My car was repaired and returned to me in April, except for a missing part (the front camera). I was moving out of state in the Summer, so Pablo promised me that when the part arrived, Hunter's Chase would ship the part to a Caliber near my new location. It has been 8 months and I'm still waiting. Whenever I called over these many months, they always assured me that it will happen. They even said the part had arrived in October, but still nothing. My glass replacement was AWESOME at Caliber Collision. FAST, good quality work, great communication, all at a convenient location. I only paid my insurance deductible. I started a claim online with my insurance company, and then Caliber called me to set up the appointment at a convenient location near my office, making sure to find me a location where all the required tools and parts were located. I dropped my car off, and shortly after, the tech called me when he was on his way to the shop and then called again after he was done. She was impressed that they kept her updated throughout the process, letting her know the progress. Missing her own car she was delighted that they finished earlier than planned. Best of all her car looks brand new again and the repair has a lifetime warranty. I finally got my car on December 30. I still feel that the communication is lacking. The quality of the work is fantastic. I got a call on December 14 saying that my car may be ready at the beginning of the following week. My advisor forgot that my car needed a 2nd part that would only arrive on the 20th. Later my advisor gave me conflicting messages on where the car is in line for painting. I had damage done to a car and needed repairs done. I chose Calibre Collision in liberty Hill Texas primarily because I've known the manager, Jesse Johnson for more than 40 years. The repairs were done. It looked great except it took approximately six weeks... 14 days beyond my reimbursed rental from my insurance company. Jesse said that Calibre Collision would reimburse me for that rental so I texted copies of those receipts. This was in early February 2023. We are now in August and it's the eighth. I have been texting numerous times a month, asking him to follow up on this for me and most recently he just has not responded at all. I say texting because every time I've called him he either clicks it over to voicemail or doesn't answer at all and Voice Mail does not allow me to leave a message since his mailbox is full. Even though I know Jesse, and once considered him a friend, I cannot in good faith recommend Calibre Collision for anything. read more

I had torn the underside of my BMW after hitting a curb. Fortunately no damage to the engine, just cosmetic. I took my car into Pavilion for repairs in October. The process was fine, they took a few weeks longer than they said but it wasn't a big deal. The big problem is that while my car was being repaired, someone broke into my glove box and stole my Ray-Bans and a $150 Visa gift card. I knew something was off when I picked up my car because my glove box belongings were strewn on the floor and passenger seat. I initially reported it to Pavilion after I picked up my car in November, and told them out of fairness to them, that I wanted some time to make sure I didn't misplace the missing items. So I waited until the first week of Jan to see if I could find them, but I still could not, so I knew that they must have been taken from my car while it was being serviced. I called Pavilion back that week and officially reported the theft to their manager. Someone called me back a few days later saying that the GM was looking into it. Well, it's been two months now, and Pavilion still hasn't gotten back to me with anything. Not even a call back from their GM. At this point, if it was important enough to them, they would have at least followed up with an update, explanation, apology, credit, etc., but they haven't done a single thing. And it's not like they don't have the funds to do something - I paid nearly $2k for my car repair. As a result of this very bad experience and poor follow through from Pavilion, I would NOT recommend using them in the future. read more

They finished most of the repairs six months ago and I picked up my car because it was safe and drivable and they indicated that the remaining brackets were on order. I have called no less than six times. The last time, the manager was supposed to call me back. That was two plus weeks ago and never happened. I have a rattle in door they replaced and it never sounds like it is shut. Junk repair. In the past, I have been very satisfied with USAA authorized repair centers. Don't take your car there for an insurance claim. They refused to give me an estimate even though they knew the insurance claim number and insurance company . They said that their estimate for me would be different than they would give to the insurance company and could not give me that estimate until the work was actually assigned to them. Complete scam. My If I could give a -5 I would. We have USAA and this was one of the "preferred" repair shops. First of all they call my husbands phone and not mine. The excuse was I had given the them his number and not mine. Wrong answer, I gave them my number because it was my car. Second, after leaving message to contact me back to find out when my car would be ready, I finally got a call 2 days later after I asked for a manager. Did the manager call? Answer NO. I received a call from the guy that was working my claim. According to him the car was to be done on the following Tuesday. I called to confirm when I could pick my car up and he said he needed another day to polish and wax my car. I called the next day and still not ready. They also give your car a comprehensive check to add stuff to your bill. Oil change air filter and breaks to mention a few and the over charge for these items. My windshield has paint speckles on it that won't come off. They say they have a 5 star rating on yelp and a Better Business Burea rating. Our brand new Kia Telluride was damaged in the recent hail storm. USAA, our insurance company, had adjusters at Caliber Collision and recommended their service. We trust our insurance company, so we signed up even though we had several other options. Fast forward TWO MONTHS, and our car still isn't fixed. The reasons range from being overloaded with vehicles to not receiving shipments of parts to receiving parts that are damaged. It's incredibly frustrating that we're having to pay our car payment plus insurance deductible while not having a vehicle for so long. My husband has to call and check in with them periodically, otherwise, we're totally in the dark about their progress and anticipated completion dates (which have been extended a couple of times already). I understand that a lot of vehicles were damaged in the hail storm, but they should have turned business away or hired extra workers or something. They DEFINITELY should stay in touch with their customers and offer loaner vehicles or something to those of us who are having to wait so long for them to complete the work. DO NOT GO HERE!!! First off when I dropped my car off they couldn't find my appointment, when she asked who I made my appointment with I said it was online through the website she realized she hadn't checked that system and there was my appointment. No big deal I understand especially if they had multiple systems to go through. I leave my car, they don't tell me an estimate of when it should be done. Alright, fine I'll probably get a call in a day or two giving me some information I assume. WRONG! I heard nothing so I call on Thursday to figure out what's going on, they tell me they are submitting some paperwork to my insurance and they will do that immediately. The following days I ask my insurance company and they have nothing from Caliber. At this point it's been a week and I know nothing about my car, when to expect it be done, are they even working on it. I know nothing. I call and she tells me that she basically has NO IDEA where my car is, I finally just go up there and stand in the lobby for 15-20 min. before the guy who's supposed to know where my stuff is, his desk is messy and unorganized covered in so many files. I watched him for another 5-10 min look through his desk and he could not find the file on my car, no surprise considering it was MESSY AND UNORGANIZED. At this point I'm pissed and just tell him to go get my keys and give my car back to me. Keep in mind my car has been there 7 business days, when my car is brought to me all he has to say is sorry and that my car would've sat there ANOTHER WEEK before getting worked on LITERALLY NOTHING HAD BEEN DONE TO MY CAR NO PAPERWORK BO WORK NOTHING. Set up an appointment to have my vehicle repaired. Informed them of the situation. Day of appointment I call to see where the vehicle should be towed in due to the vehicle not having an engine and not moving under its own power. Damage sustained was the to rear, and no engine had no impact on the work other then them having to push it. They told me then that they did not want to see the vehicle. When I asked the manager how they could have no systems in place for cars that can't move under their own power, especially for jobs over $6,000. His response was "man, I'm leaving her in a week. Here's my regional managers contact". Called the number a few times over the next days to no avail. Recently called again to raise the issue and hopefully have my car in once more, and was met with the same attitude to not wanting to push my car. I work at a vehicle repair shop, and have never heard any complaints regarding pushing vehicles. There are tools and equipment to aid in the mobility of dead vehicles, and a mass collision chain such as this should have an abundance of them. May 2020, I took my 2019 Chevy TRAX to Pavilion Collision Repair Center (Austin Tx 78729) for body repair, All other Dealer Collision Repair Shops suggested to replace the bumper with new one( which cost additional $500) and gave estimate that is about two times more than Pavilion Collision's estimate for the repair; "Sonja" at Pavilion Collision confirmed: (No need to replace the bumper, we can fix it, sand it whole back to its original base, then repaint it again, and will look like new with lifetime warranty for paint and labor). Shortly few days later, got the vehicle in its greatest shape bumper!! I really appreciate the Great Job and honesty of Sonja and Pavilion business that, also, saved several hundreds of dollars for my insurance!! I recently went there to get an estimate for @ 2 very thin and shallow scratches that are about 10 inches long and a few other smaller thin shallow scratches on one door that just needed buffed and painted and you'd never know they were there. I tried to do it myself, so they'd have to remove the car paint I bought at Walmart that ended up being too dark. No big deal. The guy gave me a $1600 plus quote! He said that he would have to paint the whole left side of my car including the bumper to get the paint color right. I have a 2013 Hyundai and the paint color is printed on the label in the car. Wonder why they couldn't get the paint color right on a factory paint newer model car? I found it online for less then $30. On top of that he was alluding to the fact that they may need to replace the inside parts of the door that had the scratches because the integrity of the door may be compromised or unable to bond or whatever lie. Then he told me that if I got my insurance involved that they would handle that, but sometimes insurance doesn't want to pay for everything they do to "fix" your car which seemed like a disclaimer that what the insurance company wouldn't pay for would then be my responsibility to pay. It was very insulting and a waste of my time. Do not go here for any simple scratches you need repaired. I had my truck "repaired" here because a friend I trusted worked as a painter here. When my truck was hit, initially, the cops wouldn't let me drive away from the scene because my truck was leaking fluid. Once I got my truck to PC, I told them REPEATEDLY to check every fluid in my motor just to be on the safe side. About 2 weeks after getting my truck back, my motor starting making a horrible knocking noise. Come to find out, the aces at Pavilion didn't put any oil back in my truck and I has been driving around for 2 weeks with less than a quart of oil. I called them immediately to figure out a plan of action and how they planned on fixing this. Not only did I get dodged for a week by the manager of the shop but when I finally got him on the phone, he was rude, condescending, unwilling to help, kept calling me "little girl" and "young lady" (I'm 32), accused me of not changing my oil (I was 4,200 miles since my last oil change and have never let my truck run low or too long between changes). Then they put the mechanic on the phone. This guy changed his story 5 TIMES in the course of our 6 minute conversation. 1) He never checked my oil. 2) He only checked the volume. 3) He only checked the pressure. 4) He never checked anything because "why the fuck would i?" 5) He checked the dipstick and there was clean oil in there and it was full. My truck is dead and worthless now all because a worthless mechanic and a manager who refuses to hold his employees accountable. My friend that works there even said the mechanic, Mike, is s pathelogical liar and shouldn't be trusted. Now I'm just waiting on my lawyers to try to recoup some of the money I lost when my truck died and I've spoken to several news outlets to get my story out. DON'T GO HERE. Horrible service . Geico pressure me to take my car here after a lady back into me at a gas station. Took them 2 weeks it fix a minor door damage, see picture. Took it there on a Tuesday, morning, call late Thursday to check on it and they did nothing yet, just let it sit. I had to call geico a couple of times to get them to call pavilion. Geico now inform me that they are not sending anyone here due to complaints from customers that they taking a long time for repair. I ask them to do a inspection while they had the car but I guess after having it 2 week they didn't have enough time so they just ignored my request. I worked with a gentleman named Tony, the on-site estimator, who is friendly and makes the process easy and pain free, not trying to fix problems that aren't there. They had my car fixed rather quickly, within 4 days and they did an outstanding job. Bonus: They even washed my car making it look brand new! I am very pleased with the work they did. Very friendly staff! My tire seperated while driving 80mph on 183. Thank god I was able to get all the way over to the Anderson Mill exit without any collisions. Today was, of course, freezing outside and due to a recent knee surgery, there was no way I was gonna get out there and change my own tire. I spotted Pavillion collision repair from the access road and pulled over. Paul Martinez came right over and had me back on the road in under 10minutes! To give credit, the repairs so far appear to be good, but the USAA rep at the time (since moved to a new job elsewhere) was extremely lackadasical, The car was promised to me 4 different times before it was finally completed. I had to complain numerous times to USAA and also go visit the shop. It was there over a month, and there were weeks where nothing was accomplished. I will not return to this location. If the staff had been up front and told me it would take 35 days to repair my car, I would have been happy. But we started at 11 days and just kept getting longer and longer. The original estimate of damage was almost 1/2 of the final estimate. I have used this shop for almost 20 years at different times and never experienced this lack of knowledgeable communication there before. read more

I went here originally because when they were Pavilion, my mom needed a rear bumper replaced and she said they were great. Fast forward to the same car needing another new back bumper (people like to rear-end this car apparently), I got a free estimate from Ana who was very professional and gave me an estimate and seemed like the main person doing everything there. (All other employees asked her to do everything from what I observed). I never saw her again. My service provider was Danny. Request someone else if you get him. I received literally NO communication. My car was there for about a month. I never received a call once. I had to call to get updates and they would tell me he was with a customer and that they would have him call me back. He didn't. I called the next week and he answered the phone and told me he would call me back in an hour. He didn't. I had to have my dad go there to speak to him directly and he told my dad that my car was totaled randomly when Ana said it wouldn't be and it had been sitting there for two weeks while I unnecessarily paid for a rental car. When I went there to get my car, I told Danny what had happened and he just blamed my insurance company who was blaming him and brushed off the fact that he never called me back, every time. When I got my car back home and inspected it, they had broken a handle in my truck that opens to my spare. So not only was it pointless to even take my car there because I got it back looking the exact same it had when I brought it there, they also broke something and said nothing about it. read more

Pavilion and USAA worst service ever, very pour quality work as well. I'm dealing with just subpar service and having to deal with the office of the CEO "in conjunction with" meaning having no real authority. Until using legal terms to sidestep responsibilities when an approve USAA auto repair shop gives services. pavilion collision in Austin Texas, first delivered sub standard repair to my vehicle left parts not fully installed just hanging on my vehicle, didn't secure any of them with the bolts or screws that part needed to be secure. Didn't do any pant finishing work to my vehicle and in waxing 1/3 of my vehicle it must have been to much to ask to finish the other 2/3. In further inspection on my vehicle I notice a tech was rubbing my dash from the inside of my vehicle on the passenger side. I asked him why as he is getting out. "Just wanted to make sure it was clean sir" how so all the repairs were done to the driving side on the outside. Then I noticed what he was so eager to hide, my dash had bubbled up from passenger side to driver side. I asked what did you do to my dash, and asked how did they repair the side of my vehicle. He stated the part was installed and the vehicle was baked. I asked at what temp he said 110 degrees. Me already knowing industry standard having worked in the auto industry I said really I want to see the manager. I asked him what was industry standard for baking pant temp, Mike stated 130. Why did he just tell me 110 and please explain to me what happen to my dash. Why did you bake the whole car instead of the part installed alone before mounting onto the vehicle. So as a policy holder utilizing a USAA auto repair location USAA will back the location for sub standard repair and stated in research this dash has been an issue in 2012 models. I asked to send me their research they are standing behind. Because exposing a garage kept vehicle to 130 degree heat isn't normal, why would vehicle paneling be bake without the interior being installed on the factory line? I can imagine if USAA doesn't stand by the repair work to be the same or better then before then vehicle was in their care. Why do we have USAA insurance, so we can pay someone to tell us too bad, so sad. If the office of the CEO reps have no authority then why is there an office of the CEO, I might as well dealt with the front line High School graduate in claims because it would have rendered the same results. Bad customer service, the policy holder on the short end of the stick and out of luck. Just the part without labor after taxes is $1,347.90 They play up its' military connection whenever possible, sponsoring, for example, the Army-Navy game every year. It is easy, based on the way they pitch it, for USAA to believe that it is some non-profit company that serves the military. The reality is that they are an insurance company, and their owners receive a profit. In 2012, it had the second largest profit in its history, bringing in over $20 billion in revenue. Their executives are paid like the Fortune 500 company they are. Its CEO made at least $5.28 million last year. Its employees do well too. In 2014, USAA employees were told they would receive a bonus of 18.7 percent of their annual salary. What's the point of all of this information in the context of looking at USAA claims? A part of their sales pitch is that you can trust this insurance company because they are not a real for-profit company. But let's call a spade a spade: their CEO is making over $5 million a year. This is a corporation fighting like any other to earn money. Battling in the trenches with them tells us that they are like every other insurance company when it comes to trying to pay victims less than the full value of their claim. Today USAA wanted to act like they are making efforts to repair my car wasting my time on a work day. A hack of a field agent I know I have more auto body repair experience than look at it for two sec and tried to tell me that glue has a high melt temp then plastic. First that scientifically impossible and second I don't he has a science degree. Seems that USAA just pushed around its policy holders until they give up and deal with a damage car caused by there approved repair shops. I promise you even the fact that just the part alone is $1,400 I will see you in court on principle. read more

It definitely took longer than I was expecting it to but when I got my car back it was completely spotless and clean inside and out- cleaner than it has been since I bought it. This was the year that I would put some time and money in to refreshing my 17 year old car. She was looking a bit dated and tired so new tint, some door ding removals but most of all new bumper skins were in order. I lived in San Francisco and the bumpers had been through hell. Now that I live in Austin I don't have to worry so much about hill parking, etc. I bought two used bumper skins and brought them to Pavillion. Dale and the painter came out to look at the bumpers and told me what they would do from sanding,filling, primer, rubber adhesive and paint flex additive. The price was good and I got a good feeling from the painter and Dale. I left the bumpers there Friday, brought my care in Monday so that the painter could look at the condition of my paint and get the paint code. Late that week I got a call that the bumper skins were ready. I went down and picked up the skins, they looked brand new. I was not sure if they got the color and tint exactly right but they looked close. When I got home I threw the new skins on and you cannot tell the color difference. It was a perfect match. I was elated that we got it right the first time. You will see from other reviews that I had some other work done to the car.
