches I specifically came in for got repaired. Definitely deserves a 5 star rating!! Came in for an estimate for my Lexus RX 350 f sport after a hit and run. Naum helped me a lot and explained each step that needed to be done. He was also very transparent with the pricing and billing, as well ad taking care of the insurance claiming process. He also gave me updates every now and then regarding the progress of the car. Vicky and Crystal were also super friendly and accommodating. The waiting room has plenty of snacks, coffee, and water for the customers. Not your every collision repair shop. These people are friendly, willing, get it done and are exceptional. I went in with simple request - removing some unnecessary ugly license plate brackets from a brand new vehicle. I casually stopped in expecting to be told when I should come back when I'd have to leave my car. Instead they had me pull my car into their garage. And they jumped into action - within 20 minutes, job done. I was genuinely surprised! Oh yeah, and they wouldn't accept any payment for such a small job. If you need body work, go to this shop. Lack of attention to detail. They do not stand by there work. When I picked up my car for a bumper repair the paint was bubbling and required re-painting. I had to wait an additional two days to get my bumper re-painted. When the car was picked up and I drove off the lot they did not tighten the radiator hose causing my car to overheat. I had to get my car towed to the Infinity dealer. If I could give it 0 stars I would. I like working with companies that stand behind their work. Unfortunately this is not that company. When Gary owned it the company was great, now that Caliper Collision owns it unfortunately it's horrible. I would not recommend getting your car repaired here. read more

I had an appointment and when arrived I was taken in on time. They are COVID-19 compliant. Vicky the service consultant was very knowledgeable, professional and friendly. She knew what questions to ask and how the insurance would work. She asked me to provide my insurance estimate, since they are not a contractor for that particular insurance, and informed me that it would be the base for their estimate. I only had to provide that and Vicky took it from there. She communicated with the insurance company and once all is agreed on on, she contacted me to authorize the work. Once I authorized the work and the process started, Vicky kept me informed via text messages. The repair process did not take long at all, as the matter of the fact I got my car back earlier than the projected time of completion. The workmanship on the car is excellent and their warranty of work gave me a peace of mind. I would like to thank Vicky and everyone else in the shop.
