They said they would help me with my insurance totaled 10 year old car. They wanted an estimate with the car. I couldn't get an estimate for it unless I bought it back from insurance company. So I do that and bring it and then they say they don't want to go through the work of looking for parts. I find the parts they fix it. Feel like the sales guy talked it up and the estimate guy shot it and me down. If it's not a common new car then don't bother because they won't. read more

My Prius was hit and run by a GM SUV (EKZ 7731). Right rear door was repaired by Pennington. Of 3 body shops I checked, Pennington was most available and welcoming business. Repair was done on time with metal panels returned to original shape (not all shops do that). Rubber window liner was loose (I tried to push it back in); I think they will fix it for me when I am less busy and can take the car back to them. I'd give 4.5 to 5 stars. read more

I brought my car here after a minor accident based on the recommendation of my insurance company. They were able to look at my car and provide an estimate right away, which came in much lower than I expected. I was given a time estimate of one week, and exactly a week later, it was done. Surprisingly, they had also cleaned my car, and did such a great job on both the repair and cleaning that my car looked better than it did when I bought it. Coincidentally, my husband got into an accident 2 weeks later and Pennington did just as good of a job as with my car. After my car was hit by valet drivers which resulted in some cosmetic damage, I took it to Pennington the next day and they gave me an estimate on the spot within about 20 minutes. They worked with my schedule and got my car in within a couple weeks. I could not be happier with the results! Not only does the dent and and paint damage look as if it was never there, they even completely detailed the interior of my car. It was such a nice surprise! I took my brand new car to Pennington after nailing a racoon on the highway going 70mph. My car needed a brand new front bumper, fog light housing, fog light, fender liner and grill. Rick was very accomodating, ordering the parts before I brought it in, and getting me a loaner car for the time of my repair. There was some confusion with parts and I ended up having to take it back in a few days after my car was "completed", to get a final part installed. But they managed to do it over lunch in the better part of an hour. They did good work overall, the trips back and forth were somewhat tedious, but I would bring my car back for sure. read more

I stopped by one afternoon about 2:30 to get, or make an appointment for an estimate. The lady at the desk said the estimator was at lunch but I could call later to see if he's back. I called back at 4:20 and was told they don't do estimates after 4:30. Ok fine, could have told me that earlier... Got the estimate the next day. Ed (owner/estimator) explained that the insurers estimate would be lower than his but he would deal with them directly. Called to make an apt. to get the work done was told bring $200 down payment and I would have to pay the difference between the estimates (what happened to Ed dealing with the Ins Co.?), I had to remind the lady that my ins. co. would be paying. She said she would call them and get back to me. Three days later I had to call her back, she had no memory of our previous conversation. Again she will call and call me back... no call. I called was told Ed is with a customer, he will call you when he's done... NO CALL! Do yourself a favor drive 1/2 a mile from Pennington and have your work done at The Collision Shop / Troy (owner also named Ed) on Maple Road. The Collision Shop Troy does great work with fast service no runaround. read more

I just picked up my car (again), Pennington never fails me. My car ALWAYS looks better than when I drop it off for repair. I highly recommend Pennington and would never go anywhere else. I dropped my car on a Thursday and picked it up the following Wednesday. We have used their services on two different occassions. In reference to this latest occassion, the staff was such a pleasure to work with. They were able to generate a quote on my car while I waited and the estimate was very reasonable. They were able to provide me a loaner car which was a huge help in allowing me to get to work without having to make alternate arrangement.
