Upon the recommendation of my boss who had just had her car there the day before, I spoke to Eugene & took my car over. The very first thing that I was impressed with was his immediate attention. He looked at the car and then offered his condolences -- along with assurances that he could repair it & would work with the insurance company. He apologized that someone else had his loaner car, but he immediately took me to get a rental car. (I had not asked him to do this.) The first place didn't have anything appropriate available, so he took me to another place. He also asked questions that I hadn't thought of, and he waited while I called the insurance company to make sure that they would reimburse me. The repair itself took a lot longer than I'd anticipated; I would assume it was because of all the parts that were needed. It also took the insurance company several days to go out and assess the damage. In the end, though, they did a wonderful job. My car looks brand new, just as it did when I first bought it. I believe they also cleaned the inside, as it looked shiny clean. My only real complaint is that I wasn't really kept informed during the process, but Eugene did respond immediately when I texted him.

I purchased a 2015 Chevy suburban LT from Genesis Chevrolet on June 18, 2025 for approximately $21,000 at the time of the purchase the vehicle had under 96,000 miles and was clean. There were no visible rust holes or areas of rust through I have photographs from the time I purchased the vehicle showing how cleaning was now look what I'm dealing with on September 20 28, 2026 just 15 months later there are now actual rust, holes, and severe deterioration of the body metal on both sides of the vehicle. This isn't just a little surface. Was the metal has deteriorated broken away and created Russ holes in the body what makes this even more frustrating is that my vehicle inspection paperwork contains no documents or corrosion whatsoever the inspection paperwork does not identify Russ Russell corrosion or deteriorated body panels I understand this is a 2015 vehicle I'm not expecting a brand new vehicle but I pay approximately 21,000 to a Chevy dealership for the suburban and I certainly did not expect to be dealing with rust holes on both sides of the body panel 15 months after purchase, I am still financially responsible for this vehicle and now I'm faced with significant body deterioration. I should not have gone back because not following up was an indication of poor customer service. It got worse. I had my car dropped off for repairs while I was on an extended out of town work trip. I heard nothing until my deductible payment was due. Then, I got a call and explanation why I hadn't heard anything. When I arrived home I noticed the left side bumper was not flush. I took the car back and they did a quick repair. Wrong size/missing screw. Then, I mentioned my trunk wasn't closing properly. I was told that had nothing to do with the bumper replacement. So, I went to another body shop and they said the bumper/trunk tail panel was not lined up correctly and that would have been from the bumper replacement. They recommended taking it back to the body shop (Lafata) that did the repair. I called Lafata and the women who I had been dealing with made it clear she did not think their work had caused the trunk problem (which had no problem before i took the car there but said she would put a supplement in for insurance. That was 6 days ago and the supplement was not submitted. So, now I will deal with another body shop to get the repair fixed. Unfortunate. I try to support small businesses. I wish I had not supported this one and do not recommend using this body shop

Paid a $500 deposit, 6 month later I picked up my truck. Before I picked up, 80% of the work can be done through email exchanges. I think Sales prefer it that way too. I only had to be in the dealership for about 1 hour to pick up my truck, just to sign a lot paperwork and verify everything.
